I have a few questions tho, since my character somewhat introuduces the concept of alchemy (or at least tries to), I did not want to include certain things without asking first.
Considering Ren did not leave his hometown hasty, it make sense that he carries some basic ingredients in his bag. Now, I did not specify what ingredients those are. E.g. Xg of this plant, Zg of that etc. I can think of something like that if you want it to be precise, but I thought I'll keep it simple and instead make up something as we go. Obviously I have nothing fancy in mind, those are "basic" ingedients after all. Maybe something in the direction of healing herbs, stuff to make a sedative or tranquilizer, perhaps some powders or whatever.

I also think that it makes sense for Ren to carry a few previously prepared potions or powders etc. around that can be used in certain situations.
I do not know the exact rules of the world you came up with, but I would take what is possible in our wolrd and maybe extend or bend it here and there (it is fantasy after all ;) )

Just to give an idea, I have thought of some examples:

Yep, I'm totally fine with all that. As previously said, raw magic in this setting is best thought of as the ability to manipulate energy and matter in small quantities in one's immediate vicinity. It's essentially what all fantasy magic is, just with an explanation and toned down slightly. It all start to make sense by the end of the RP. Until then, I hope the mystery will intrigue people, once the actual plot point is outed.

Just a small housekeeping thing, the current location we are at, Sfel, isn't in the main ring of citadels, it's an outlying settlement miles to the north on the coast. Eolas moved here months ago, and its docks are where the tavern we meet is.
Though I can't blame you for missing this as you'd have to have remembered the name of it from the OP, and tied it to Eolas back-story, so perhaps I should have made it clearer.

Kind of interesting that we have a fairly high proportion of tall people. I feel bad for anyone under six foot in the party.

Maybe the average height in Vrent is actually 6+ feet? Considering there's a majority Ventus. In this setting I'd imagine even being under 6 foot is quite short.

There was a lot of meta gaming on my part in that post, and god-modding. I want to refrain from doing it too much, but didn't want the RP to be us faffing around for too long with no plot! If anyone wants any edits/changes or chance to RP some of the transition from tavern to boat. Please just ask and let me know. I don't want to just drive this RP without you guys I want it to be a mutual venture. Just occasionally, I will feel responsiblity as GM to push it along, and now, getting to the actual plot, was one of those times. Looking forward to people's thoughts.

@Lutalica The Vidrils are essentially departments or institutes which run aspects of live in Vrent. You said Eolas is and ex Vidril so I thought maybe you misinterpreted my wording! Either that or misintepreting yours! Either way it's not a problem, I just wanted to make sure there wasn't confusion :)

Well, considering most RP's I've participated in haven't managed to get past the opening conference table, I'm not too perturbed.
