Wolf looked at him adn said "Your lucky I know your talking about your bike...and don't worry, I have a faster way to travel" She held out her hand and said "Ready to travel the way of the Reaper?"
She smiled and took his hand. Black magic surrounded them and they vanished from the shore line. In a few moments the magic appeared in a family restroom and they both appeared, Wolf letting go of his hand. "That's what I mean. Perfect landing. We should be in town hall if I remember how the city is laid out"
Wolf nodded and opened her bag, tossing him a canteen. "It refills on its own, a trick I picked up in Asia. Let's go find whose in charge" she opened the door and headed out into a huge marble lobby, a dozen people running around.
Wolf smiled and said "that's dad's think...I just wipe the floor with you" she winked and headed into the lobby, looking around for a soul energy marker
Wolf headed out of the lobby and asked someone where the police station was and was told it was just down the street. She thanked them and lead Rex outside the sun shining above them brightly. She looked at him and said "so, what else do we know about this thing?"
"Maybe," said Rex. "But this is a pretty populated area, and I doubt even a Kishin would kill in broad daylight." He paused, sniffing again. "Smells like whatever this thing is, it's in the direction of the cemetery."
Wolf nodded and said "Then that's where we will start. If I remember right, its not far out of town, come on" She started walking down the busy street, pulling out shades and slipping them on as she walked
Rex nodded, following. "Kind of weird," he commented, "how I can smell Kishins. I'm not a Reaper, but can Reapers do that?" He slipped a set of pilot shades on. "God, I should have brought a Hawaiian shirt, shorts, and Crocs."
Wolf laughed a little then said "We more sense they are near then smell them...but I bet its easier to smell them then sensing them. I should have brought my swim suit" They got out of town and followed the sidewalk towards the fenced area ahead of them
Rex silently imagined that, and a trickle of blood welled from his nose. Damn! he thought. He shoved a piece of tissue up his nose to stop the bleeding.
