Which might be enough to nourish the Otaku. I've heard something about porn being patched in too. Though I really don't know for sure.

Steam doesn't even allow AO rated games on their platform. Though they do allow unrated games (including games which would likely result in an Adults Only rating if they bothered to get it rated).

At least they're moving in the right direction though by keeping Hatred.

I didn't hear the follow up. For anyone out of the loop: there was a game called Hatred that got ripped off of Steam Greenlight for its violent content, which isn't usually a huge deal but you literally do nothing but serial kill in the game. People didn't like it being arbitrarily ripped from Greenlight, especially since Greenlight is a system where Steam users themselves vote for which games they want in the store. Later, Gabe Newell himself stepped in and let it back on the store. Hatred was in a relatively good spot from the controversy hype. But then for some reason the Hatred devs wanted to get their game rated by the ESRB. Of course it got an AO, which Steam does not allow. So, really, Steam now has the option to keep it or remove it without getting any backlash. Hatred might be able to stay and continue as an Unrated title, or it could be removed for violating the AO rule. The decision would likely set a precedent for future titles. But that's the last I heard of it.

I never heard about the follow up AO thing. Though I just looked up on Greenlight, it's still there.
