Cress is 5'10, with a physically fit body, a trait she got from the persian side of the family. She has dreads up to her waist, and at times she would style it into a bun. Her style has a bit of tribal fused with modern fashion, usually of the 70's hippy variety, but more elegant, and formal. Varioous tattoos over her golden tan skin, and a distinctly cute sailor tattoo almost hidden under her forearm. Her dark brown eyes complements well with her smokey eye make up, and her lips are of a darker shade of red . When off duty, she wears little to no make up, revealing her true stoic beauty.

Siren's Song- Cressida has the ability to manipulate emotions through her songs, if pushed to the extreme, she could seduce, curse, or even kill someone with it.

Cressida holds herself with poise and class, one thing that people find attractive about her. She knows her way around with words, her eloquence with her songs win over the crowd, even the most cold and stoic of people. Her words would leave a mark on them and even without her abilities, she could touch their deepest desires.
She is sympathetic, a trait she learned to adapt from her mentor. People who regular the bar, their sad familiar faces alone tell stories of their plight, it was contagious and through her songs she would heal them. But sooner or later her downfall would be her Pride, and everyone can see it. She never backs down from a bet, or a challenge, and if the odds go against her, she would never accept it.

D E F I N I N G M Y P A S T

|History|

Cressida was born in a small town in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico to a single mother. When puberty had hit her, her siren abilities showed ,w/c she got from her mother, and her mother before her. She was part of a long line of sirens, usually visible to the female child of the family and tradition always expect the mother to hone and direct the daughter's developing abilities to perfectioon, albiet harshly. A siren is expected to be a master manipulator, as history points out, drowning helpless men to their deaths in favor for their own desires. But Cressida never had interest in such atrocities, or men for another matter, so at a young age of 16 she escaped her mother's clutches and went off to a world far away from home.
For 2 days she was homeless in the big city of San Juan, but a famous Jazz singer, J. Booper found her singing on the streets for money. He offered her work in an underground bar, and later he became her mentor, and a father figure she never had. For years people adored her voice and they would flock the bar just to hear her sessions. People fall in love, find delight and pleasure, in her music, they would forget their troubles and worries and in that way, the tiny bar became a haven for the lonely and downcast.
But when someone found out what she was, and was even labelled a witch for using "magic" to manipulate, they made an attempt to expose her. Keeping her abilities hidden from the world, her closest friends advised her to leave somewhere safe. At the age of 20, she received an invitation from the US and that day, she made a decision that might change her path, from being an artist, to a crime fighter. She heard about the Vigilante Village in the US and thinking it through for days, she thought she'd help a lot more people this way, if her passive abilities would be of any use for something as brash, and forward as the American Military, she thought. She would try either way, see where life would lead her this time.
