"The funny thing is that I do want to be alone." Abi said reaching her room and pulling out a key. She unlocked the door and turned around. "Now let me be alone." Abi said crossing her arms over her chest and leaning against the door frame.
Tristan leaned in a bit closer to her. "You know what? I don't believe you." He said before moving away. "I don't believe you want to be alone. And I don't believe you're parents would want you to be alone either. Or to focus on revenge. Or anything like that." He said calmly.
Abi grabbed his collar and pushed him against the wall acrooss the hall. "Don't you dare say anything about my parents. You know nothing about them!!" She growled before stomping off into her room locking it behind her. She sat on her bed and put her head in her hands. "he doesn't know anything.." she muttered. As her thoughts enveloped her.
Abi eventually fell asleep, that was only after silently crying knowing he was partly right but never would she admit it because she still found her ways more right for the time being.
When Abi woke up in the mornig an tried to get out of her room the door wouldn't budge at first. That was until she forced it open sending Tristan towards the wall. She then walked out wearing dark green yoga leggings, a blank tank top, and no shoes. Her curly red hair left down as she walked towards the cafeteria and got another apple for breakfast before she went and sat down.
"Uuuuggghhh..." Tristan groaned before getting up. He went to the cafeteria too and got some food. "Couldn't check first or something?" He asked Abi a little out of it himself.
Abi just lifted an eyebrow as she bit into the apple not in the mood to talk. Tristan could probably tell he had made progress cause she didn't tell him to 'go the fuck away' in Abi's words. Although she was struggling with not saying it.
"I wanted to say sorry. I shouldn't have brought your parents into it." He said calmly. "I'll leave you alone though. I should get home and stuff anyway." Tristan added before turning and beginning to walk away.
Tristan stopped and turned back to her. "Look... I just didn't want to hurt you. I just meant... I could tell from the video and how you reacted and how it effected you... You're parents really loved you. And it was obvious how much they meant to you and vice versa." He said and ran his fingers through his messy spiky hair. "I just figured they wouldn't want you to waste your life and gifts by killing yourself. Revenge, fighting, whatever... That's your choice. But you shouldn't ever... Ever pick death so easily."
"Yet sometimes if you add all the things in your life together... Death is easier." Abi said walking past him towards the training room. If she was caught and tried, she would get the death penalty a hundred-fold by the government, if SHIELD had no say in it.
Tristan followed her. "But that's just it. Death is the easy way out. And you don't seem like the type to like to do things the easy way." He said calmly.
"Not now, maybe not for awhile, but eventually..." Abi said as she kicked and punched the bag, her strength gradually growing towards her basic super strength.
Tristan gradually tightened his grip and put more strength into at she used more powerful attacks. "Hey. I'll take that answer over you cursing at me and trying to smash my head in."
Tristan moved back and bit, but overall managed to stay up and hold onto the bag. "That control thing isn't really making it's way into that thick skull of your's is it?" He asked with a slight chuckle.
