Niiice! I'm jealous haha. Road trips are always fun (when the weather is nice) and kudos to your other half for taking the reins. I normally don't mind driving the whole way either, just as long as one of my passengers keep me awake lol.
I'm looking to start no later than weds too. Even if we don't get our engineer by then, I'll still leave it open.

Personality: Grack is extremely intelligent technology and knows a little about science in general. He is a quick thinker and can find solutions easily in diverse situations. His problem is that he is very crabby. He is easily annoyed at loud noises, questions, talking, lack of talking, lack of help, too much help, animals, invasion of his privacy, anything pink, anything that needed to be updated two months ago, and so on and so forth. Once Grack is annoyed, he will let everyone know of what is wrong with the situation and hobble of lick an old geezer, although statistics say he has about seventy years ahead of him. Another, more serious problem of his, is he has a bad tendency to stereotype whole races of off first impressions or what he's heard. Grack can be a great help, so long as you don't get in his way.

So I've updated a couple of things on the OP:
The look of the ship has changed... and I also reorganized each deck containing specific sections, adding a couple of new ones in the process. This will help give a better sense of location and overall feel of the interior layout.
I moved the misc info down a post, but haven't updated it with anything significant yet.
And finally, more NPCs. These guys as a whole will help push the story, and most specifically, the little side missions and quests. We have a total of 100 crewmembers, so (not including us and the NPCs and PC) that leaves 88 more people left unaccounted for. Don't worry, im not going to have NPCs for every single one lol, but it should let you know that plenty more will be introduced throughout the RP.

What are your expectations for this RP? Are you looking for it to be light-hearted? Action packed? Suspenseful? Are you looking more for character development? Interested more in what we may discover vs ship drama or vice versa? A sentence will do, but if you have a lot to say, please feel free to share it. I want this RP to accommodate all, so your answer could very well mold the future outcomes of this RP. :)

Thanks for your input everyone. This is going to help me when I start putting scenarios together. Berry and DnD, I didn't forget about you! I'd like your feedback as well.
Also, DnD.... are you planning on expanding the species history for Victoria? I know it might seem menial, but a small summary will do. I can always fill in the gaps in terms of where they are on the galactic food chain.
I'm working on the IC right now. Depending on how fast we get everything in order in ooc, we may start sometime this week.

I pretty much want everything you listed, Whiskey. I'm a little more interested in exploration/discovery and some tasty drama (more BSG than Days of Our Lives), but I would love to do some funny mini-arcs too, with character development throughout.
I definitely think the mission-based post mechanics set us up perfectly to plan out plots ahead of time. So generally speaking, I guess that's what I would like to see most: intricate, story-driven, collaborative plots.
