Their ships wouldn't be nearly that archaic if they have knightmare frames. The series made clear Britannia is a league in it's own technology wise.

Cause they're ancient, hard to maneuver, and won't see much action anymore due to modern technology like missiles being able to tear them to shreds from the shorelines?

I said they're look like and be designed like WW2 ships, not BE WW2 ships.
