Hi. I am Minnakht, or at least it is the name I choose to use on the Internet, how's it going? I'm a newcomer to the guild, and this arena section piqued my interest, and so, a while ago, I asked if someone would be willing to spar with me to show me how you usually battle in here, given that you use the T1 system I'm not familiar with. @Rilla agreed, and so, here, after this overly long wait, here it is.

I hope I'm not committing a breach of some conduct I'm not aware of!

What sort of match? Non-powered basic human fisticuffs? In my opinion non-powered is the best way to learn the basics. Always post questions if you don't understand something, always punch Rilla in the babymaker.

Well, I made that first IC post. It sets up a non-powered match. Whether it'll be fisticuffs or not depends on... well, you guys. My character didn't bring a weapon, so if yours brings a spare and hands it over, it won't be fisticuffs, if he doesn't, it will.

You can have me, or you can have the guy who shanked me in the chest likeabitch.


You've mentioned your sporadic schedule, so it's honestly up to you. If you wish to give me your time to do this, I'll take it, if you'd rather not and let some other volunteer do it, I'll take that as well. I consider myself a guest/newcomer who relies on hospitality for now, not in a position to make demands. So if Rilla says no now, anyone else is free to just go ahead and make an IC post.

Lol . . . Taught by Rilla, that still cracks me up. If you are doing fisticuffs, Rilla is a standup fighter, so take him to ground or pick up debris and pummel him about the head until he stops moving.

Skallagrim, I appreciate that you'd put such hopes in me, but I don't have much experience in writing the in-depth fisticuffs I've seen you write in your guides, and my character's similarly green and rather scrawny. By which I mean, by all means, if I get Rilla down, it'll be good, but it's a huge if.

Is my introduction insufficient?
