Wolf headed to the back and just walked into a shadowed part of the room, vanishing from sight. A few minutes later she appeared behind tony, pulling her mask off. "Tell me everything" tony looked back and handed her a paper. "Short version. Now please tell me your getting sleep now?" Wolf shook her head and said "research" she went into her office and he sighed.

The next morning wolf walked into the tower from the shadows of the huge stair case after the main desk. She leaned against the railing and waited, still looking sick

Sparrow looked rather pleased with himself once they got to the base. "Ooh! Is someone getting soft for a girl?!" He taunted. Nate threw a quick ball of electricity at him. He grumbled something about not caring before he walked up to the mansion and back to bed. He needed his sleep. Badly.

That morning he went to the Tower. Sparrow was in school and so it was just him. He noticed her show up. He was expecting her to bail on him. "Wolf. Welcome to Millennium Tower. If you will follow me then we will start the 'interview'. It's a formality really. So Wolf what are your powers? I saw a few of them earlier. What else? Also are you okay? You look sick."

Wolf walked next to him and said "I'm fine, let's just get this done..." She followed him the. After a few minutes said "I can control the shadows around me. Make them solid and attack, I can travel using them and I can protect myself with them, and protect others if the need arise. I use the Shadow Plain to move around, and I can summon the Pack, wolf spirits. They will take time to explain"

"So you have a lot of shadow powers. Alright we could work with that." he said looking out the window for a second. he loved the view of the bay from the Tower. "So I really have eletric powers. Flight and such. It would take to long." He said smiling. yes he smiled.... He looked at her. Alright how about your past? Any skeletons we should be worried about?" He asked since most of the Group did have.

Wolf looked at him then said as they walked "most of my past will stay in the past...there's only one that I plan to take care of very soon...."she looked at him and said "which I should point out, anyone gets in the way of that, I will not hold back. Got it?"

She thought she was tough. Okay sure. He was not scared by her threat. "Listen Wolf if you are going on a revenge plot, don't lie I know you are, then you should get help. We have the resources to get this person who you are after. I know you are on a revenge quest cause I know that tone of voice. I to have tried to fix my vendettas. So asking for help is not a crime." He finished his mini speech. They had arrived at the training room. "Alright before you are allowed in we need to see how much control you have. You can either fight me or robots. Your choice. Both are hard." He said. Most people chose the robots.

Wolf looked at him, sizing him up, then said "I'll take robots...just so I don't hurt you. I would hate to break that pretty face of yours" She smiled slightly and winked, then headed into the training room. Her words had been different then all the other times she had spoken. She hadn't been rough or rude, it had been almost flirting. She rolled her neck, feeling her fever getting worse but she muttered "COme on, Wolf...pull it together..."

He was almost hurt that she had chose not to fight him. It might have been fun. Still there was that change in her voice. Was that flirting? She thought he had a pretty face. Well shucks. Pull yourself together! Hawk screamed at him from inside his head. She was nice on the eyes. He admitted to himself. He was terrible at picking up women as Hawk. Nate could easily but he had money.

He walked up to the control room over looking the training room. He spoke into a nearby microphone "I'll set the robots to not hurt you. They will attack but not to kill." he said pressing a button. Two nasty looking bipedial robots came out of a side door and looked at her. The first one charged straight at Wolf to hit her with its fist. Thing was that these things were none too bright.

Wolf smiled when she saw the bots and said "Alright...a real workout..." She ran straight at the bot, her speed shocking as she jumped up and landed on the machines back. She slammed her hand into the metel and her eyes glowed silver. THe bot started shaking and parts flying off as she controlled the shadows inside the robot to rip it apart inside and out. She jumped away and faced the second one, her breathing a little harder then it should have been. Tony's voice rang in her ear. "Boss, what's with your vitals? They are all over the place" Wolf tapped the ear piece and said "I think...we may have..a slight problem..." She ran to the second bot, needing to end the fight now. She pulled her arm up and the shadows from the wall jumped up and hit the bot hard, sending it flying.

Tony was running tests on her vitals when alerts started popping up. Tony cursed and said "Boss, if they are watching your vitals they will notice this! Your powers..." Wolf suddenly grabbed her head, pain hitting her like a frieght train. Her eyes glowed again and if either of the bots were still standing they wouldn't be for long. The shadows around the room suddenly shifted and changed, turning into huge wolves. They howled and attacked the robots, ripping them to pieces while Wolf was on her knees, holding her head. Tony was yelling at her, trying to get her to snap out of it. "Boss! Focus! Boss!" Wolf suddenly threw her arm out, right before the wolves were about to head for the doors and the window where Hawk was watching. They all looked at her as she stood slowly, breathing hard. "Enough boys...that's good..." The wolves vanished back into the shaodws and the room went quiet. Wolf fell to one knee again, breathing hard. She knew what was going on. And she was right...she was in big trouble.

Hawk had been watching freaked out now. What in high holy hell?! She was crazy. But he had to do something. Once the wolves were gone Hawk ran down into the chamber. He knelt beside her. "Wolf?! What the hell was that ? Are you okay?!" He asked clearly worried. He fired up his powers in case something went wrong.

Wolf coughed and said "Sorry...the boys wanted to have some fun too..." Tony fell back into his chair, sighing with relief. "Boss, his not a local cop with a crush on you. His going to see thru that. And you know that. Look, just get out of there and get back here now" Wolf cursed in what sounded like Arabic then tapped the earwig. "Shut up. You wanted me to have back up, so now you get to deal with it. Just shut it!" She pulled out the ear piece and threw it into the wall, the closest shadows smashing it. She panted, lowering her head. "No Hawk...I'm not alright...I'm in big trouble...you don't happen...to have a DNA scienceist in your group of super friends, do you?" She was burning up now, sweat running down her face.

Hawk looked at her. Whatever the guy had said it had pissed her off. Was it a guy? Well whoever it was it did not matter. "As luck would have it we do. Well sort of. There's CABAL. He sort of counts. He helped me with my powers since it was affecting my DNA. He is an expert geneticist He has a lab here. I'll carry you there. Don't try to stop me you are shaking. " Hawk said picking her up with ease and carrying her to the elevator. Once he got there he yelled. "CABAL's lab!" The elevator began to move up. CABAL or the Computer Assisted Biologically Augmented Lifeform was an accident. A doctor got hit with some science beam that forced him to be in a computer. He became CABAL to help the world. He was the team's science expert.

Once they got there Hawk yelled "Cab! We need you now!" He yelled. A face appeared on a massive computer. "No need to yell. I am here. Oh. Put her on the table. " the face ordered. Hawk put her on the table. "Now can you tell me what is going on? Hawk is usually my only patient. " He told Wolf.

Wolf looked at him and said "From what I can figure, my powers are getting stronger but my body can't handle it...for a while I thought I was just over using them but after a few minuts ago...they are evolving and my body can't handle the change...my powers aren't...purely genetic...they mostly are but this...something is going on and..." She gasped, grabbing her head as the pain came back. But this time she heard voice, hundreds on thousands of voices in her head. She covered her ears, a couple tears rolling down her cheek. "turn it down, Hawk...please...the voices are too loud..."

Hawk looked down at her. Nate took over. He leaned down and hugged her. No idea why. She seemed in pain. "It will be okay. We'll fix it. I promise. " He whispered to her. He turned slightly still hugging her. "Cab use the same serum you used on me to suppress my powers. Modify it for her. Hurry!" He ordered. Cabal's robots took a bit of Wolf's blood and mixed it with some blue serum. It turned purple. That meant it would work. "Alright here we go. " CABAL said injecting her with the serum. It would be strong enough to to suppress the voices and control her powers better. It worked with Hawk. Hawk let go of her. "How do you feel?" He asked. She should feel better.

The voices soon faded and Wolf took a few deep breathes. She sighed and nodded. "Better...thanks...I can't figure out why my powers are doing this...ever since..." She cursed and said "My tech guy is going to kill me for trashing that bug..." She rubbed her neck and looked at hawk. "I take it I didn't pass with that little show..."

Hawk looked at her. What was up with her powers? Something odd. He shook his head. "Are you kidding? When I did that test. I nearly broke the room. You did fine. I call it a pass. " He said looking at her. "Come on. Let's go." He said motioning her to follow him. He looked her over. There was something off about her. He could not say what.

She got up and looked at the Cabel. "Thank you for your help...you saved my life and I do not take that lightly" She followed Hawk, staying right behind him. She rolled her neck and said "How did you know what to do? To help me?"

CABAL nodded as they left. Hawk sighed. They reached a big room with a huge table in it. He sat down at the head seat. He motioned for her to sit. "As you can tell I can control electricity. " His hands crackled with power to prove his point. "A few years back I started to mutate. My electrical field was getting so powerful that I might have killed someone if I was not lucky. So in desperation I went to Cab. He and his boys managed to figure out the serum that fixed my powers. Like what it did for you. That's how I knew. How long have you had your powers? " Hawk asked curious.

Wolf sat down, facing the door as much as she could and see most of the windows. "Since I was a teen...but they didn't really show up till I was in collage when I met..." She stopped, her body stiffening. Then she got her grip and said "So who else is in this super club?"

So there was the mysterious man again. He had something to do with her past. "Well the club is pretty small at the moment. We have Sparrow and me. He is not a full member yet. Too young. There is Train so named since he hits like one. Super strong. The Ice Queen. Her powers are clear. The Streak. Super Speed. CABAL but you met him. Last is Betaman. Our 'leader'. Typical good guy stuff flight is his power. They asked me to recruit so I chose you. " he said finishing off the list. "So you want to tell me who the person is? The one you are after and I have to guess the one you met in college. " he guessed. He was curious.
