I would be ok with a crazy psychiatrist. Just... there wouldn't necessarily be meds available. It would be more of a psychologist.

Name: Joard Gretson

Gender: Male

Appearance: Joard stands at about five foot, ten inches and has small frame, being a little on the scrawny side. He has golden brown eyes, light brown hair that is cut around his ears in a short, well kept fashion. His lips are thin, and his features are somewhat squared and blocky.

Role: Psychologist

Personality: Joard suffers from Obsessive Compulsion Personality Disorder, which can be seen in the way he keeps all of his things in a specific place and order. He is a serious man, who doesn’t joke very much or smile for that fact. He is often described as “stone-faced” or a “buzz kill”.

Flaws: His worst flaw would have to be his OCPD, which nags at him almost constantly, especially when people come into his office and move things or mess around with his things. His OCPD and seriousness hold him back from making very many friends or connections, as people find him annoying and boring to be around.

Also, I would go into more of the personal tics and habits of needing to do things a specific number of times associated with OCD rather than having an extreme neatness. Really play up that disorder!

I would normally agree, but some basic information would be available in the form of military dossier for everyone. (Higher level officers are required to make bios for basic ceremonies for others to be able to read known accomplishments.) . For the psychologist, I'd think he'd have access to all files as part and parcel of his need to know!

Not necessarily. Gotta remember this crew is put together from different factions, maybe I did some operations against the psychologists faction. They won't want him to know :P

That doesn't make sense why they'd hire on a psychologist with the intention of stunting his ability to do his job, you know? They'd want a psychologist, I suspect, that has some sort of history or ability to work with everyone on board. I imagine that his report gets sent in to ensure there's no need to enact a sort of murder protocol through the robbits in case one of the crew jeopardizes the others. Jason wouldn't know what goes in the report even.

That's more of the job of our exo specialist, Ellri's, character. I'm sure she'll value Joard's input though! I figured you were specifically psychoanalyzing the crew.

Even in real life if you have a lot of censored stuff on your record a psychologist might not know it all.

The censored stuff would be pertinent to military missions, sure, but the general gist shouldn't be lost so as to mask what potential brain trauma or even basic psychological trauma you'd suffer. Medical files are less likely to have redacted information, and are as telling about history as the historical files themselves.

I guess I don't see the "factions" element here because a psychologist would be brought in to accurately paint a picture for our investors. It just wouldn't make sense to have someone that wouldn't be able to do their job. Iunno. Maybe I'm out left field. Jorj can verify or say otherwise since it's his rp.
