The Darky Ladies eyes narrowed at Rogrelg, recalling just how incredibly ignorant and foolish he had been during the last meeting she had with the Warchief about letting her people join the forces of the Horde. “You do not understand what you are tampering with Rogrelg, you should have no say in what effects the lives of not only my people but the Sin'dorei and the Horde as a whole. We will speak on this subject later, now is neither the time nor the place.” Without another word, the tip of the arrow that Sylvanas had strung across her bow started to glow a soft violet, emitting a black smoke like substance. Pulling the arrow back, Sylvanas spoke in a low, dark sounding tone of voice. “Let my aim be true.” The arrow was released from her grip and flew towards its target with unnatural speed and force. The arrow hit its target with deadly precision then the body ignited in a flame of the same dark violet color that had appeared on the end of the projectile. The Scarlet Crusader had a couple of seconds to think about what had happened while he panicked, bumping into others and almost igniting them as well.

Finally the man fell to the ground and his life came to an extremely painful end. “Weak and pathetic, what a waste of arrows.” Thought Sylvanas to herself as she strung a normal arrow across her bow and let it fly into the group of hostiles that had finely noticed their presence. Everything went flawlessly, everything expect one thing, and that was Kalania who was jumping around the battlefield. Every once in awhile, the Dryad would jump in front of Sylvanas’s aim, and the shot would have to wait a couple of seconds or be completely cancelled for awhile then attempted once more. “Be weary of my aim Dryad, unless you have a death wish. I would make yourself scarce around me when I am taking a shot.” An arrowed was released from her bow, it traveled so close to Kalania that the whistle of it cutting through the air would be quite audible. Only a couple feet away from her, the arrow struck a Scarlet Crusader in the head, almost traveling completely through his skull. Hopefully, the Dryad would take the Dark Ladies hint and use more caution.

Most of the Scarlet Crusade had died, but some were still alive and Ignorant enough to keep fighting. Moral had been shattered, death was closing upon them, but they were not one to surrender or fall onto their own blade. It appeared that when one died, the others went into a sort of bloodlust or rage that fueled them to fight harder. It was shortly after warning the Dryad about her rapid movements that Sylvanas noticed a Scarlet Crusader who was most likely the leader of both squads, taking her down or capturing her would crush the remaining Scarlet Crusaders will to fight. "Rogrelg, cover me for a moment while I take the shot upon their leader." Moving forward slightly, Sylvanas took a combat pose and then aimed very carefully. The arrow flew from her bow and arched slightly before striking the leaders left shoulder who yelled out in pain and feel to the ground. The squad leader reached over to the arrow but then felt her body go numb, and lost all control over it. "Poison used for paralyzing a hostile, used it on Arthas a while back. Head over there and see what you can do, I will keep you covered this time." Once again, an arrow was strung across her bow and she aimed, motioning with her head for Rogrelg to move. "Make haste Orc and bring her to me before they find out and move her elsewhere."

"You are not the boss of me, Forsaken," Rogrelg grunted as he did what Sylvanas said anyway, casting a spell of protection around himself before dragging the paralyzed Scarlet Crusader to the Ranger-General.

"I hope you don't hold the interrogation here, in the open. But that's not your plan, is it?" You have the power of Mind Control, I'm not forgetting that. It's perfectly possible for you to make the enemy guide you to the Grand Crusader yourself. If so, do it before my distaste overcomes my pragmatism.

Suddenly, the sound of cannons boomed from the walls of the Scarlet Bastion, none of them hitting the group...yet.

"Everybody!" shouted the Orc Priest, "inside the building! We have a small window of time before we confront the Grand Crusader!"

Archivist Galford had fallen by Rogrelg's hand, Malor the Zealous would be struck by a poisoned projectile - was that Kailana's work, or someone else's? - while Cannon Master Weily would be shot through with arrows - perhaps Sylvanas, perhaps a Human Archer's. The purpose of this was to exhaust the group, forcing them to wade through hordes of supposed elite troops. Now, Saidan Dathoran, carrying his hammer, was confronting a band that, though they locally outnumbered him, was tired, fatigued, and some who were wounded. This was going to be a hard fight.

As the battle progressed, Kalania actually found herself strangely targeting the same people as Sylvanas did. It was uncanny... almost as if they were working of the same battle plan, but it wasn't compatible for two people. The problem was that since the dryad was knee deep in the fighting, she was getting in the undead's way of shooting arrows. A thing that Sylvanas was quick to remind her.

“Dare not warn me again Banshee Queen.” The dryad replied, swinging her spear with force strong enough that when it impacted a nearby knight's head, it send the entire armored guy to the ground.” I've been fighting on the first line against the burning legion... I'm not afraid of you or your ilk... besides it's you who's targeting the same people as me...” She smirked, hurling her spear in the direction of a knight who was trying to flank them towards the Banshee Queen. Then she proceeded with jumping around to the side where there was quite the melee going on. Hopefully the undead elf will keep to her own area.

Kalania was still dealing with stragglers when the cannon fire echoed and the shells began hitting around them.” By Cenarius, such a bad aim...” The dryad stated as she followed the orc's order to get into the building nearby.

“I wonder if it's a real big shot that's going to show this time.” Kalania muttered, throwing quick looks through the windows. The crusade sure lived to it's name... they certainly had the numbers to throw at them and sure enough it was tiring, but it wasn't anything she hadn't done before. Now while she was waiting for the next wave, she had sat down, closed her eyes and meditating to both calm her mind and recuperate some strength. At least she was before she suddenly stood up and went to Sylvanas. The dryad had a mildly displeased expression, but it was something that needed to be done.

“I couldn't help but to notice how you fight...” She began saying to the Banshee Queen.” Our fighting styles are similar in some ways, quick deadly from distance. If we form up a strategy to cooperate, it we wouldn't be causing problems one to the other on the battlefield.” She stated, and looked towards the outside, tilting her head.” Actually it seems someone new showed up to fight us again... are they planning at throwing 'elites' at us till we die of boredom?”

Hallam grimaced in disgust, wiping his face with his sleeve. Some spells were better at close range, particularly the cold spells he preferred to use on their living opponents. That had the unfortunate side effect of putting him right up close to the fighting for a short time, and while that was dangerous it was not what disgusted him. No, a particularly beefy Warrior had taken a sword to one of the Scarlet Priests, the resulting arc of blood had gotten all over his face and robes. He'd actually stopped casting in his surprise, casting a Blink spell to return to a safe distance and hurriedly wipe the substance from his mouth.

He glowering at the back of the Warriors' heads as he felt a steady drip of hot liquid sliding down his collar. He wasn't sure which of the idiots had been the one to splatter him, he had been focused solely on the battle at the time, but Hallam was coming up with a plan of vengeance on all of them. Maybe turning them all into sheep after this campaign? Or he could piss in their healing potions...

His dark muttering faded into the background as the dark figure of Sylvanus came into view, a bright and colorful Kalania at her side chattering away. What an odd pair. He thought bemusedly.

Hallam did not know many of the faces they had encountered, but even he knew Saidan Dathrohan's face. Uther, Tirion, Turalyon, and Saidan were the four to found the Knights of the Silver Hand. It was almost surreal, fighting a man he had heard stories about as a child. They were going to kill this man, this great hero of Lordaeron. How had this happened?

But it didn't matter. Saidan was the enemy now, irrational and filled with hatred, whatever he had been now he was a danger to the lives of all of Azeroth. His disruptions of the fragile stability in Lordaeron and the unrestrained murder of all not part of the Crusade was a danger that could not be ignored. Hallam was sure the only reason he still lived was to distract the Scourge here, but now they were going to remove both threats. Another sneer crawled it's way into his expression. He would gladly blast this man to the Void. The things his Crusaders had done under his orders were as unforgivable as the Prince's betrayal had been.
