This is a branch off from the other roleplay I have going on,
"Welcome to Meidiba. This is a town of opportunity. You can harness your skill sets of magic and lock picking at any open moment. You may also find yourself being the victim of a pick pocketing on a daily basis, so you might want to work on your reflexes. But have no fear, we're nowhere near a bad as some of the cities closer to the crag. They're all but foaming at the mouths, or so the stories say, we're not actually allowed to go any closer than the edge of the town. If you get caught going that far, boss man'll have your ass kicked. (Both friends decide to comment that nothing was actually covered) What? That's the true jist of it. If I didn't cover it, you'll figure it out soon 'nuff, trust me. (Friends roll eyes as they abandon) HEY WAIT!"
A town of magicians, thugs, thieves, and plenty of combinations of the three. Those that are wise to business and how the world works can live quite comfortably, so long as you the right palms to grease.
People you ought to look for:
1. The boss man. We have zero idea what his actual name is due to the fact he's been referred to as the boss in some form or another for at least two decades. He's as strong as he is merciless. "He's older than sin."
2. Lady Z of the rival faction. Mischievous, seductive, and a cunning liar. Her silver tongue is almost as sharp as her steel.
3. Roy Metezul... Metzulz.....but everyone calls him Bloodthirst because of his personality and the fact no one can pronounced him name. He is in charge of a group of bandits that gets in trouble with the boss constantly. He has his own section of town and constantly trying to get power.
4. Enigma. He has a name but no one really speaks with him because he is the liaison to the dark elves, and he does business for them. The elves live in the bosses territory closest to the crag, so they pay taxes and such, mostly cause they don't really have time to worry about it. But as the boss says, don't go trying to get more than what they're already being charged cause you won't come back
You are a character in this town. You are going to be joining in as things are reaching the boiling point. For most of the part, you should be a human character unless you have PMed me something with an incredible story. You post something here without me checking it that isn't human, instant denied, regardless of how good it is.
The crag is just as it sounds. A giant gaping hole in the earth. However, raw magic is seeping out of the crag and its created adverse affects on the people it touches. The people of this town for instance. You're as likely to have magic as a lock picking set. Probably have both. Magic is easy for people to use around here, though not necessarily everyone has to use it.
As was said, the dark elves live closest to the crag which makes them rather sickly in stature but if they attack you with a spell, you're done for.
The point of this little venture? Remember, this is the boiling point. The corruption from the magic is getting worse, it's like a sickness that sets in after awhile. We'll go more in to the symptoms once more people show up. But there just so happens to be another country full of mages that might just be the kind of breather people from this town could use- Lumoise.
I'll post my character in a little bit (A little being probably in a few hours cause it's too late now for me to think XD). Got questions about the story? Post them and I'll see what I can do.

5ft 5in, her eyes have been ripped out. There is nothing but ragged holes where they should be.
Name: Fox Ironwall
Age: 16
Gender: Female
Personality: Fox is a very arrogant person. She is loyal to no one but herself and she does what she feels she needs to do to survive, even if that means betraying her friends. She is very quiet at times, but when it comes to a heist, she is never afraid to be loud and obnoxious about the score that comes out of it. She never has partners in fear of them betraying her and she always keeps her distance from things like love. She is sometimes a cold person and it is rare for her to do something nice for anyone.
History: Fox grew up in this town not knowing her parents. She was dumped on the streets when she was only three years old and was taken in by a group of older kids who wound up feeling bad for her. They all stayed in the same house that she did and they were all thieves, as she grew up to be. She grew up being the baby of the group, always getting the smallest share from any big heist they did and always getting the crumbs of any meal that they could scrape by on. She didn’t mind because they were her family and she loved them like it.
That all changed when she found the necklace. A red and black choker necklace with a black diamond on the very front. She saw it and immediately she wanted it. So, in the dead of night, she stole into the house that contained the necklace and she took it for herself. She did not tell the others about it and as soon as she put it on, she began to feel different. She began to feel stronger, quicker, and stealthier all at the same time. She was fourteen at the time and she began to gain more heists, score more dough than any of her friends. And her friends began to get jealous.
One night when she was fifteen, they confronted her about what had been going on and they got into a fight. Two of her family was killed and others badly injured, but she walked away unscathed. She knew it was the necklace, and somewhere deep in the back of her mind, she knew she should take it off, but she couldn’t. That necklace was a part of her now and she could not bear to part from it. So, in the dead of night, she went away. She found a new place on her own and stays there now.
Abilities: She is great with a bow and arrow and very skilled at hand to hand combat, but when it comes to her, you don’t want to be around her when she’s made and has a throwing knife. The necklace makes her stealthier, so she is more silent and able to blend into shadows and darkness easier. She also seems to know what fight moves a person does before they even make it.
Anything extra?: She always has the necklace on. No matter what. She never takes it off.
