"Oh, his attacks are hot? Really, I hadn't noticed," Takeshi remarked, sarcasm dripping in his tone. His hands were indication enough that Viral's attacks were indeed hot, very much so. Normal Ki however strong didn't burn, not like the Beastman's power did. Glancing down at his raw palms for a moment he lifted his head, frowning at the mention of their friend's valuables. Right, his cleaver and scarf, they had managed to lose those in the ensuing scene. They couldn't have gotten too far, and a quick search later he spotted the cleaver a few meters off, sticking up out of the ground. Grasping the cold blade with his injured hands Takeshi winced as he lifted it up, finding a little relief once the blade rested on his shoulder. "The snow won't heal it, though maybe it'll feel better..." Eying the snow thoughtfully he leaned over, placing his palm flush against the white ground below. Immediately he drew his hand back, cussing under his breath as he gave his hand a shake. Nope, that just stung, no doing that again. They would have to wait to patch up when they got back, unless the Narbu were so inclined to give him some help, which he doubted.

Since he was lugging around Viral's cleaver, Shu could take the scarf. Might as well give something to do while they were here, otherwise he'd just start running around all bored. The item in question wasn't particularly hard to find, practically waving to them as it clung to a post on one of the homes. After spotting it Takeshi directed his brother over, watching amused as he went about retrieving it. But of course he made a spectacle of it too, starting off by tumbling down onto the snow. Sure he got it soon after, expressing his happiness in a way only Shu knew how before coming back down. Chuckling in amusement Takeshi gave a shake of his head, going to ruffle Shu's hair but stopping, thinking better of it with his burned hand. "Good job, you're the galaxy's best scarf-fetcher. If we ever need one again we'll know who to turn to," he said jokingly, flashing a teasing smile. Hearing his sibling's woes Takeshi reached out, taking the scarf carefully before lying it over one of the younger boy's shoulders. By twisting it around a bit he managed to wrap it, making a small covering that went right up to just below Shu's eyes. "There you go, now let's go meet the others," he added, starting to walk towards their friends.

Vegeta was in too much of a hurry to get this done with, they needed to slow down, for Viral's sake. Pushing him now was only going to make things worse, he needed to rest. While a hut in the middle of the tundra was scarcely ideal Yumi would take that over the elements for now. If the Narbu were willing to be hospitable then she wasn't going to question it, far be it from her to question alien customs. Once she and Vegeta had gotten the Beastman into bed she placed herself at his side, sitting cross-legged with her back to the wall. Feeling Viral's eyes on her then she glanced down, smiling kindly as she reached up and scratched at one of her ears. "You look like you had one hell of a time fighting them. I'm guessing you took them on by yourself?" All five of them? No, only the big one looked like he'd been in a brawl. So Viral and the big Narbu had decked it out, over what exactly? They were here to try recruiting these people, not fight with them. Then again, perhaps it was the fighting that was their means of recruiting. Show of strength or some nonsense, the usual male pissing contest. Smiling exasperatedly Yumi let out a faint sigh, closing her eyes for a moment before looking back at Viral. "Win or lose, you look like you gave him hell, nice job."

Whatever the Narbu had in mind Vegeta was positive they had something superior. Helping Viral was a generous notion, but unnecessary. If they could just provide some kind of clothing for their friend to wear, more than his worn ones, they could bring him back to the ship. The Chieftain had gone into the other room it seemed, and was only now just returning. The alien had traded in his previous outfit for a set of plain robes, a dark beige with the exception of a white inset that ran down both the front and the back, a cloth wrap tied around his waist to hold it together. Behind him was a smaller Narbu, carrying with them a tray with several mugs on it. One was offered to Vegeta which he took, glancing down at the murky, hot liquid inside. Sniffing curiously he was a bit off-put, the smell bitter and not quite appealing. The same beverages were offered over to Yumi and Viral both, to which the former took two glasses for each of them. At the head of the room the Chieftain had sat down, sipping at his own drink for the moment. Seeing a chance perhaps to speak, Vegeta walked across the room, stopping a few feet shy of where the Narbu sat. "Sir, if you've got the time we really should discuss why we're here. I'm going to assume my friends have already told you?"

What a shame that duel had ended prematurely, it seemed so promising. Viral was unlike any opponent he had fought before in that his powers and abilities were completely foreign. Saiyans, no matter how strong, were still Saiyans, and most exhibited the same strengths. Narbu he knew inside and out, and the Chieftain was familiar with many other races as well. But the Beastman was something new, something exciting, and he'd noticed that from the first moment they met. It was why he was so keen on fighting, to see what new challenge might be brought. Ah, but something had gone awry and now here they were, sitting inside the communal house winding down from the fight. Hearing someone approaching as he sat the Chieftain lifted his head, acknowledging Vegeta with a glance as he sipped away at his drink. "Ah... Yes... The rebellion. Your friends did mention it, kor tak al ban. That was the reason for our duel, to decide if we might ally ourselves with you." Hard to say right this moment seeing as their contest hadn't officially concluded. Viral most likely would have lasted the ten minutes, but the Chieftain would rather be certain. "You should drink, dar'um. This liquid warms the body and relaxes the muscles, a splendid way to relax after a tiring battle."

Shu felt he probably should have been inside somewhere by now if he couldn’t feel his nose all that well, feeling as if he had been outside way too long and bouncing around way too much. Sniffling a little to try and make it feel better, he gave it a wipe before Takeshi soon came over and took the scarf. Watching as he moved it around himself, Shu moved his head back a little as he watched it being wrapped around and closing his eyes when it was wrapped around his face. Not sure what Takeshi was doing at first he soon opened his eyes, feeling around his face at the scarf before making a brief bounce, “Ooh! All wrapped up warm and nice!” he squeaked, bouncing forward a few times and closer to Takeshi, “It smells funny, but my nose isn’t cold! Maybe Mister Big Narbu has some nice bandages to wrap up your hands because you touched Mister Viral’s energy…”

Viral knew he wouldn’t be feeling so weak if Vegeta hadn’t taken so much energy out of him, but whether it was needed or accidental he couldn’t be bothered to question him about. He was completely drained and it felt completely awful, his head too heavy to lift properly. He was in pain still, but he had felt worse he was sure. Staring at Yumi as he tried to figure out what her motive was, he sighed in annoyance, “…Did not…” He sounded slurred as if just woken up and was definitely self-aware, letting out a groan, “Barely did…anything…” He couldn’t remember much at all and his head was in too much pain to try and force a memory to appear, his only hope that it would disappear. If he did start fighting the other Narbu then they would have been in trouble, knowing they were nothing compared to the Chieftain. He didn’t know whether he won or lost, but if he didn’t make it to the time needed then it was definitely a lost to him. He needed to win at something, but when he had no idea what had happened it was difficult to feel annoyed at what happened.

What a mess he was in and how embarrassing, especially when he could barely make it through a fight before he needed help. He was supposed to be a powerful warrior, but he was forced to rely on others to pull him out of the bad times. Trying to move around so that maybe he could sit himself up properly, Viral watched the Narbu moving around to them with some sort of drink. He really didn’t want to drink it but Yumi took it for him anyway, a frown appearing on his face before he tried to look away. He found his head not really moveable for some reason, but he could barely move his arms to try and see why. His arms felt heavy and numb, so maybe it was best that he didn’t try to take the drink without Yumi taking it; however, it didn’t mean it was something he wanted to take in the first place.

Viral wasn't going to appreciate Shu using his scarf, not that he was much in a position to do anything about it. The little guy would make more use of it now anyways, their friend could get it back when they were done. Washed apparently if it smelled funny. "He probably sweats into it all the time, he's always wearing the thing," Takeshi said, shrugging his shoulders, "Better than freezing your nose off though, yeah?" Viral didn't usually get cold, he hadn't bundled up exactly their last time on Pagonia either. Must be nice, not having to wear heavy clothing for the cold. "If they do I'll take it, my hands sting like crap right now," he added, frowning as he gave one a small shake, "Though I'm not so sure I want their medicine. Hell, the Shaharians stuff was weird enough, what do you suppose these guys use?" Some plants maybe, or animal parts for all they knew. He was okay with just some aloe and bandages, nothing fancy or foreign. At any rate, they really ought to go join the others. Standing around out here in the cold was proper miserable and Takeshi didn't have any desire to keep it up. Nodding his head he started walking towards the others, waving Shu on to follow suit.

"That big one over their, I'm guessing it's their leader? He looks beat to hell. He's all burned and cut up, and he was tired when we got there. So... For someone who was fighting at a disadvantage you did really well!" Of course she was going to look for the positive here, she didn't want Viral getting down into the dumps. It may not be so much that he'd potentially lost that was bugging Viral, but rather that he had changed so drastically. Yumi knew he and Vegeta had spent a lot of time as of late perfecting his control, so to have it go wild now must be a big hit to his confidence. Whatever had happened in that fight it hadn't turned out all that bad, they'd been invited back to the home of the Narbu after all, and even offered drinks. Gazing down at the dark liquid in the cups Yumi took two, nodding appreciatively as she placed them both at her side. They didn't smell much like anything, but according to the Chieftain were a relaxant of sorts. She was fine, though judging by Viral's position he could use a bit of aid.

Just to be safe, Yumi tried a bit of the drink first. It was a tad bitter and had a decidedly spicy undertone to it, almost like a wine she supposed. For all the iffy taste that it had she could feel the warmth sliding down her throat, and even from her tiny sip her whole body felt warmed up after a brief moment. "Wow... This works pretty well," she remarked, looking down at the drink, "You should really try a little. Here..." Edging a bit closer to her friend Yumi reached down, carefully placing a hand on the back of his head. Easing him up slightly she placed the cup at his lips, and soon as they parted she tipped the glass back, letting some of the liquid poor down. Smiling hopefully she laid Viral back on the bedroll and placed the drink aside, folding her hands across her lap. "Did that help at all? It doesn't taste all that great, but I know I feel a bit more relaxed!"

Vegeta was not particularly keen on drinking this, whatever it was. He was cold sure but he would warm up in due time now that they were inside, he could do without the alien beverage. It didn't help him that Yumi went ahead and drank some, now he'd seem rude if he refused. Smiling slightly he lifted his glass, nodding his head appreciatively before taking a small sip. Thank goodness the Chieftain wasn't looking, because soon as he drank his face turned a slight hue of purple, a hand shooting to his mouth to keep himself from spitting it out. Ugh, not only was it bitter but it tasted almost sour, and spicy, a strange combination. Forcing himself to swallow back the drink he sighed, placing the cup down on a nearby low table. "Thank you for that... But we're not here for drinks. We were hoping to talk to you about your cooperation with the rebellion? Did you come to a conclusion while battling Viral?"

Takeshi and Shu got some uncertain looks from the Narbu outside, but they were allowed in despite that. Probably his carrying around Viral's cleaver that did it, it was a fairly impressive weapon. As soon as he had crossed the threshold into the building there was an immediate difference in temperature, and boy was it nice. Whatever the walls were made out of they trapped heat well, you would be hard pressed to know that it was all snowy and cold outside. Already inside were Viral, Yumi and Vegeta, the former pair sitting off to the side and Vegeta busy speaking with the Chieftain. Glancing back to make sure Shu came inside he smiled, going over to where the Beastman was laying. "Hey, you're still awake, good! We've got something for you," Takeshi said, bouncing the cleaver on his shoulder a bit. Pulling it off his person he winced again as it put pressure on his hands, setting it down beside their friend carefully. "And Shu's got your scarf, we didn't lose it."

"I did decide, Saiyan. My fight with Viral was enlightening, and I'm happy to say, entertaining. I've never fought a foe quite like him before, it was interesting to say the least." Pausing for just a moment the Chieftain lifted his mug up, taking a long drought from the brew before putting it aside, sighing contently. Just on the other side of the room the door was opened up, and in came the two other Saiyan pups from earlier. He had picked his opponent well, he felt. Nothing those two could have done would have been any different from the other opponents he'd battled before. "Your comrade was astounding, quite powerful. I don't know quite what happened to him, but he would have easily lasted through our duel at the rate we were going. [i]Heil cra fash, lok tor bal.[i] Such a shame, I looked forward to seeing his strength. If the rest of you can remotely compare to his power than I feel we've a safe chance of picking some good allies in you. And if your leader is even stronger than this, well, I don't think I have any reason to fear for my people's well-being."

Shu didn’t mind the scarf too much, finding it to be all too warm to find bother with it. Squeaking happily, he looked up at Takeshi and tilted his head, “Ooh? Noooo it doesn’t smell like that; you smell like that!” he spoke quickly, bouncing along, “It smells like Mister Viral and something else I don’t know. It’s weird”. While he didn’t want to think about it too much, Shu did want to think about getting into the warm and out of the cold. He had been out here for long enough and probably longer than anyone else now, feeling pretty cold as a result. He didn’t have to move a lot so he was definitely feeling the bite of the cold at this point. Feeling curious over Takeshi’s aversion to their medicine, he stared at him before looking down at his hands, “But you’ll feel better…plus maybe they use snow but it feels better! Oooohhh, I wonder what they like here…what do they eat? Meat? No fruit…”

Viral couldn’t help but feel fed up as Yumi spoke to him, his first thought going to the idea that he was a child needing cheering up over doing poorly. Letting out a groan he tried to move his head, but more or less finding that he couldn’t all that easily without getting a headache, “I knew I could…I…just…hmph…” He was finding it hard to say anything, at least something that was useful in finding out what happened. Something definitely caused him to forget a majority of the battle and that greatly bothered him, knowing that anything could have happened and that the others had to intervene. He shouldn’t have transformed into his greatest form, but there was nothing he could do about that when he did try to use his feline form first because he had experience with it. He was just so confused, but he knew everyone else held the answers to this strange and uncomfortable situation.

Watching Yumi with the drink, he frowned slightly when she didn’t take it all that kindly judging by her expression, but she did eventually approve. Not feeling too sure about the liquid himself, he grunted as he was sat up a little so that he could swallow without a problem before being administered the drink. Not entirely able to drink it on his own, coughing a little indicated he had indeed managed to drink it, sighing as he was laid back down again. Frowning, he stared at Yumi before answering, “…Giving me alcohol…? Thought I wasn’t allowed…” It was a little unusual for her to give him alcohol, but maybe she didn’t know it was since she wasn’t much of a drinker; himself, on the other hand, alcohol was something he was pretty well acquainted with.

Finally getting back to the others, Shu popped in after Takeshi with a stare up at the Narbu at the door before bouncing in on after his brother. Certainly feeling pretty happy with himself for no real reason, looking to Viral he decided it would be good to give him back his stuff, something Takeshi was willing to do as well. Smiling as he bounced on towards him, Shu shook himself to get rid of a lot of the snow that was still clinging to him before it melted and made him even colder. Staring at Viral, his head slowly tilted before he realised what Takeshi was saying, his eyes quickly looking up at him before down at Viral again, “Ooh! Yeah! It’s warm and nice”, he nodded before unravelling it from his head, noticing Viral’s concerned expression, “I had a cold nose! It was not nice to have”.

Takeshi couldn't say he would want to wear something of Viral's. The guy nearly always had the same clothes on, and sure, he washed them. But you wore something long enough and it just smelled like you no matter what. He'd had a few shirts like that, he had to get rid of them because he was sick of smelling himself incessantly. "I do not smell like sweat. It's fricken 20 degrees, I don't even think I can sweat!" Certainly not out here, he was too cold to. With any luck the inside of this place was going to be nice and toasty, they could even lose a layer or two while they relaxed. Though that implied hanging around, and far as he knew they had zero intention of doing such a thing. The cold certainly wasn't helping his burns either, he'd think it would but in reality it just made his hands sting more. "Who knows what they put in their medicine. Just because it works for them doesn't mean it'll work for me, you know? I could get sick or something!" Takeshi pointed out, shaking his head. "And I seriously doubt they've got fruit on this planet. I hardly saw any plants at all, let alone fruit. Roots maybe, but nothing you'd want I bet."

If Viral was bashing himself for losing the fight then he ought not to be. Just one look at the Narbu and Yumi could tell how tough the fight must have been for the alien. There was no knowing if Viral had even lost, obviously they hadn't been fighting seriously, otherwise they wouldn't be here right now as guests. Shame that it had done a number on her friend though, his erratic changes must have really taken it out of him. Of course the device Vegeta had slapped on Viral couldn't be helping any really, but until he said take it off she had no intentions of meddling with the device. Her attention was elsewhere anyways, glancing at the drinks offered to them by their host. Figuring it rude to refuse she took two glasses, examining her own. Part of traveling was experiencing new things, and she really ought to make sure it was okay for Viral. Sniffing first to see if it was remotely harmful she took a small sip, a bit curious about the taste. It burned going down and had a strange mix of flavors, she wasn't quite sure if she hated or liked it. It did however warm her up some, so that was nice. "Here, you should have some," Yumi said, smiling as she helped the Beastman drink a bit. When she set him back down she glanced at the glass in her hand, blinking owlishly. "Alcohol...? You think this stuff is alcoholic?" Nah, she knew how alcohol smelled, and with her enhanced smell she should notice it. Just to be sure she took another drink, smacking her lips quietly. "Doesn't taste like it..."

Takeshi wasn't exactly sure if the guards would let him inside, he was sort of carrying a large weapon after all. With naught but a glance his way though he and Shu were shown in, finding the building to be a lot warmer than the cold beyond the door. Smiling happily at being out of the chill for now he glanced around the room, trying to find where Viral was. Lying down, huh? Probably for the best, he must be worn out at this point. Stepping across the room and tracking a bit of snow along the way he knelt down at his friend's side, laying the cleaver down carefully. "We've got your stuff, don't worry. It was easy to find." Hopefully Viral didn't mind Shu using the scarf, he was usually quite particular about that item of his. Sitting flush on his backside now a steaming mug caught Takeshi's attention, and he was reminded of the dryness of his throat. "Hey, drinks! Awesome," he said, reaching out and taking one of the beverages. Before anyone could say something he had taken a long drought of it, and immediately after swallowing near half the liquid he lowered the glass, grimacing. "Holy crap, what is this stuff?!"

Shu didn’t much care for what things smelled like to announce them as plain as day when they weren’t unusual, at least when accounting for Takeshi’s particular smell. He often smelled funny and Shu didn’t much care, but when something smelled unusual he was quick to point it out. He didn’t get to go near Viral too much to understand what he might smell like, but it didn’t bother him and made him curious to what it could be since he wasn’t too familiar with the other smell. Feeling pretty curious, he quickly looked to Takeshi when he appeared bothered by his smelly nature, giving him a smile, “Ooh! I’m sure you will later”, he spoke quickly, bouncing around him, “Don’t get upset over not yet”. Shu didn’t know what was supposed to be dangerous about taking medicine, especially when he had been told it was always good for him to take when he needed it. He felt pretty confused, tilting his head at his dismissal, “But everyone says medicine is good so why would it not be?”

Viral wished he could find the energy to move and get up, feeling as if he was becoming lazier with each minute he spent lying down like this. If he was supposed to find a way to recover his energy then lying around like this wasn’t going to help when there was no sun or solar power in here to recover. That device Vegeta put on him was still clinging to him, probably not doing him any good too. He didn’t know whether it actually worked properly or if he was just being used as a test subject. Not feeling all too happy right now, he did accept the drink but was quick to recognise it, frowning at Yumi’s doubts, “Aghh…like you’ve tried Narbu…” Narbu alcohol was pretty high quality and usually hard to come by, that is unless you’re an Elite of the King. Just because he was under the King’s control didn’t mean he couldn’t drink a Saiyan under the table.

Not entirely happy at seeing Takeshi treating his cleaver like an item awkwardly deserving to be carried around, Viral stared at Takeshi and watched as he slowly laid his cleaver down, frowning at the sight of it and what Takeshi said, “You…lost my stuff…” he muttered, sounding pretty annoyed, “I trusted you…” Not entirely sure what to make of Shu using his scarf in such a way, he watched the kid place it down with his cleaver before his eyes went to Takeshi as he immediately took a drink. Watching him carefully, he smirked a little when he immediately downed the drink as if it was water only to be pleasantly surprised. Chuckling a little, he soon found it too painful to do and soon stopped, “…Idiot…you’d drink sewage so long as it was in a cup…”

"I might have a reaction to the medicine, you know! I could be allergic to something, or there could be something in it that would make me sick. There's a reason Saiyans go through the trouble of getting back to their ships to heal, its because we don't know what some stuff will do to us." The fact that they were part human probably made them even more susceptible to alien illnesses. Saiyans had quite the immune system, and Takeshi felt his and his brother's must be diluted because of their human lineage. Takeshi sighed as he glanced down at his hands again, wondering if he could just dip them in the healing tank for five minutes and be done with it. "Haven't you listened to Vegeta, or that doctor Viral was seeing? They kept saying medicine isn't always good. I mean... That was stuff for Viral, but it's probably true for other stuff too, yeah? So instead of taking medicine that might make it worse I'll just let it heal normally. Or... Use something that's not going to make me sick." A bit of discomfort was better than ending up nauseous because he used some weird plant to soothe a few tiny burns.

Being inside the home was a nice change of pace. If they weren't just going to go immediately back outside Takeshi might even shed a few layers and relax. No point in doing that now though, even if it was considerably warmer inside. Viral was waiting for his things most likely at any rate, they'd best be getting his things back to him. Placing the cleaver down carefully at their friend's side he waited for Shu to set down the scarf as well, taking a seat beside the bedroll. The Beastman sure looked beat, not to mention he was still in that weird partial-form of his. It was certainly something else, Takeshi had never seen something like it. Though he'd admitted to losing the two items he was still a bit dejected when Viral spoke to them, smiling apologetically. "Hey, we got them back though yeah?" he asked, pouting slightly as trust came to question, "Sorry! At least we didn't leave them outside though, yeah?" Man, they just couldn't win. Between being out in the cold and being chided Takeshi was feeling a bit thirsty, and there just so conveniently happened to be drinks at hand. Despite his issue about medicine he didn't hesitate at all as he grabbed the mug, easily throwing down most of the drink. Once it had finished and he got a good taste of the beverage he near gagged, setting the glass back down as he made a face. And of course Viral was laughing at him, he probably had set that up. "Would not! Sewage smells bad, that didn't!"

"So you'll help us then...? Excellent, it'll be nice to report back with some good news for a change." Viral had made a fair impact on the Chieftain, even if he'd technically gone rampant. And the show of coming to his aid afterwards, as the Narbu had said, was a display that their group were nothing like the Saiyans. It had been those two factors that swayed the Chieftain's decision, and would perhaps even sway the course of their impending battle. The Narbu were nothing to scoff at, the King had been especially careful when handling these people while under his rule. Considering the fact this particular one had held his own against Viral's various forms was a testament to their power, they would make great allies indeed. Smiling in satisfaction Vegeta adjusted himself carefully, having resorted to kneeling down before the alien, placing his hands on his knees. "Thank you for hearing us out, I swear that you've made the right decision. And as Korian has promised, after the war is won he has pledged to help rebuild any worlds effected by the Saiyans. So in other words, you have his guarantee that there will be aid coming to Pagonia."

There had been plenty of skepticism about joining the rebellion initially, and it wasn't without warrant. The Saiyans had never exactly been benevolent, so why should Saiyans fighting against the King be any different? These pups had done something that he had never seen the soldiers of the King do though, and that was come to the aid of a comrade. If those were the kind of people that would be fighting then the Chieftain knew his warriors would be well looked after, not just used as a sort of replacement. "I hope you keep your word, Vegeta. A warrior's word around here is as good as a blood pact, we do not go back on our word. We've pledged our support and you will get it, as much as we can give. I'll contact other Chieftains around the region and ask for their aid as well. Key vos ar gecht mal, we will defeat that tyrant and restore not just our world, but all worlds to their glory." After all, worlds that could grow meant there would be more able bodied fighters, more for the Narbu to battle. Not for conquests like the Saiyans, but as a sport. It was not uncommon prior to these last few decades for Narbu to travel and fight for sport, the same with other races. Once the danger of the Saiyans was removed these tournaments of theirs could resume, and the Chieftain was elated at that idea.

Shu didn’t fully understand Takeshi with that, not really understanding what being allergic meant. He didn’t understand a lot about medicine, but he did hear everytime that it was needed and helpful. He didn’t really understand the Saiyans all that much either, but going for those tanks certainly made him curious as to what they actually were and why they had to get really wet to get heal when medicine could be consumed instead. Frowning a little, Shu shook his head at the Vegeta remark, “He doesn’t talk to me much and I don’t understand the doctor guy. I thought that medicine was different too! It’s not for feeling ill but something else, right? Oooh, I don’t understand medicines…” With giving the scarf to Viral again, the Beastman seemed pretty unhappy with Takeshi; however, the drink he took made Viral laugh. Shu didn’t understand it, but he didn’t know what that drink was other than Takeshi didn’t like it at all.

Viral probably would had killed Takeshi if he left his stuff outside in the freezing cold only to get lost forever, probably jump out from his place and tear his face off despite his lack of energy. He was definitely annoyed at him for doing such a thing, especially when he remembered trusting Takeshi with his stuff. His scarf getting lost would had been just as bad as getting his cleaver lost, especially when both of those ‘objects’ happened to be his most important. Glaring at Takeshi angrily, the only amusement he could find was his suffering over the ingestion of a Narbu specialty. The kid was too quick to do anything, even if it was something he shouldn’t be drinking so quickly. If he was quick to drink something like that quickly then maybe it was best not to give him anything stronger in the future, “Even with a cold…”

From the sounds of it, Vegeta had talked to the Chieftain in his favour and come to an agreement, hopefully one that meant all that was worth it. He didn’t know what was going to happen to him from this point on considering he only vaguely remembered seeing the ship when he was dragged off. If he could last going off towards the ship like this then that would be fine, but his energy wasn’t exactly recovering very well if only a little slowly. He wanted to sit up or at least have the ability to look at himself, especially when he had been in a pretty big fight and might have sustained injuries. As much as he hated this whole recruitment run, he still seemed to have accomplished something whether he lasted the ten minutes or not. Trying to shift himself, he tried to push himself up but could barely lift his head, his biggest problem right now being how awkward he felt while lying down like this.

"Ech! You could have warned me that drink was going to taste like crap!" Takeshi whined, still making faces. And the Narbu were drinking it like it was nothing, they must not have any taste buds. Why did his mouth feel all tingly now too? Eh, weird alien drinks, he'd be more careful in the future from now on. They could keep their drinks, he was pretty sure they had something back in the shuttle anyways. Sighing softly he leaned back a bit, folding his arms over his chest whilst minding his hands. "How come they live in such simple houses, huh? Don't you think they'd live in places more like the base...?" he mused, changing the topic entirely. "I mean... It's warm in here, but it's not exactly fancy. And how does it hold up against storms, you know? It can't be worth building these things if they fall apart." If he was living on a planet like this he'd definitely want a better home, one with more heating than just some fire. The Narbu did have one luxury he was lacking though, masses of fur covering his body. Shu was sort of close, but even he was chilly. Lifting up his shoulders in a shrug Takeshi looked back down at Viral, smiling as he raised an eyebrow. "So you don't get cold at all, do you? I mean, you were practically naked compared to us."

Yumi snickered as well watching Takeshi, amused he had drank so much of the foul stuff. She had only taken a sip and hated it, she couldn't imagine finishing off an entire glass like he had. And it was alcoholic no less, evidently he had never had a drink before. "Viral's right, one of these days you're going to drink something really nasty," she said, smirking teasingly. "You should really check what you're drinking or eating before you try it. I can think of plenty of times you ate something and regretted it. Remember the fried larvae back in East city? You nearly threw up when the cook told you what it was!" She could recall his face now as well as his reaction, priceless. Taking a gander about the building she shrugged her shoulders, relieving an itch on her nose idly. "I don't know, it seems homely, I kind of like it. You don't need anything super fancy to be comfortable. Or do you miss getting to live the high life, Mr. Prince?" That got her a stick of the tongue, only making her laugh again. Just before her Viral started moving around, and looking down she saw him trying to sit up. Wanting to help she reached down, sliding her hand under the Beastman's back to support him, gently helping him into a sitting position. "Are you going to be able to walk back? I can help if you need it."

Everyone was on about restoring the galaxy to some former glory, none of which Vegeta had any knowledge of. He figured it hadn't always been a mess like it was now, the Saiyans were to blame for the current state of affairs. He'd not put much stock into it before but now he was becoming curious, he'd like to see how things might turn out. To be able to travel among the many planets freely, not just himself but countless others, that was an interesting notion. "I can vouch for the rebels, they're doing the right thing. Korian's methods haven't always been the best, but his goal is what matters. We'll get this war over with and everyone can get back to focusing on prospering and not battling one another." This kind of fighting wasn't enjoyable, not even for someone like him of Saiyan descent. And he was willing to bet that many Saiyans felt the same way, if Kai, Choi and Kabocha were any indication. Their parents were a mixed bag, so maybe the population was split. With any luck they would have an easy time of transitioning the Saiyans over once the King was removed from power.

Viral couldn’t believe how moronic Takeshi was being, especially considering it was the Chieftain’s own brew and he was calling it crap. He was just lucky the Chieftain appeared to be more preoccupied with Vegeta and didn’t hear Takeshi insult his alcohol. Feeling pretty fed up with Takeshi, he let out a groan and looked away for a moment. It was certainly questionable that Takeshi would think stone was a lot more homely for a hunter than living in a house constructed of furs and animal hide, but then again he grew up in a little bubble so of course he’d think something like that was more comfortable. It was pretty stupid, really, but if he wanted to be naïve then he can think stone is better than fur any day.

Sighing lightly, he kept his attention off Takeshi until he questioned his dress habits out in the cold. Looking to him he delivered a glare, feeling embarrassed with the way he worded that, “I…get cold…” he growled, pretty annoyed by him already. The fact that Takeshi was questioning him on that particular subject made him pretty annoyed, but it was the truth that he did feel the cold, just he didn’t get affected by it in the same way they did and didn’t feel the stab quite as much. Pretty annoyed with being unable to move much, he did try to get up but couldn’t quite get up; however, Yumi was quick to respond and was soon helping him up. Gasping as he was moved, he felt dizzy for a moment as his head fell forward. As his vision decided to leave him for a moment, he slowly moved a numb heavy hand to his head and pressed his palm against his forehead.

Viral didn’t like how he was feeling at all, nor did he like or understand how his own paw felt. Moving his paw away he tried to focus his vision, his mind unable to understand what he was seeing. Staring down at his slightly furry forearm he twisted his arm slightly, his eyes on the strange fin that protruded from it too. He felt confused amongst other things, his mind too busy buzzing to remember what Yumi asked him, “…What’s…happened to me…?” Nevermind the device that was strapped to him, he didn’t know why he was like this or why everyone had seemingly ignored it. He didn’t know what was going on anymore, especially regarding his own health.

Getting the notion that Takeshi was getting on Viral's nerves, Yumi opted to put a stop to their conversation. From what she overheard from Vegeta they had accomplished what they came to do, so they should be on their way shortly. With the Beastman mostly incapacitated she would have to help him move, not really an issue. Smiling she placed a hand on his back, easing him up into a sitting position. She thought she had made it easy anyways, Viral gasping was a sign it was anything but. Cringing at the sound she looked at him apologetically, adjusting herself to hold him easier. At last he noticed the mutations his body had undergone, something that they had been tactfully trying to stay away from for the time being. "You changed... A couple of times, and you got sort of, well... Stuck." she replied, not quite sure how else to explain it. "Vegeta can fix this, don't worry. It's only a temporary problem, right Vegeta?"

"We'll take your word for it, Vegeta. Just be sure to deliver on it, we don't take very kindly to being deceived or lied to. The King will know that soon enough." The Narbu had every intention of punishing the Saiyans for their actions, just not as soon as this. In a way the Chieftain saw the rebellion then as a gateway to his people earning redemption, and with any luck restoring their might in the universe. They had gone from a proud people to Saiyan dogs, now it was finally time to ascend back to their former glory. And with that, he hoped, they could help guide others as well. "If our arrangements are done then we've nothing more to discuss, I'd think. Besides..." the Chieftain paused, gesturing over to the rest of the group, "It seems like your friends are prepared to go. Luzi pas fea gor mal, terra no fuerst, our world is your world. If this works in our favor you and your comrades will be seen as allies to the Narbu, and you're welcome to come and go as you please."

Vegeta nodded his head appreciatively, smiling as he rose to his feet. "Thank you, Chieftain. We'll do our best to win this war, you've got our guarantee on that. There's far too much on the line here to give it anything less than 110%." As for returning to this world he wasn't so certain about that. It was much like Shaharia, the climate simply wasn't to their liking. As a formality perhaps they would come back, but Pagonia was a far cry from their typical vacation spot. How helpful that Viral had done the battling part of the negotiations, talking had taken no time at all. It was time to get moving then, and on to the next world, whichever that was exactly. He would have to look at their maps when they got back, might as well travel to the nearest world in order to make use of their time. Takeshi and Shu were ready to get moving already, but one glance at Viral and Vegeta could tell his friend was still having some trouble. He realized what had happened to him now too it seemed, that was just a slew of complications. "We'll get you sorted out when we get back to the ship, Viral," he said, coming over to join the others, "It's my priority to figure this out, so you won't be stuck like this for long."

Viral didn’t know what was happening to him now, not at least after having a blurry look at his own paws. Slowly raising a paw to his head again, slowly he moved his fingers around before finding the beginning of a horn sticking out his head and another on the other side of it. No wonder his head felt heavy, but around the horns he also felt sore and tender. Pulling his hand away from his head he looked away a little, not feeling too confident about his recovery anymore. Listening to Yumi’s answer to it all didn’t give him the confidence he needed, especially when it meant all that training had probably made it worse. He didn’t know how it could have happened or if what she said was true, but either way it was a little stressing when it didn’t feel like anything he could reverse himself. Slowly looking back at her, he frowned and slowly looked to Vegeta.

He couldn’t care about whether the deal was done or not, especially when he had bigger things to worry about in regards to himself. He wasn’t sure why it happened or whether the surge of energy he went through had anything to do with it. The energy had been leaking from him pretty quickly and he did change to try to stop it, but that was the only hint he was going to get and he didn’t even know why he had been leaking energy in the first place. Watching Vegeta’s form as he turned his attention towards them finally, he frowned at the answer he was given when all it delivered was a lack of one, “More testing…” he mumbled, looking down at himself and slowly raising a paw to his chest, “Just…give me back my…god damn energy!” Viral was pretty close to pulling the device off, especially when it was hindering him so greatly. He would probably have more to spare if this thing wasn’t attached to him and he wouldn’t be left so breathless after simple movements. He hated feeling weak and right now that was all he could recall feeling whenever he did anything at all.

Moving Viral in his current state might be tricky, he didn't appear to be able to move under his own power at the moment. Vegeta figured he and Yumi could simply fly their friend back, they'd want to be quick since they were clothed so lightly. He may not be overly fond of flying, but when he couldn't move on his own there wasn't much room for debate. He'd scarcely said anything since getting here and yet the Beastman was already sounding pessimistic about what was to come. And he wasn't keen about the device either, though that wasn't completely unwarranted, it was a nasty little tool by design. "Your energy is precisely the reason why you went and changed like this," Vegeta pointed out patiently, placing a hand on his hip. "Until we get to the ship, the device stays. Sorry, but that's my order and it's going to stand. What happened to you this time is new, we can't risk letting you go berserk, not when we've just gotten the good will of the Narbu here." Once back in the security of their ship he would gladly remove the device, Viral could act with less scrutiny on his person there. Sighing softly Vegeta looked at the brothers, nodding his head towards the door. "Takeshi, Shu. Go get the ship, will you? The less Yumi and I have to go out in the cold the better."

Well Vegeta was certainly taking charge, ordering Viral like that. Takeshi thought he hated doing that sort of thing, evidently not. It was a fair order though, considering that the Beastman had in fact already gone berserk once today, there was a good chance it could happen again. Just to save his own butt though he wouldn't voice that opinion, Viral would definitely chew him out later for agreeing. He wasn't content on keeping quiet about his own orders though, glancing up at Vegeta with an annoyed expression. "What? Why do we have to go get it? We just sat down!" he complained, folding his arms over his chest.

"Because... Unlike you and Shu, Yumi and I do not have any clothes for this type of weather. We're at risk of getting sick, or possibly even frostbite if we don't move quickly. So I figured it's easier for you two to bring the shuttle here, then we don't have to travel." And transporting Viral would be easier as well, as flying or even walking him could prove painful if he was jostled a lot. "Unless you don't think you're up for it," Vegeta added, smirking as he raised an eyebrow. "After all, it is awfully cold outside. I'd hate to ask someone so sensitive to take on such an uncomfortable task."

Everything Vegeta had just said was directed solely at pushing Takeshi's buttons. He never took anything lying down like that, certainly not if it was a matter of pride. Predictably he got right up to his feet, looking at Vegeta angrily as he prodded the other boy in the chest. "Don't treat me like I'm some delicate flower! I can go do it, I can get the ship by myself if I have to!" he snapped, pushing with his finger again. Realization set in a second later after the fact, making Takeshi narrow his eyes as he drew back his hand. "Jerk... I'll go get the ship... Shu, just stay here with them." No point in dragging his brother along, it wasn't as if the little guy could pilot anyways. Turning to face the Narbu he managed a small smile, rubbing the back of his neck awkwardly, "Uh... Thanks for the drink? It was uh... Nice." Best to get going before he had to build on that lie. Spinning promptly on his heels Takeshi went to the door, stepping back out into the frigid air beyond it. With a slight shiver he took off from the ground, making a beeline for their shuttle.

Viral gave Vegeta a sharp look when he was told off, slowly lowering his paw away from his chest. He didn’t like it being on him and now he was being told it was all his fault he was in this mess. Even if it was true, the way Vegeta worded it made him sound like a completely loose cannon and who knew what the logic behind taking him to an enclosed ship was about. He could easily blow a hole in the ship under that logic, but if that was what Vegeta thought he should do then it would be his fault if it actually happened. It irritated him to have to be subject to so many ‘what ifs’ incase something went horribly wrong, but it was just the reality of it right now. He didn’t know what was wrong with him, but apart from the pain he would rather be rid of these additional features.

Watching Takeshi as he began to make a fuss, Viral let out a sigh and looked down at himself once more in contemplation. If Takeshi wasn’t so prone to being such a baby then they would be setting off by now in the ship, but as such he was making a fuss over it and just causing him more pain in doing so. Viral didn’t even know why he was feeling so much pain; he didn’t think he had hurt himself too much in that battle if he had no true visible wounds and the only blood he could smell was from his nose. He didn’t remember being punched in the nose so it was probably due to the lack of energy he had to keep his body together. Once Takeshi had finally decided to get going, Viral frowned and looked to Vegeta and Yumi, “Just…how bad is it…?” he spoke lowly, still finding it hard to get the strength to speak, “This has never happened before…I’ve never felt this pain…not since the Saiyans…”

Shu was pretty confused over the whole ordeal, first getting told to go and then to stay; however, he was pretty good at sticking around and not rushing after someone who could move faster than him. He didn’t know how the ship worked and staying with the others was probably the best thing to do. Smiling at the others, he looked between them before to Viral, tilting his head a little before bouncing on his feet, “Mister Viral will be okay! Maybe pain because you got squished by big Mister Narbu a few times. It looked like it hurt! But you were brave and stayed fighting without saying ‘no more’. Mister Vegeta will know what to do! Right?”

Viral probably didn't like being told off, but that's how it was. For his own safety as well as everyone else's he was going back to the ship, and he was keeping that device on. Weakness and discomfort were a small price to pay for the well being of everyone involved, the Beastman would have to deal for the time being. He would get his energy back too, eventually. Either through recovering it naturally or releasing it from the device. That part was still conjecture however, it was hard to know precisely how releasing the power could work. Since it was so uncertain Vegeta was opting to just retain it until it either diminished or they had elsewhere to release it. Even if they were going to try giving Viral back his power they couldn't do so, not here. To get back to the ship they were going to need the shuttle, and to get the shuttle Takeshi was going to be their errand boy. As he'd thought the boy was up in arms at being ordered around, but some careful wording and a bit of reverse psychology had him going on the task he was assigned. Vegeta smirked with self satisfaction as he watched Takeshi leave, shaking his head. Viral may be an impenetrable dome sometimes, but that kid was about as solid as wet paper.

Vegeta didn't quite want to go into Viral's condition, but he was asking about it. Yumi wouldn't know where to even begin with this sort of thing so it fell to him to explain. "For your forms to be manifesting all at once, something is seriously wrong. Whether its with your energy or your anatomy I can't say for certain yet, but something inside of you has gone haywire." That much should be obvious, Viral himself had said that this had never happened before. Nor could Vegeta recall a single instance where it had, not as long back as he could remember. "I'd expect pain, your body is being made to shift in ways it shouldn't be. I can't imagine what it's like, being caught in a state of partial transformation. Two of them I recognize, but those fins... I'm not familiar with those. They must belong to your third form." And just what precisely was that, he wondered? They resembled dorsal fins, so some kind of fish. Considering the nature of Viral's forms his first thoughts were of sharks and other voracious fish, something that could fight. What a strange thing to give Viral though, it was even more situational than his other transformations. Arching an eyebrow and glancing down at Shu, Vegeta smiled slightly and nodded his head in confirmation. "Yeah, I'll figure it out. It might take me a little while, but I will figure this out." He had all the resources he might need, from the data provided by Sayomi to Doctor Ikura's work, as well as some of his father's and his own. It was all there, he was just missing something, a link.

"Hmph, stupid Vegeta... Making me come back out here." And making him drive of all things, with his burned hands. Granted, the sensation had died down considerably by now, only a numb tingle remained. But flying the ship meant using all the controls, and that meant pulling and shifting things constantly. He'd drop the shuttle off, but as soon as he did so someone else was flying, he had no desire to pilot right now. The vessel was quite close by, just on the outskirts of the settlement. Reaching it within two minutes he touched down before the ship, trudging through the snow to the door. Seeing the button frozen over slightly Takeshi let out a groan, his shoulders slumping as he hung his head. Of course, they leave for five minutes and that happens. Placing a palm just near it he gathered up energy, enough to just create heat and melt away the layer of ice. With that removed he opened up the shuttle, Since it had run recently it took no time at all to fire up the engines despite there being ice on the outside, and with a gentle push of the throttle he had it moving towards the settlement. What a silly job to do, it was easily within walking distance from the building to here, the shuttle didn't need to be moved. Eh, too little too late now, he was already doing it. There was ample space to land when he did arrive, and he was able to place the shuttle just within a few meters of the entrance. The guards didn't look to appreciate it too much, to which Takeshi could only smile and shrug his shoulders. Hey, not his decision.

Viral always felt he had nothing to lose, but with this new development everything was suddenly pretty worrying. He didn’t have to worry about this kind of problem arising before but now that it happened he could only feel confused and concerned over this pain. If Vegeta had the answer for him then he had nothing to worry about, this would all be reversed; however, he had never experienced something like this before. Vegeta saying something was ‘seriously wrong’ made him frown, looking away in contemplation. It only sounded as if he was breaking down somehow, but how that was happening he had no idea. He couldn’t remember much or how this happened and he seriously doubted the Princes would know much about it, so the only person who knew how to fix it was left clueless over why and how it happened.

Looking to Shu for a moment, Viral let out a sigh and looked down at himself again. The kid was certainly hopeful and all, but he couldn’t find much of that if he was left looking like this and who knew what else had changed. His body was still pretty numb after having so much energy sapped from him and the pain still existed, but that wasn’t his worry right now. If he couldn’t get rid of the changes then he had no idea what he was supposed to do next, whether he would need to get them forcefully removed or a complete overhaul in his biology and that would require a big operation. Slowly rubbing his arms, he let out a groan and closed his eyes, shaking his head slowly, “This is…a disaster…” he sighed, giving one of the strange fins a pull as if expecting it to come off, “Just…get me up. My spine hurts like hell right now…”

Shu didn’t know what he could say to help, especially when he did try. He wanted to help but if he knew nothing about the subject then there was nothing he could effectively help with. Looking between Vegeta and Viral for a moment, his eyes soon went to the exit as a noise sounded outside. Maybe that was the ship, but of course it wasn’t as if he could think of it being anything else. Bouncing a little, he moved towards Yumi before looking at Viral up and down, nodding a little, “Maybe it hurts because of big fin there…ooh, and tail!” he spoke quickly, “We can be tail buddies if that makes you happy! For now…until you get better…”

Poor Viral, it was just one thing after another with him. He and Vegeta had made so much progress in training, enough so that he had near mastered one of his forms. Just as that had happened he had to have this mess, and goodness knows what the ramifications if it were. Yumi had faith in her friends that they would get this sorted out, but she knew too it wouldn't be easy. "It's going to work out though. Just because Vegeta doesn't know right now doesn't mean he won't figure it out," she said, trying to be reassuring. Nodding in compliance she carefully slung one of Viral's arms over her shoulders, helping the Beastman back up to his feet. Thankfully Takeshi had been quick about getting the ship, the sooner they got out of here the quicker they could start helping Viral. Letting Vegeta get the door she started easing Viral along, not in any particular hurry to get outside. Beside them, Shu was trying to be as supportive as he could be in his own little way. Smiling gratefully she nodded her head, "Maybe you two could be. Though his tail won't be there for long, Vegeta is going to solve this problem."

"I appreciate the sentiment Yumi, but there's no guarantee that I can fix this any time soon," Vegeta said, stopping as they reached the shuttle. "I don't mean to be pessimistic, but I don't know why this happened. It could take a day, a week, or a month to figure that out. And even when I know why it happened there's still the matter of fixing it, which could take even longer still to come up with. That's just the reality of the situation." And what an abysmal reality it was. Viral could be in a state worse than before for any indiscriminate amount of time, and the problem could potentially worsen over time too. Undoing the latch for the door he moved aside to let it fall open, turning back to Viral and the others. "I'm not going to stop until I figure this out though, I swear to you that much. This has been an issue for far too long, I have to work even harder to figure this out." It just wasn't fair for Viral to suffer, he'd done plenty of that already. "When we get back I want to bring you to the medical ward, okay? There I'm going to need to draw some blood and run a few tests, all invasive. I've got some theories I want to try out."

Takeshi could just partially hear what was being discussed outside, the wind drowning out the voices a bit. From what he gathered they were getting back to helping Viral, and in more ways than just training him. This was a really persistent issue, his instability. He didn't fault his friend for it, that would be wrong. But the fact they hadn't solved it by now was a bit bothersome, they really ought to have an answer, all things considered. Hearing someone step inside he glanced back, watching as Yumi helped Viral settle down on a cot. Poor guy, his life had just been utter crap for as long as they had known him. No wonder why he was so sour all the time, anyone would be after that. While Yumi was tending to the Beastman, Vegeta was coming forward, stopping just before the seats and gesturing to the main pilot's chair. "You're flying?" Takeshi asked, shrugging his shoulders before getting out of his seat. He had no issue with that, he could sit down and relax for a bit. Heading out to the back he sat on another one of the cots, leaning back up against the wall and giving a yawn. "Ah... Well this was a fun trip, we should do it again," he said sarcastically.

Viral was pretty fed up with everything that was happening; he would be quite happy going back to Earth at this point and going back to living in his room for the rest of his life. There was nothing for him out here anymore other than more strangeness and pains that he couldn’t find a way around. It was tough feeling like this all the time and if he could he would probably get some sort of pain inhibitor just to keep going. What Shu said didn’t help much either; he wasn’t even aware that he had a tail until he mentioned it. Letting out a groan he lowered his head, shaking it slightly before looking back to Shu, “Take my stuff…let’s just go…” Grunting as Yumi took hold of his arm, he looked to her as he was taken out towards the shuttle, finding it a little difficult to focus on the ground when he could barely see it.

Aside from the splitting headache, hearing Vegeta pass off Yumi’s optimism made him feel a bit down upon the realisation of it all. To think he could be stuck like this for a month made him feel a bit unwell, but he knew something like this probably wasn’t the easiest thing to figure out. He thought he had done so well for himself over the past while with his abilities, but this was going to put a great big dent in his training and he probably wouldn’t be able to continue doing it altogether. He would have to wait to see if Vegeta could figure it out for him. Finding it hard to have any real hope in a positive outcome, he looked to Vegeta and just nodded, “Just so long as I don’t grow extra arms…I don’t care…”

Finding this whole conversation to be a bit of a downer, Shu grabbed Viral’s stuff and headed on out along with them, trying to think of positive things to think about, “Byebye good friends Narbu! You all are very nice people!” Giving them a little wave he headed on out with the others, climbing into the ship as well and placing Viral’s stuff to the side for safe keeping. It was about time they could get back to some place warm, even if it was the interior of a ship. Letting out a sigh as he sat down, he shifted his hat around before looking to Takeshi, smiling a little, “I thought it was fun! Except for what happened…I had fun in the cold snow!”

Vegeta didn't mean to be so negative, but that was the truth of the situation. There were too many unknowns and questions to guarantee anything, regardless of what the others were saying. He would give it his best, use every braincell he had in order to solve the problem. Takeshi had done as he was asked and brought the shuttle, saving them quite the headache of having to walk back. Just as well too, Viral was barely making it out to the ship where it was now, never mind having to walk to it. With Takeshi whining about his hands being in discomfort he opted to fly, preferring to have the bit of time alone just to think. He had to have overlooked something in his research, the answer to this dilemma had to be somewhere in his work. Finding Takeshi still behind the controls he motioned for the other boy to move, taking his spot at the controls once they were open up. "We're going to move a bit quick, so everyone settle in. I want to get back as soon as we can."

Takeshi was more than fine with taking a seat, he wasn't overly picky about flying. Besides, he wanted to take a minute to speak with Viral anyways, about something serious for a change. Finding a spot beside Shu he settled down, leaning back lazily and closing his eyes. Now that they were out of the cold he saw no reason to keep on all of his gear, so one by one he began to unzip and take off layers until he only had on his snow pants and his thermal longsleeve shirt. Shu probably wanted to get out of his as well, so turning he smiled amused, pulling the hat down over his sibling's eyes playfully. "Only you could enjoy being in the freezing cold, you twerp. You think everything is fun," he joked, lifting the hat up and off of Shu's head. Gingerly manipulating the zipper he undid his jacket next, helping him slide out of it. Setting that aside he then lifted his undershirt off so Shu too was just in his snowpants and thermal. "We can play in the snow back on Earth, it's not nearly as cold there. Plus we can make snowcones!"

Before he got carried away with future plans he really did want to talk with Viral. Though seeing how much trouble Viral was having even speaking it would probably be mostly him talking and his friend listening. Feeling the ship jostle as it rose up into the air, Takeshi glanced across the hold at the Beastman. "Hey... I've been meaning to ask you something... You can sense Dragonballs, yeah? The ones on Earth I mean. So would you be able to sense them on Namek too?" After all they were the same thing, basically. To him it made sense that they would feel the same to someone, regardless of where they were made. Leaning forward in his spot with his arms laid over his knees he smiled hopefully, "Can you sense Namek then? I know it's probably a far way away, but could we find it by following the Dragonballs? That would sure as hell make our job easier. Uh, obviously I don't mean you have to do it right now too, you know? Get better first, that's more important."

Despite everything that had happened Shu did have fun out in the cold. It was always fun being out in new environments and it wasn’t as if that one had caused him any harm apart from feeling cold so it was alright with him; the only true downer, however, was Viral getting all hurt after doing so well. It wasn’t even his fault that he was hurting, he didn’t get hit that much while the only thing that happened was his strange changes and getting dived upon a few times. It was a successful mission, he thought, and hopefully the others thought so too. It was a shame about Viral, but maybe things would get better overtime. Smiling up at Takeshi, he squeaked when his hat was pulled down, his hands scrambling back up to his head and pulling his hat back up again, “But everything is fun! So long as nothing bad happens during it”, he smiled, giving a little nod, “Bad things happening are not fun”. Feeling pretty ready to have a sleep once he got back, he stared up at Takeshi as he ridded himself of his extra tops, smiling before giving a reaction to his proposal, “Snowcones! Yeah I’d like that!” he squeaked, not all that sure what snowcones were but still happy to hear they’d be able to make them, “I do miss Earth already…all nice and calm…do you miss Earth? I miss fruit!”

Viral couldn’t be bothered butting into anybody’s conversation at this point, his mind feeling pretty far gone at this point and his only true desire was to switch off. He didn’t have a lot to look forward to in the future other than tests involving opening him up and searching inside. Laying pretty still as the others chattered amongst themselves while Vegeta took off, his eyes slowly moved towards Takeshi as he asked him a pretty strange question. He didn’t know anything about that namely because he had never been off Earth before in a test to find Namek. This was generally the first time he had been asked to focus on Namek, “I don’t know…never tried…” he mumbled, moving his head slightly, “Why would you bring up Namek…or is it just for convenience…”
