Bio: Aura grew up in a small town in Northern Texas, and her parents were as conservative as they came. An oilman and a shop-keep, she got an expensive education, but never managed to have more than a few friends until High School came and she overcame her own shyness. Though she'd love to claim her life in college, or at any point before in, was interesting, it was far from it. She had a conventional life with the same worries as everybody else, a good life with little to worry about. The way she tells it, her story really begins in the time after college, when she joined the U.S Army
In the modern day, women were allowed to serve in combat, and Aura was after a lofty goal. She wanted to be the first woman to get into the US Army Rangers, and so that was what she pursued from the very moment she enlisted.

She signed an Option 40 contract, and mere weeks after basic training she was in Ranger School. The odds were against her, of course, after all there was a reason no other women had made the cut yet.
But she did it, in the end, Aura achieved her goal and became the first woman to don the tan beret. And went on to serve two tours in the Army before she switched back to the National Guard back home, a very recent transfer of a few months ago. She found a job with the local police department, where her military expertise was sought for the local S.W.A.T team. As of now, she's never been called into action as part of the National guard or as a S.W.A.T member, instead serving as a normal police officer for the moment.

Feelings about meeting their soul mate : Trepidation: Aura doesn't know if whoever her soulmate is will understand her experiences in combat, or how they defined her. She doesn't even know if she wants to be confined like that to a person, in case they call her in as part of the IRR back to active duty
