Maleficent made a small blush at the compliment that the elf prince said to her. "I would be considered a half elf, princeling", she told him before walking passed him in a few steps before stopping a few inches at his side, but behind him, facing away from him. "How's your Ada? (Elvish for 'father')", she asked him in a neutral, but unhappy tone. "The elves better not have harmed my daughters of sea. The mermaids?", she accused him. "They may have toppled ships to the bottom of the sea, but I fear your kind may have harmed them. Or so I heard?", she turned around to face him.

Legolas nodded once at her response, though stayed where he was as Maleficent walked toward him, only to stop next to him. The Prince turned his head slightly in her direction, his eyes glanced to see her despite him only see her back for the moment. She spoke about his father then about the mermaids. Legolas saw her to face him and Legolas did the same. "The King is well. Protects his lands and his kin. As for you kin, he spared them unless they harm his ships and his kin. For what I am aware of, there is a mutual peace." The young Prince informed her in truth for that is how it has been.

"Hmm", the fae gave an arrogant tilt of her head with a smirk. "With this feud, I wouldn't consider it peaceful", she told him. "You? Hunting me?", she noted to him. "Keep my son out of this", she told him. "We have had enough trouble in the past", she added before looking around the clearing as if she didn't want anyone near them. "And tell your father to stay away from him too", she clearly was scared for Loki to be noticed by Thranduil. The King had a taste for those of value. Loki was 'fairest'. Thranduil will be impressed.

The young Prince kept his emotions neutral, unknowing still why his father wanted her dead. But nodded. "Though I cannot ensure these promises on behalf of my father and myself." He told her. And he couldn't, the young fae may learn it soon enough and it will most likely not be his own doing. Loki seemed clever, therefore clever enough to find out all on his own. As for his father, if he were to report this, would most likely want to know about Loki to see what he wanted to do about him or leave him be. He could never swayed his actions.

"And, you tell him. I wouldn't trust Thranduil to be near him. Even if he wanted a consort", she began to say. "...it would be someone he is fond or intrigued of", she finished. She didn't want Loki to be a possessed object of the King. As the 'fairest of them all', Loki would be quickly accepted as one. She wouldn't accept such a position. He's a protector, not a plaything. "The King can spare him. It's only me he wants", she said before beginning to walk away. "Come. The sun rises", she told him.

Walking back, she sees everyone still asleep, including Loki. Kneeling down, she stroked his hair gently before kissing his forehead. Laying down, she closes her eyes and falls alseep.

Legolas heard her out, though wondered what Thranduil would think of Loki. But he could not keep such promises for it was Maleficent that the Elven King wanted, not Loki. Not yet. But Legolas followed the fae back to the camp where all were sleeping. The Elf Prince set his bow and quiver to the side of the rock her was leaning against at one point and closed his eyes.

Loki had slept peacefully that night not knowing of what transpired that night, but in his mind was sleeping peacefully because of Maleficent and Eric around him, alive.

Waking the following more, Loki woke up, opening his eyes to see everyone asleep, including his mother. Smiling, he placed a hand on his mothers wing and stroked it gently, smiling at the fact that her feathers were dry then leaned over and placed a kiss on her forehead. Sitting up, the raven haired Jotun looked around till her noticed something odd. He noticed an odd shaped rock. Loki went to pick it, though once he touched it, it turned into a crab and scurried away. Loki stood and followed the crab to where ever it was going

The crab made a small whistling sound as it began to crawl on the ground sideways, unintentionally telling Loki to follow. Maleficent, waking up, sits up and notices her son missing from his spot next to her. Standing up with the help of her staff, she tapped the ground with it so it made a soft thudding sound. The sound itself somehow managed to wake up the two men and the elf. "He's not here", Legolas commented as Maleficent shushed him and pointed to Loki walking away in the distance.

The crab moving on the ground, crawled from the brush and back onto the beach, still moving. But it soon came to a stop as a giant mass was in the distance on the beach. Parked on its side in the sand with a water's low tide, the black sails make it a ship. The Black Pearl. "The ship. It's here", Bard sounded as he, Maleficent, Legolas, and Eric walk to Loki's side to see the black ship on the shore. "Must be trapped", Legolas commented.

Loki followed the small crab, watching it crawl across the sand. Loki had not come to notice that Maleficent and the rest of the group had waken up and followed him. Though walking through the brush and making sure not to step on the crab. Loki stopped when the crab did, looking ahead to see a large black ship and her sail just a dark as she was. Looking to the ship in awe, Loki heard the sudden voice of Bard confirming it was the Black Pearl. "So means, Killian must be there." Loki guessed as he walked toward the ship that may have the man that they were searching for.

Bard began to walk ahead as Eric, Loki, Maleficent, and Legolas followed suite. Walking up to the large black mass of a ship, it seems to have gotten bigger as they got closer to it. Perched on its side in an awkward position, the ship never moved while being stuck on the low tide of the beach. Stopping, Bard's eyes trailed up the mast of the ship and saw a male figure with his feet crossed over each other while he saw in the crow's nest. Cupping his hands together to make a megaphone-like shape over his mouth, Bard shouted. "Jones!", he shouted to the figure and the perched feet were moved, revealing Killian's face over the crow's nest edge. Shutting the compass in his hand, the sailor grabbed a hanging rope and jumped, landing on the beach with his boots thudding on the ground. Wearing his black coat and boats, the pirate sauntered towards them in a drunken-like stagger, while swaying his arms a little, hanging them up halfway from his body. Before he could get any closer, the yells of his crewman drew their weapons and stood guard at the newcomers. Making an amusing yet smug-like smile on his face, Killian raised one of his hands up to silently tell them to stand down.

"Mr. Fandral!", he shouted suddenly as he sauntered towards the blonde warrior. "Captain?", he asked as if he was being commanded by a marshal before Killian stopped before him, towering him by an inch or two. "I thought so. I expect you can account for your actions, then?", he said to him dryly. "Sir?", Fandral asked him, clearly confused. "There has been a perpetual and virulent lack of discipline aboard my vessel! Why is that, sir?!", the pirate explained to him before raising his voice. "But sir, you're in Helheim's realm, Captain", Fandral told him in a whispery voice. At first, the brunette-haired man made a face of hesitation or dumbfoundedness before he grew arrogant. "I know that. I know where I am. Don't think I don't!", Killian defended calmly before raising his voice once again.

"Killian Jones", Bard drawled in amusement while he stepped forward. "Ah, Bard!", Killian turned and made a cheeky grin before sauntering over to the taller man. "It's been too long, hasn't it?", he then asked him in a casual tone. "Aye, Isla de Muerta, remember? You tried to shoot me?", Bard nodded in confirmation with a smug smile. He sure did remember that memory. The feud. Killian kept his smile on before it faded quickly. "No I didn't", he lied quickly, making Bard frown at his rival's stupidity. Turning to his left, Killian looked to his right before spotting a horned woman with wings. She was a beauty to his eyes. A fine lass. "Ah, love, out and about, eh?", he asked her with his smolder face while walking towards her. "You lend an agreeable sense of the macabre to any delirium", he complimented as he praised her beauty. Maleficent, not sure what to say or how to react, made a small and simple smile, then fading as soon as it came. "The smell of him sounds like he has drunken his way into delirium", the elf commented aloud, making Killian turn to him with a face that didn't look amused. "Legolas, tell me something. Have you come because you need the bounty for your distressful father? Or rather a father in distress?", the pirate scolded at the Light Elf. "Either one", he added. "No", the elf responded calmly. "Then you wouldn't be here", Killian told him. "So you can't be here. So that makes it that you're not really here", he added with a cocky smile.

Loki was in awe of the massive ship that rested on the edge of the beach and was surprised of her size as they got closer toward it. Loki looked from bottom of the ship to the top, his eyes catching someone up top. His neck craned, he looked to his emerald green eyes keened on the figure up there only to then hear a shout from Bard calling for the man they needed to find. Killian Jones. Watching the man grab the rope and come down with a thud made by his boots. Looking the man over, Loki looked at him but kept his emotions he might say by his body or his face, to himself. Though he could tell this man must have had quite a bit to drink seeing how he stood, his motions and his movements. However after hearing his crew drawing their weapons after being called, Loki felt his instincts to defend his mother and Eric, despite how upset his was with him. His body tensed and almost brought a dagger from his sleeves. Though relaxed a little as they stood down.

The Jotun looked back to Killian as he called Fandral, remembering him from his not-so-friendly years. It was interesting where this warrior had been and remembered the things the Jotun himself did then that gave him some amusement to this day. Though looked confused, that look being held toward his fellow companions and his mother, wondering what the hell was going on. Looking back to Killian, he wondered what this man was blabbering about that was so ridiculous. For once he felt bad for Fandral.

Loki though took a deep breath, regained himself from what was going on when Bard gained Killian's attention. Though now learning the two's relationship and their history which was slightly amusing yet a bit odd and concerning to Loki, wondering how this feud would effect all of them in the long run. Though he watched Killian cautiously as he talked to Maleficent which sounded like flirting and was about to have none of that. But knew all too well that his mother could take care of him and was honestly waiting for her to rip him a new one. But sadly it never came but at least Killian moved on from her, which Loki relaxed. Though wondered what Jones had against Legolas. He didnt seem like a bad sort, some troubles maybe but not bad. But yet this Captain of the Black Pearl was an absolute idiot or was just trying to deny the fact that he Helhiem. So with the roll of his eyes at the man's stupidity, spoke out. "Killian. This is real. You are in Helhiem. We came to get you out." Loki spoke out with some slight annoyance in his tone but spoke truth for he had no lie to say.

Upon hearing a different voice, Killian looks over to see a raven haired man wearing a black cloak that had some traces of dark green and gold. The pirate looked him over once, maybe twice as he noticed that he had a pale outlook to his face with green eyes. Killian made a face that shows that his brain was battling with something within him. To make sure, he scuttled over to Fandral, facing away from the new group so they couldn't hear. "Helheim, you say?", he asked softly to the blonde warrior before Fandral nodded. "Aye", Fandral confirmed. Killian then turns around to face the new group. "Have you, now? That's very kind of you", he said to them, but he was really talking to Loki. "But seeing as I possess a ship and you don't, it seems as though you're the ones in need of rescuing and I'm not sure as I'm in the mood", Killian told them with arrogance in his voice. "I see my ship", Bard recalls as he turns to the Black Pearl that was in front of them, pointing at it with a smile of amusement. "Right there", he added as he turned his head to Killian. He knew he was right. The Black Pearl did belong to him, and technically, Killian stole it. The rival turns to look where Bard was pointing, pretending he didn't see anything. "Can't spot it. Must be hiding somewhere behind the Pearl", Killian responded.

Having enough, Eric made one step forward towards the pirate as Killian begins to walk away. "Killian. The Dark Elves took Asgard. Sorcery is at the risk of ending", he told him as he started following him while the rest of the group followed. "The song has been sung. The Brethren Court is called", Maleficent added to the conversation as she too followed. "Leave you people alone for a minute and look what's happened, everything's gone to pot", Killian defended, not stopping. "Killian, the world needs you back something fierce", Fandral decided to join in as he now knew the problem that the newcomers were telling them. With this, Killian stopped walking, making the others stop as well, just behind him. Killian then turns around to face them. "Why should I sail with any of you? One of you has tried to kill me in the past and one of you almost succeeded", Killian pointed out as his gaze was on Bard. The sailor just kept his smug smile on. "Alright! Fair enough", Killian shouted out finally. "Weigh anchor, all hands, prepare to make sail!", he began to point out orders as he opened his compass. It spins wildly, not really pointing anywhere as the pirate makes a non-amusing face of frustration. "Killian, which way ya goin', Jones?", Bard asked him as he tapped the charts in his hand with his fingers with a smug smile.

Loki almost smirked after Killian figured out that they were indeed not lying, but the arrogance that he was hearing from Killian was really getting on his nerves and just wanted to somehow get him to shut up. Though seeming to figure out later that the Pearl once belonged to Bard and most likely still his, Loki seemed to get the idea and just left it alone.

The ever now growing frustration in Loki was now rising and feeling his blood boil, though calmed down when Eric stepped up and told Killian what was happening and the true purpose as to why they came for Killian and the Pearl with Maleficent speaking further as to what was going on. His attention now on Fandral who he was surprised that spoke up too, then looked Killian who was obviously just trying not to have them come along with him for one of them was Jones' rival. Seeing the pirate give up, the Jotun smiled in relief that they could finally get out of here. Though Bard was of course seemed all too pleased and gitty with making Killian frustrated. But when all was said and done, Loki followed Bard on board the Black Pearl as the crew and got to work with the operating the ship and orders were being given to them.

When they set sail and nightfall had taken over the sky, Loki watched as he saw many souls in small boats sailing all around them with lanterns that illuminated the boat and the souls. Loki looked saddened, seeing all these souls, some he noticed were from Asgard based on their clothing. Some he had come to know a little. Moving to the front of the ship to see his mother as if she was looking out. "Mother?" Wondering what she was thinking about. She seemed quite most of the day.

As Maleficent looked over the edge at the front of the boat, she couldn't help but stare sadly at the boats drifting by them. She felt herself get into some kind of trance as she looked upon the dead souls moving by her. As she heard footsteps approaching behind her, she turned her upper body to see her son walking towards her. "These souls should be in the care of Hades", she told him with a hint of pain and dissapointment in her voice. It sounded tense for him to hear from her. She turned back around to look upon the dead that drifted, looking away from Loki. "That was the duty he was charged with by the goddess of nature herself. Harmonia", she said to him without turning around. "He ferries the dead to the other side, my son. And every ten years, he would go to land and be loved by her", the fae began to once again rub the locket that was around her neck with her thumb. "But the man he was, has become a monster", she added as her grip on her staff began to intensify.

Loki looked to his mother as he stood next to her, hearing her disappointment. He had never heard her disappointment before ever since he was a small boy when he did something she did not like. But that was only once. To hear it now sent him on edge. Looking to the souls as she did, Loki listened to her story, what she told about Hades and his duty. It almost sounded like this goddess and Hades were lovers. With all he heard and how Maleficent said it, that she was sad for Harmonia, this goddess. He could not blame since it seemed that she respected the goddess very much. You could say Loki did as well without really knowing till now. "Sounds sad." Though Loki just looked on. Though at some point turned his upper body and head to look for the figure and familiar face of Eric before turning away to look back to the souls he saw.

As Loki left, Maleficent never looked away from the souls of certain Asgardians, Elves, Dwarves, and so forth. These people died for lots of reasons. Sacrifice. Honor. It was tragic.

Eric stood at the rail at the side of the ship, looking upon the souls with a sad gesture. Twirling one of the hunting knives that he possessed, he kept his gaze upon them.

Loki had eventually let his mother be before, just strolling around before his emerald orbs landed on Eric who was twirling a hunting knife of which he noticed all to well. He saw his attention was on the souls that sailed in the direction that they were sailing from. With a small sigh, his eyes softened before making his way toward him. Almost as silent as he walked to not disturb him, Loki stood beside him and leaned on the railing, his forearms rested on the railing of the ship. He wasn't really looking at anything in particular. Standing there in silence for a minute or so, the Jotun finally spoke up. "Seems the much sorrow has happened since we left..." Not knowing what else to say. Though felt he should say something else, apologize for his actions before they ended up in Helheim? He didnt know.

Eric never looked away while Loki stood by his side. He just stared into space while the knife continued to twirl in his hand. Hearing Loki, Eric gave a sigh as the knife in his hand stopped twirling. "It seems that way", he agreed as he looked down at nothing in particular. Just the water. "We'll get through", he said before putting the knife back in its rightful place. It felt awkward at the moment to Eric, but he felt that he was shutting his lover out. He didn't want to, he just needed space to think about how to approach him. Unlike last time. What was he supposed to do? He didn't want to hurt Loki if it went down the wrong way.

Taking a deep breath, he looked at him in the corner of his eye, then looked back at the water. "I'm sorry", he finally said after the moment of silence. "I should have said something to you. I just...didn't want you to be the second person I have to lose in my life. Ever since my wife, I...", he stopped. "And ever since you...died, I couldn't do it", he confessed.

Loki heard the knife stop twirling and then hearing Eric agree to when he said. Though nodded in agreement to what Eric said next. Loki felt a bit odd then, feeling if he should say something before the opportunity was gone with an unknown chance as to when he could apologize again. Looking at the corner of his eye to look to Eric, Loki though turned his head more when he heard Eric's apology. His eyes looked to him watching him as he confessed and explained. He remembered how he had a wife once but had a feeling what he was trying to say before confessing about what happened to the Jotun before. A small comforting smile formed on his lips for the raven haired male had scooted a little closer and leaned his head on Eric's shoulder. "I am sorry also. I reacted poorly, knowing you wanted to keep me safe. I only did not want to lose you like I lost my mother before, then my friend Diaval and then Selena." Loki confessed. "I forgive you." Loki told him, as he slowly searched for Eric's hand of which he wanted to hold and try to comfort him.

The wind blew as Eric finished his apology towards the one that was dearest to him. Feeling a weight on the left side of his body, he finally turned his head to see Loki laying his head on his shoulder. Making a reassuring smile on his face, the huntsman reached for the Jotun's hand, holding it in a gentle squeeze before raising them up so they were between their faces. Placing a soft kiss on the Jotun's cold hand, Eric kept his gaze on the Jotun while he moved his hand so Loki's hand was against his own as if it was a still high five. His fingers matching the once-fae's own hand.

Loki felt his Eric's hand with his, a gentle squeeze that felt missed all this time. Lifting his head, the raven haired male watched his lover bring his hand to his lips, a soft kiss placed which his smile grew and his heart beating with love and happiness that he felt once again. The cold was of course natural though noticed Eric's movements with his hand, his own hand mimicking and matched him in the still high five of which just tickled him. Loki said nothing for he just let the comfortable silence take over between them. Letting his concentration go, his hand lost the usual skin tone that Eric was so use to, show his heritage. It was just how comfortable he felt, glad they no longer felt so distant. Though made sure to not go too far for who else was around. Eric knew what he was. He remember him hearing about it the same time Loki learned the truth about himself.
