Hello, I'm from the thread "Myriad Reality. We've had an issue, in which the thread creator is no longer a part of the Roleplay. When the Roleplay was originally created in the Summer of 2013, DarkwolfX37 (who also owns "The World" account) created the thread prematurely, despite LegendBegins being the "manager" of Myriad Reality. Later, even though we opened to new members, DarkwolfX37 refused to change the first post to compensate for this, or other necessary changes. Further along, the decision was made that he would no longer be participating in the Roleplay, as he had become not only inactive as a roleplayer, but hostile to other members of the Roleplay. We fear that he may vandalize the first post, and possibly restrict rights in the future as the GM. Would it be at all possible to instate LegendBegins as head GM of the Roleplay? Every member of the group has agreed to this, and agreed to removing DarkwolfX37, if at all possible. We believe that promoting him to Co-GM would be inefficient, as DarkwolfX37 would still have the ability to limit rights in the future, once more GM rights are included, and would be incapable of promoting any other players to Co-GM. If necessary, we could arrange for every member of the Roleplay to post in order to confirm that this isn't an attempt to usurp DarkwolfX37, but a shift in power that we are incapable of performing. We don't have the permissions to do this, but my recommendation is to put up a new thread and link to the old thread if you feel you really need the GM powers to do something.

There's nothing stopping players from leaving and starting their own RP with their characters. Start, or continue, whatever the case may be.

The problem is, we have one of the longest RPs on the Guild, and we'd like to retain all previous posts. Would it be possible to create a new thread, import all old posts, and then lock the original?

Like I said, we do not have that ability.

You can try to asking Mahz nicely about it, @Etcetera. While the mods don't have the power, he does have such power.
