Well she's not better exactly but work can't wait anymore if they're short staffed at the VA...so somehow she's doing it. This is my third year doing NaNoWriMo and I know I need to try because next year I'll be busy with school again and probably a job. Last year was the closest I got to hitting 50k. This year I'm starting fresh with a story about six strangers dying and finding themselves on a planet where through varying opportunities, they could find a new life somewhere. So it's a sci-fi fantasy mock up of the afterlife or how I see it anyway.

People do NaNos with fanfics too and erotica...and other stuff. >___> But halfway through you can hit a slump and so far, I've had personal crap get in the middle of finishing, this year is no exception...but I don't wanna call it quits, even if I'm behind by like...10k already. I've never started off this badly though.

I think she's pretty sisterly, tbh. We just never got much of that side in the books. Hmm, I can't see Katniss reaching out again after Haymitch basically told her to fuck off, and he's pretty angry with Gale, so he'll probably equate that feeling to her. I think they'll be pretty strained, maybe still training but they'll definitely be either fighting during it or not speaking at all. Might be a good time to throw in Peeta and let it be known that he's there between them.

Peeta is frustrated with both of them and wants them both to fuck off, tbh! But he's too nice for that. I imagine Prim would feel bad for Katniss since she's obviously upset about Haymitch, and she'd feel bad for Gale because she knows he didn't mean to cause a fight on purpose. She'd probably be like, well what did you expect?? It's Haymitch. But yeah, she would be sympathetic and probably try to get Katniss to forgive him because he's her ally and all.

Peeta could bake them a cake telling them to fuck off? Mmm angry cake filled with tracker jackers.

It also stands to reason that as the Games get nearer, Haymitch and Katniss should be on edge so them both snapping could have something to do with that, not just Gale and Prim. But I can add something about Peeta and Gale trying to help but I bet Katniss would try to approach Haymitch on the train or he might approach her, considering all four are really stuck together now. Or Katniss would have some mental break down and Haymitch could step in, thus brushing what happened between them away so they could all focus on a new plan, enter Peeta?

I like that last option. I think Haymitch should be the one to approach her since he pretty much started the fight. And he'll feel really bad if she's crying or something, so MAYBE WE CAN GET SOME HUGGING! Peeta's fake plan for them, or the real plan for Gale and Prim? I was thinking maybe he could tell them at the ball sine he would have had time to speak with Plutarch by then.

I don't think we did? I think our very first plot had a fake plan. Yeah, I thought Peeta would tell them the real plan and then he would make Haymitch and Katniss think someone else just to keep them out of the way in the meantime.
