Or alternatively, consult the Necronomicon for dark powers to raise an army of the dead to write pages for you!

Welp. Needless to say, that post honestly helped a lot. Magnus obviously learned that random kamikaze with swords and such doesn't work. Hm. I'm thinking of fashioning a actual base instead of a cavernous one, perhaps something similar to the base in the old one but nothing nearly as complex? Hm. Suggestions?

Ok. So you get a secret hideout, a base, a lair. I think it would make a great torture chamber. What will Magnus do wit it? What went wrong during he last attack? The Purge showed up? Well, maybe Magnus needs some intel. Maybe he needs to pick a better target. Maybe organization of the oldbloods or maybe he needs to take out individuals alike Rebecca and Kami. What would Magnus do? Who are his current contacts?

I personally like the idea of an underground base.

That literally just gave me a brilliant idea to show the evil/backstabbing side of the government/SOLDIER. That and the part about guns earlier. Maybe an underground base could have been being built during the attack and it was nearly complete....Underground seems more of Magnus' style, sneaky cheeki breki m8. Underground it is. What kind of defenses and such should it have? Turrets like the old base? I don't really want to make it /too/ similar, but there's not much you can do with an underground base.

Ignore every single thing on that photo to do with resident evil other than the design, and even still the base does NOT have a underground railway... Name: The Bunker Description: The Bunker housed underground in a cavern a few hundred miles from Kilo Point. Devised by Magnus to be the most technologically advanced vampire civilization to exist, was recently completed a month and a half after his failed attack on Kilo Point. Along with his funding and some from a few...contacts, this massive structure was built, it is capable of housing thousands of vampires as well as various equipment. Above it looks like a normal cave system, but inside said cave system there is a hidden entrance that leads below into the sprawling fortress. The Bunker is fully equipped with camera's in it's entirety, the terminals being accessible in one humongous room filled with TV monitors and the like linked to the camera feeds. It also has several security measures in the very VERY slim chance someone breaks in, these include mini guns inside the walls, hidden by portions of wall tiles, each connected to their own power source in the case of a EMP blast it will be very hard to disable all of them. They are scattered through-out the base, most importantly in Magnus' Chambers and the equipment room. They have one flaw, that is, they are heat seeking. Basically if they send vampires in, the turrets won't fire as vampires do not give off a significant enough, if any, heat signature to be picked up by the scanners. There are ways to De-activate the turrets so that human's can entered if authorized, but only Magnus and the higher ups such as Hale have such knowledge. Mini guns(more or less): Secondly, if the mini-guns fail, a sleep toxin that will almost instantly knock out any human or weak vampire can be emitted across the entire base, but this takes time. It can also be emitted to certain targeted areas almost instantly. If Magnus manages to die, the base will undergo a self destruction sequence, obliterating the base, everyone in it, and the general area itself. Of course, Magnus has a wide variety of gear purchased and available to him and those he trained to wield it. It includes but is not limited to, Jeeps, ATV's, machine guns, pistols, etc. But, unfortunately, most vampires aren't trained to use said weapons correctly as their natural primal instinct takes over and they say fuck all to everything around them and go nuts. BUT, good news is, he has bulletproof gear for the lot of them. While, it won't stop a constant barrage of bullets or a sword to the face, it will stop bullets to the chest as well as stakes to the chest. --- An EXACT copy of the old base, sorta. Minus a few things. Such as, no AI. More will be explained of just how this came into play instead of RANDOM BASE NO JUTSU, such as the darkside of SOLDIER. If anything needs tweaking let me know.
