Appearance: Lannick is a slender man but not srawny or weak in appearance. He has a head of thick black hair, long and held in a pony tail at the nape of his neck. He also has a full black beard. His eyes are brilliant blue and very intense though they rarely reflect his emotions. At least not until he gets to know people well. His general actions and attitude bely his stoic expression but he still hangs onto his expressionless mask believing it fools people into not knowing what he is thinking. He dresses in typical robes, generally brilliant scarlet in color and tends to stand out among people because of it. He never minds.

Personality: Lannick is truly chaotic. He is neither good nor evil, and simply is. He tries to see all sides of every argument and yet never agree or disagree with anyone. He offers his opinions but thats about it, and if he strongly believes something he will just handle it/take the action himself if no one else agrees with him. He is the guy who will jump off a cliff if no one can figure out how to get to the bottom safely. He trust a lot in luck. He has a good sense of humor and laughs at most things, including himself, with ease. He is curious and adventurous and travels just for the sake of knowledge. He collects bizzare things simply because they are bizzare. This extends to his spells: he collects those that have wild effects, seem useless, or else he likes to come up with wild and unusual ways to use traditional spells. He is very intelligent but his attention span is limited. He generally stays on the right side of the law, except when he doesn't. He generally likes people, except when he doesn't.

Backstory: to come soon

Equipment: clothing (red robes, black traveling boots, belt with several pouches, sturdy weatherproof cloak which serves as cloak, raincoat, and tent or blanket all in one), wooden staff painted brilliant eye-smarting yellow...the staff is a simple magical item, the first one he ever made so he's really partial to it. It has the abilities of the “cantrip” varieties of unlock, light, and fire. He can unlock any non magical-basic lock if struck. At times in combat (entirely random) it casts a light spell on the target. At times, both in and out of combat, it randomly lights non-magical flammable materials on fire. This is sometimes very problematic and Lannick usually has a spell ready to put out any unexpected fire. He has a vast collection of bizarre spell components, herbs, coins, and various kick-knacks stored in the pouches around his waist...only he knows what sort of order they are in and in truth much of the time he just guesses. The things inside can be either extremely valuable or worthless, and often he has both jumbled together in disarray. He travels light, relying on luck and his spells to get him through the problems.

Abilities: Lannick is a quick thinker, and loves to come up with odd solutions to ordinary problems. He also likes to find uses for useless things. He loves all things magical and tends to focus his abilities on finding and collecting them if they are suitably odd enough. He is a well trained mage, despite his oddities, and able to cast spells with alacrity. He focuses on alterations and transmutation spells or anything traditionally considered useless while shunning the stereotypical staple spells that many people are familiar with. He can fight with his staff with enough skill to buy him a minute to run away and that’s about it. He also is a very genial person (except when he's not) and can generally smooth over arguments if things aren't too crazy.

  • Personality: Hardy is a person who is considered intelligent, but also a bit of an oddball due to her rather unorthodox thoughts and seemingly slightly ditzy manner. She tends to think about things that no one else considers and has a rather active imagination, to the point that she is considered "someone who has their head stuck in the clouds". Due to this she is broadminded and receptive to a lot of things, especially strange quirks and phrases that she often mangles. Despite all this, she is at heart a very kind and helpful person that does her best to help others. When in battle though, she becomes a lot more focused and serious.


  • Brief Backstory: Hardy is not a typical High Elf. Raised by a human warrior who stumbled upon her being left out in the woods, Hardy grew up under the tutelage of an independent and forward thinking ex-adventurer who proceeded to give her a foundation for strangeness that she would eventually grow into. After she tried adventuring herself at the age of twenty, the adopted High Elf then wandered the world driven by curiosity and wanderlust and accumulated a lot of experience in her travels- which were often more strange than the average adventurer's too to boot.


  • Equipment: Hardy has on hand the vaunted Mithril long sword [Al-Sana-Ralandi] (Great Forces Blade). Unfortunately for the magical weapon capable of storing the a bit of the kinetic energies of prior sword swings and unleashing it all in one big blast (capable of easily knocking someone of Hardy's general shape and mass across a big room with little trouble at full power), the Blademaster went and named the sword "Pushy". Hardy also equips the light armor [Viridian Shell] over tough direbear leathers, the former of which is enchanted to gradually repair itself over time out of conflict and the latter of which is durable enough to blunt normal arrows enough to cause just bruises instead of piercing through as in the case of more normal treated hides.


  • Abilities: Hardy, despite her slightly ditzy demeanor suggests, is a supremely able swordswoman that has earned the title Blademaster a few decades back. She is scarily competent with all manners of swords; and to a lesser but still formidable extent, spears, daggers, and bare-handed fist fighting. Her favorite blade though is the long sword/hand-and-a-half sword, which she is able to wield with either one or both hands depending on the situation. Her own personal style was created after extensively traveling the lands and learning the various basics techniques from schools of swordsmanship as well as cribbing things that she deems works from her opponents or fellow adventurers during her long life. Eventually she streamlined the style to become "fast, versatile, and creative", a free form school that has no set standard move and whose techniques revolve on basic yet unorthodox techniques that chain well together to perform punishing combos. Besides this self-made "Hardy School of Swordsmanship", Hardy has the ability to enter a sort of hyper-focused zen state of mind once she properly gets in the groove and allows her to fight with maximum efficiency and minimum loss of power. Both outside and inside combat, Hardy is incredibly acrobatic and lithe, even more-so than the average elf. She is also a capable forager and knows a bit of the ranger skills such as trap making, camping, sneaking, and cooking with wild substances across a lot of territories.

    Alright here's my tank! Man she's going to be fun to play.

    Name: Nalia Frostwing

    Age: 22

    Appearance:

    Nalia is a pretty enough woman. With wild blonde hair and silver eyes she certainly catches people's attention. She keeps her hair in a, as neat as its going to get, pony tail, while her bangs frame her face. At five foot ten she's rather tall for a woman, and for some men, and she weighs about 146lbs of pure muscle. She has a thin, graceful body with long limbs and fingers. She has enough curves to make her popular and a flat toned tummy. Her breasts are large, larger than she would have liked them to be. She wears a white full body suit, on top of which is a few select pieces of shiny, silver, well taken care of armor. Including thigh guards, boots that go up to her knees, shoulder pads, and forearm guards. And of course, she wears a white half cape.

    Personality: Nalia is a strong independent woman who don't need no man, and isn't really looking for one. Protective by nature and just about stubborn enough to out stubborn a dwarf. Calm enough to keep her cool in almost any situation, and keeps her emotions to herself. Giving her the appearance of a serious, level headed woman. Which she is. She's serious to the point of not knowing how to have fun, and her sense of humor is almost non-existent, side effects of being forced to grow up too quickly. Intelligent but not genius level, she knows her way around the battlefield but not much else. Loyal if you can manage to earn her trust, but that is a very hard thing to do. On top of being very untrusting, she's a bit antisocial. Okay really antisocial. She'll tolerate people, but she really isn't here to make friends. Give her some time and she'll warm up to you, but don't expect her to be chatting up a storm in between battles. Modest and the tiniest bit shy, she hates the parts of her body that draw attention. Mainly her height, odd colored eyes, and large breasts.

    Brief Backstory: To be revealed in the RP.

    Equipment: Nalia always carried her claymore with her, a beautiful, obviously well taken care of, two handed weapon that she wields like its a hand and half sword. Its made of high quality, tempered steel, just like her armor. She has a pack with her that contains a full water skin, flint, a whet stone, a packet of dried meat, a small money purse, a bedroll, a thick heavy wool cloak that doubles as a blanket if needed, and a small, silver, flask with elaborate designs on it that is always full of some strong alcohol or the other. Its mainly used for disinfecting wounds and not its intended purpose.

    Abilities: Nalia is strong, for a woman, for a man, for anybody. Its the reason she can swing around a claymore like its nothing, one handed. She's incredibly good at protecting people and taking hits. She knows how to survive off the land and how not to die in really, really stupid ways. Her mistrust and instincts can help her decide whether someone can be trusted or not. She's good at reading people, moods, and situations. She can keep calm and think clearly in nearly any situation. She's a surprisingly good climber, and as light footed as one can get when wielding a large sword and wearing armor. She's an absolutely terrible cook and when alone thrives off of foods that keep for long periods of time, such as hard tack and dried meats, so she'll eat just about anything as long as it won't kill her.

    Uh, Masaki? Hate to burst your bubble, but this is a European based medieval fantasy setting. I don't think someone with a Japanese name wearing a seifuku is appropriate. ^^;

    Um, I'll be going through every bio individually shortly, but there's a couple things I spotted that I'll quickly address.

    "Tank" is a bit too video game-y for what I intended for the "Class" field, and there IS a Japan-analogue in this world but you'd have to explain why they're in the Medieval Europe place and also pick a more fitting appearance.

    @Astarael: Hmm, my problem here is that he just seems... kind of chaotic with no real personality? Um, hmm.

    @Grey Star: Accepted.

    @Princess: Accepted. The class names are to describe their role, but keep in mind not to make them too "game-y".

    @Masaki Haruna: I'll wait until this one's been edited. You can make her from the Japan-analogue, but you'll have to explain why she's around and pick a different picture even still.

    @The Rider: Okay. On one hand, I don't mind party members being scoundrels, and everyone doesn't have to get along. But the party members have no not want to kill one another, and someone who tortures for fun, calls demons(though I currently need to figure them out better for this setting), and carries a knife they carved from the bone of a sapient being, um... Basically he's pretty blatantly evil and I'm not sure why the non-evil members of the party would tolerate his presence.

    I'm not saying everyone's character has to be a great person, but they have to be people who can't justifiably be killed by other members of the party.
