I've been having a feeling of hosting a slower-paced apocalyptic game of some sort. I'm thinking of a fair bit of zombies, because that's always fun, leading more and more towards a Twilight Zone-esque game tied in with a flair of the supernatural. I'm looking more for a thriller, with a good dash of horror, than hard-out gore.

I admit this would be my first time hosting a game, and I want to think this through before starting it to make sure I can commit to one first. I ask of somebody who's into such genres and happy to have chats about plot points, who will later be a proactive Co-GM.

This should be a High Casual to Advanced game, small to mid sized group.

If it's a slow-paced apocalyptic game, then the Metro series is best to take inspiration from. It's got action, zombies(?) and lots of supernatural events. Little gore, plenty of scares.

@PaulHaynek I'm not familiar with the Metro series unfortunately. Reading up the wiki, looks interesting.

@Fillet Dead rising is pretty slow paced or maybe a better choice would be Dead Island also Highschool Of the Dead might work as an inspiration perhaps maybe we could combine all of these things some how

@Billsomething Thanks but I've played Dead Rising and Dead Island and those aren't the themes I'm looking for. It would be more along the lines of The Last of Us I'm gearing towards, for example, with the zombies bit.

You toy with my desires and want for a realm of supernatural horror, action and conflict as a plot basis with a small collective of players. Pray tell what sort of events of supernature, zombies aside, do you intend?

Hey bit off topic but...
I got a project going on and was wondering if you would be interested in being apart of it?

Building a network of threads where characters can jump from one location to another, in my sig you will see a tavern and a market, would be interested for someone to hold and host a sorta wasteland where there might not be one singular plot or story but lots of little challenges and treasures available for a greedy wandering party.
Obviously you don't have to run every story that steps in there, just set the perimeters, guid them and occasionally host a decent event.

Thread is mostly made just seeking interested individuals.
