It is the year 2035 and there is a new way to play video games. Each town has a building that if full of capsules that people can go into and enter this digital world called Zion that is futuristic. Most of the student at Stevenson High School goes to this one building where they play the game after school. A group of kids meet online but don’t know who the other people are in real life. (Except if you want someone else to know, example a person who is a close friend). Characters can run into each other. This RP can have drama, comedy, tragedy, or something else; it depends on what you want. I would like to have a least some comedy in it so this doesn’t become a depressed RP.
Avatar world has a main lobby where all the characters can interact. There are missions you can do missions that you create and can take any number of people on them. The missions can be from this list (hunting, capture the flag, race, attack/defend, or a different one that you can create)
The main thing I would like is that the characters will develop and have a little personality. The story will develop through the characters actions and interactions with other characters. Keep this RP clean. (Language censored) Interactions can happen in the Zion and out of the Zion. I would like interactions in the Zion to affect the real world as well. For example someone saying something in Zion that only they would say in the real world.
Avatars have infinite lives but can only be killed if Okay by the creator of the character

Character card.
Each character must have two names
One real name
One name for their Avatar
Age: (between 15 and 18)
1 Ability (Avatar only) (try to make them different from other characters.)
3 Weapons (Avatar only)
Real life character has a Flaw that is opposite than their Avatar (stuff high school related.)

Background:
Stereotype: (emo/scene, cheerleader, jock, nerd, geek…..) this is what people think you are doesn’t have to be what you are exactly.

@Dmessenger Hello there, I have posted a character.

If I end up joining the next weekend (or if I'd join earlier that's when I'd probably start picking up to RPing) What are the limitations with avatars? (Though I would believe it's only human and other considerably close (like elfs) and nothing as crazy as Centaurs)

Just something I thought would actually be somewhat nice (and different).

Uh, where do we post character sheets? I've seen them in the character tab, but uh... Well, all the RPs I've been in require them to be in the OOC tab first. Then, if the GM approves, they're moved to the character tab.

That's how the Apply stuff usually works, my first reaction was along the lines of "People seem to PM them to the GM to keep OOC clean" but it seems (No accusations) there are people who put it straight in to the Char section.

I would actually expect this behavior in the Drop-in type of RPs.

Would a Shield count as a weapon in terms of avatar? just pushing him along for now.

Yes a shield will count and I'm OK with you posting straight to the character tab, until the rp starts, once it starts then people will have to pm me to join.
