I prefer complex, large RPs with a focus on magic and strong worldbuilding. I especially enjoy finding ways to maximize the efficiency or strength of underrated magical abilities.

The first thing you mention... well.. maybe it's better in the advanced section, but concepts set up specifically for worldbuilding tend to die.
