Awesome, I got promoted at work.

Awesome what do you do for work?

Ahhhh I used to be in the marines... Now i teach Marine NROTC.

I was teaching JROTC for army, navy, and Air Force last week for their summer camp, was the field medic and taught basic CLS

I could never handle being a corpsmen, can't stand being up to my elbows in someones stomach.

As a medic you get excited about that shit, seriously, you live for gore at that point. But yeah you have to deal with a lot of crazy shit, the worst is when it's your best friend.

I'm good, just getting ready to start another play through of XCOM.
Using the Long War mod so things will be much more challenging than usual.

My brother is a Marine he gets out this week though, honorable. And I first enlisted in the USMC (as logistics) but fractured my foot a day before shipping had to cancel my contract and push my ship date out, it was during the next six months I fell in love with being a medic I chose Army over Navy on the fact I didn't want to be on a ship, though I learned I chose the wrong branch in medic school navy and air force have it better for sure.

Can you transfer to the Marines then? I also have a friend whos getting out of the marines tomorrow actually.

I would love to, that would actually have to go Navy because corpsman are Navy, Marines don't have medics all of their medics are Navy corpsman but they go through training similar to Marines before they are attached to their units. And yes it is possible for me to go from Army to Navy after my contract is up, if it is open to me, I will do it, though I'd go reservist this time.

I'll be working that day which sucks lol. And I need to get XBL again maybe when I get Xbox One then I will again.
