@Aisling "His heart is weak, and it might fail anytime," the father explained. "Not only if he gets sick... it's just that an infection increases the chance of heart failure."

"Is it weaker than before? Or did it just got more weak recently?" Mystique was trying to think of anything at all that might prolong Toma's heart.
"I heard of a case where a baboon heart was used but I can't remember much about it. It was in the newspapers at home."

@Aisling "It has become weaker from the day he was born, and it is constantly getting weaker by about the same rate," Dracula answered. "We have him checked here, in this hospital, every two weeks."

"Is true about being able to take cells and do something to them to make them grow into a viable organ? Regeneration is what I remember it being called. Would that be an option for Toma?"

@Aisling "That procedure hasn't been researched enough," the father said.

"So close yet so far away. Stem cell research is such a new study and just not ready for trial testing in larger beings, I guess. In class the professor was talking about mice organs that were replaced in mice which is why I asked."

@Aisling "That's how most people see it," Dracula's father answered. "They think that human experiments are worse than animal experiments... but we're all of equal birth." He played a song... The song

"That is true. I think that trying new things in a lesser creature like a mouse before trying the procedure in a human is fine. If the procedure worked in the mouse and there is someone who needs the organ like right away or possibly die, then I think that if the patient is willing, then try the procedure in the patient. But that is my opinion for what it is worth."

@Aisling "And what gives you the right to call a mouse a 'lesser creature' than a human?" Dracula asked. "To me, that is okay in absolutely no means."
"I'd even say animal experiments are worse than human experiments," Mihnea said. "We sadists have an easy principle: Safe, sane and consensual. I don't think that any of the animals that are used for experiments are consent, while humans who offer their bodies are."

"Perhaps it is because I have believed for so long that humans were made in the image of God. I am not sure about any other particular theory about how the world was made. That is why and at this time I will stand by my words. One day I might be persuaded otherwise, then I might change my mind. This is where we might have to agree to disagree." Mystique spoke firmly and in a cold voice.

@Aisling "Have you ever once read the Bible?" Dracula asked. "If yes, I can't understand how you didn't notice that it is cruel bullshit. It is only a small step until you hop on the train of those who think that being gay or a witch is worthy of death."

"I could teach you how astronomers, cosmologists and biologists think it worked," Ioan suggested.

"Yes, I have read the Bible and I have found some things that I don't agree with. But over the decades, men have changed the original Bible so much that I wonder how much was changed. Men who are heads of temples, churches and other religious places have done the changing and adapting to what they felt were the things that other humans needed to hear. So I have developed my own theory of religion based on what I felt was important in the Bible." Mystique replied.
"loan, I will listen to what you have to say. I am always ready to hear more theories about how man came into being. But as far as I can see, men tend to be cruel and want to dominate everyone else. It is a dog eat dog world with no respect towards any other person."

@Aisling "That is because we forgot to see each other as people," the father said. "We might have different skin colours, sexual preferences, speak different languages,... we might have different ways of thinking and acting. But we're still all the same. We're all human beings, with emotions and feelings."

"You are right about not seeing each other as human beings. With all of these video games that young people play and they seemed so real that I refuse to use some of them because when I had the helmet on, I forgot who I was. Once I remembered, it was so scary to be that into a game and not to know who you are. More and more of this is happening due to technological advances. We don't see what we have done. Drop a bomb and presto! The village is gone. Not the people. Not the men, women or children but the village. The impersonal village with no beating heart...."

@Aisling "I don't think that it is because of technology," the father said. "The Dalai Lama recently held an interview about that topic, and he said that it is because we don't live after the same ethics. According to him, those ethics should be seen as more important than having the same religious beliefs. He even spoke for abandoning religions, in case I got him correctly."

"I haven't heard anything about the Dalai Lama..... What I remember of the Dalai Lama is that he is a Buddhist but I am not sure. I wonder why a religious leader such a thing as abandoning religion." Mystique pondered the idea of not having any religions.

@Aisling "He's like the Pope for Buddhists," the father said. "A religious leader, yes. Until 2011, he was the political leader of Tibet as well, but he resigned. - I might be getting this wrong, but I'd say he wants it because he's a Buddhist. He doesn't care about having power. But he does care about peace, like me. And I see how religious beliefs can cause wars... even with Buddhists. In Tibet, the disabled are being offended and being spat at because according to the people there, having a disability means that you were a bad person in your previous life. And in Myanmar, there's a Buddhist majority and a Muslim minority. The Buddhist majority suppresses the Muslims..." The father smiled a bit. "Well, congratulations, Buddhist terrorists. You haven't understood your own religion."

"There is always something yet to learn in this world or life......" Mystique commented as she happened to think about the wand that she just got. She felt bad about going to Diagon Alley but how could she know that this would happen?

"I am going to try. But there is so much truth in so many religions that it makes me think that at one time there was only one religion. Then arguments set in and differences of opinions so the church split up to be two different churches." Mystique spoke more calmly.
