Academy of the Zodiac

Since the dawn of time there has been those who can harness the powers of the Zodiac. This brought about great war in ancient times where the inheritors of the Zodiac all sought immense power. In the end, they came to an agreement. They must not war against each other and keep the secrets of the Zodiac hidden, for their descendant's safety.

As the centuries passed, it became obvious that they would have to have a place where the new owners of the Zodiac would learn to embrace and harness their powers.

This roleplay is the story of the Academy's newest student body, as they are divided into Houses according to their Zodiac, learn about each other, and end up entwined in a destiny that spells either the safety or destruction as earth as they know it.

Interested! Question though, is this the Chinese Zodiac or Western Zodiac we're talking about? Because the initial premise made me think of the anime Fruits Basket, which is the former. I'd probably join either way, I'm just curious.

@Cynder- Oh, that's awesome! Would you mind if I dropped you a pm regarding which powers are acceptable for each zodiac just so I can feel a bit more confident in the ideas? And of course if you have any ideas for this, feel free to let me know!

@LesleyDrakken- It's going to be based on the Western Zodiac because ironically enough, I thought it'd be too similar to Fruits Basket haha!

Go right ahead! I've been designing an MMO-based idea on zodiacs for a long time and I really enjoyed that, so I'd be glad to help you. Just tell me what you have already.

Someone got the idea of making something similar to this, but it sort of died from lack of interest. I'm glad something like this has got attention. I'll join~
