I already did. All it took was changing colors. I decided to keep the eye patch as his bit of color.

Also, you made a little mistake in your last post. The enchanter is Roman, not Caius. Thought I'd point it out.

EDIT- Well shiet it looks like im already bein bothered in the tent of minds and fortune. Im gonna pump out as good as a reply as i can before its too late but i suggest vanishing and going somewhere else if you wanna interact with someone else sometime soon.

Role in the Circus: Most trusted assistant to Madame Sombre - Ringmaster

Magic:

Clairempathy - The user can detect emotional resonances from other locations and people. They can also perceive emotions across species, as well as from the spirit world and (if strong enough) the realms of the divine. It allows them to understand introverts or discover if one emotion is actually hiding another.


Illusive Apperance - Most users who are not exactly combat savvy would use their ability as a defense mechanism to camouflage themselves, and even alter their physical appearance to look like someone or something else. (Flaw is: A perfect illusion is not possible) Tanner personally uses this ability to transform certain body parts into what the viewer would like or not like to see. For example: If he senses a child fears his appearance, he would transform or alter his face into that of a bunny or cute animal.


Reason for Joining Cirque de Noir: Selling one's soul for one's personal desires is noted as a sin. In the case of Tanner, this sin was to grant himself vision beyond his own. His desire was for knowledge, the greed of all human kind.

Past Life:

It was 1682 when Tanner - at that time known as Giovanni - came in contact with Madame Sombre. But before that time, Giovanni was a simple advocate of religious freedom. He was well known for his philosophy of the creation of Earth and how it came about in regards to the Bible and a higher power. His philosophy spread through the Providence of Pennsylvania, founded by William Penn at that time. But his written papers and extraordinary details did not make him a fortunate living. He survived off his own crops like many of the farmers in that decade - Tanner was not a farmer.

It was not until the near end of November when he met Madame Sombre, an older gentlewoman. After giving an intended speech about the possibilities of two Gods, Tanner was pushed away with booing from the crowd. Madame Sombre approached him at that time, noting that his downfall here did not correlate with the rest of his future. She lifted his spirits by stating that this one roadblock would not stop his studies and philosophical concepts. That he should allow his wings to spread and pierce the heavens as though they were at fingertip reach.

But that was not all she said. That day was the day his entire life spanned above the limitless. It was the day that proved to Tanner that his entire life was not a lie. He witnessed Madame Sombre do the impossible, granting him eternal life and a second gift - the gift to witness and alter a person's subconscious. It was triggered by the recipient's own eye contact. If one is to look into Tanner's eyes for a period of time, then he or she would open the door to him, giving him the ability to do as he wished. But the price for such a gift was to forever serve by Madame Sombre's side, giving his soul away as though it was animate.

Tanner's philosophical desires and questions pushed him to search for the impossible and give his soul to prove himself right.

They aren't just my issues. Those powers are godmodding/power play, you can literally take any character and make them something they aren't. Which in my book is bullshit. Why waste time trying to sugar coat it?

I'm just sayin, you didn't have to be so damn blunt about it. Coulda just said - "Oh hey, I think your characters powers are a little over the top, can you change em?" - Boom, that's it. Don't attack me like I'm doin anythin wrong. You think it's godmodding, fine. Just don't go off and use unnecessary language to get your point across. There's other civil ways to do it.

Go visit some stalls! Diedra just finished her performance, but you could say you were in there, or perhaps visit Caius, or drop in to see Roman's trinkets (Speaking of Roman, Diedra is going to give Roman a nickname ASAP) or perhaps go see the illusions!

Remember, Diedra is free to talk to at any time ever. -Ever-.

Or play with the pretty horses.

Well, I didn't see what they were before, but right now... I think they look decent enough. It would make sense if Sombre chose someone with said abilities to be her right hand man.

And everyone-- please get along. This RP is new and I would like for everyone to be civil towards one another, otherwise characters tend to take out their puppeteer's anger on another character. I understand that godmoding is most certainly an issue, especially in an RP such as this. We'll just have to work it out politely if it ever comes to that situation again.
