Late a night in a busy parking lot of a motel, the sign of the building flashed as the lights were beginning to fail. Police car lights flashed as agents and detectives were everywhere. A door to a room was left open as it was barricaded with yellow police tape. Steve Rogers exited his car just in time that his second in command, Halle Berry, began to run to him. "Steve, you won't believe this one. This one is just nasty", she told him as she was in her bullet proof vest with her hair pulled up in a ponytail. She just put latex gloves as soon as she told him and she threw him a pair.

Steve had gottena late night call and coming from his own office he knew it was no good thing coming from it. He walked toward the scene and to see that his friend was running up to him. Steve went over and nodded as he wore his bullet proof vest as well as a gun on his belt and badge showing he was in charge. After being told he nodded and put on the gloves and went over "so we got a way of death and time around?" he asked slowly, for this case he might have to bring , Thor, Loki, Sally, Stark and Tom.

Halle's gun was strapped to her belt as well as her badge. She may be a strong woman but she trusted Steve. The other investigators did have rumors that Halle was hanging out with Steve until they ended up in bed together, but as far as Halle knows, Steve was married. Being caught was the one thing that could get her fired. "Time of death ties it to six hours ago", she begins as she steps up to the entrance of the room, moving the police tape for Steve to get under. "C.O.D is brutal though", she walks inside, revealing two bodies laying on the bed. "It would be obvious that the C.O.D would be stab wounds to the vertebrae and the ribs", she snaps a picture of one of the bodies. Ksenia came to him as she took the wallets from one of the victims. "Names are Annie and Richard Smith. Married couple. Retired. It's sad", she read to Steve in her Canadian accented voice before she exhaled in disappointment as she looked around the room.

Steve took a deep breath as he took all of this in slowly and rubbed his head slightly. "I see, well if this is what i think it is then we should call the team and see if we can't pin point people they knew before. Ksenia I will need you to go and talk with people around and see if they noticed them being fallowed or people leave. Well the person had to get away some how. Check for finger prints and everything and then run them to Stark and Tom's Lab back at base. I shall call up Thor and Loki telling them to be ready to pull a night shift" He said and smiling gently.

"As sad as it might be right now, it will only be worse if we can't get them justice so now go on and do your jobs. I will get the Tech's up and ready for everything to come to the lab" he said witha sweet and soft smile as he left and called up the guys.

"UP and atam, Now we have anew case and everyone reporting to the building now. Stark and Tom get in your lab and be ready for DNA and finger prints to be run over to the lab. Thor and Loki get ready for a late night. Has anyone seen Clint?" he asked the guys on the phone. Thor shook his head gently.

"sorry no Sir, Clint is still unable to be found after his two days of vacation he seems to have dropped off the face of the earth" Thor said as he got up and dressed and went to the main building with loki coming in the same time .

Steve called up Salley as well "Salley we need you at Headqauters tonight sorry if I am inturpting a nice sleep for you. New Case"

"I'm on it", Halle responded as she began to take an ear pick and wipe a trail of blood from the wall. As a blood-splatter whisperer, Halle knows exactly where the blood comes from when it comes to solving a case. Never doubt her. She notices a doll covered in blood nearby. "A little disturbing", she commented.

Ksenia listened to Steve and she nodded to his order. She walked out of the room carefully so she didn't mess with the evidence.

Sally put her phone on speaker phone as she was listening to Steve and changing her clothes at the same time. "It's perfectly fine, sir. I can work all night if you want me to", she said tiredly as she grabbed her badge and her gun before leaving.

Stark walked in slowly smiling as he went to the high tech lab downstairs and turned on everything they would need as well as Emails and lab tables.

Steve stood there slowly and had started two pots of coffee as they needed other things as well as a drawning board for everything they would need to make sure that they had everything. Looking around seeing Loki, Thor, Tom, Salley also walk in and sat down on a desk and said.

"we have two retired people dead, C.O.D say that it was a brutal stabbing , Six hours ago" said slowly as he explained all the things needed from it. Thor yasened and got a cup of coffee and sat down slowly .

"Ok but thats not much to go on really" he said sipping on the coffee . The handsome Loki smiles walking in slowly and sat down as well "But there are clues in many things though unseen. I guess we will have see the hotel and everything of the hotel" said smiling gently. Thor nodded as he rubbed his head gently eyes closed slightly.

Sally and Ksenia enter the room with a cup of coffee. They both sit down just in time to hear the case from Steve. They both didn't have a problem with Steve being the leader. There was no problem at all. Sally saw Steve as a mentor to handle the team, but she knew better it was Halle that was the second in charge.

Ksenia raises her hand anxiously to get Steve's attention. Ksenia was a girl who can be easily be shy. As a loner, she doesn't have much friends. At least she makes friends with her team. Loki, especially.

Steve looked over slowly "Ah Yes Ksenia Yes?" He asked smiling gently as he looked at the girl to see what she had to share. Loki was thinking and looking through databases for the couple and seeing if there where connections and sighed.

"Scotch free, no records with the police. They don't have many foes or anything so we will have to just ask people. Maybe send Stark and Tom off to the Hotel for screening the place and seeing if they can find out whats going on?" he suggested. Thor sighed and crossed his arms gently thinking.

Ksenia put her hand down. "Um sir? Haven't we been to this motel before?", Ksenia asked him. "She's right. We have been there before", Sally piped up in her English accent. "Four weeks ago?"

"yes the same murder with the one that was killed his legs nearly detached from his body. Stab wounds as well Mark Bell was his name " Steve said slowly looking at them slightly "So now if the question is it connected or just random?" asked them slight.y Thor looked at him "I feel it is connected because it was a brutal stabbing in the legs and died as well" said slowly looking at the others as he stood up slowly.

Loki sighed gently "they said it was drug related though and closed that case a while ago" he spoke up slowly leaning back in his chair slightly looking at them slightly.

"I happen to mention that there was another death too", Sally spoke up. "A Latin couple were residing in the room before the husband snuck a cigarette in the bathroom until he was attacked. His wife, however, was bludgeoned to death while she was sleeping", she finished as she read the file on the couple.
