what all do we need to do if we wanna make an alien race?
just describe the race itself? would i need a history for them?

It would be highly suggested that you give them a history in case sometime down the road maybe we run into other characters of the same race or an RPer wants to create a character of the race you created, though it is not required. All that is needed is an appearance (a picture would be best but a description is acceptable) and name for the race.
