The dreadnought that the Mon Alliance had asked to be painted yellow and white had been rechristened the Templum Domini, named after one of the headquarters of the Knights Templar. Osamu was there, along with Jannilius and a full complement of Lyra Corporation troops that were mixing with the Pokemon, Digimon, Demons, and trusted humans who had been brought by the 18-year old to staff the vessel alongside Janillius’ troops.

A teleporter, safeguarded from attempts by enemies to hijack it via an elaborate system of DNA and Soul-coding (basically, you have to have both the DNA and the Soul of an individual in order to enter), had been installed, so that Doomborg can also come at his convenience.

Doomborg had just gotten the memo to teleport to the Templum Domini, but before he did he appointed Metalgarurumon in charge of the Planet Orre secret base. He then appeared at the bridge of the ship, wondering what assistance was needed from him. It was then that he noticed a four legged alien on deck along with soldiers he was not familiar with. “Greetings!” He said, giving a humble bow. “I am Doomborg, King of Pluto, Lord of the Dead, and General of the Mon Alliance. Pray tell, who do I have the honor of addressing?”

I am Lieutenant-Commander Jannilius Zephry the Third, greetings sir Doomborg. I lead the aliens that you see before you.” He gestured to the troops around him, a collection of different species working together. From Narn to Krieg, from Dorn to Tarviant, every single one of them were under his command. “I am also leading most of the mercenary ground troops and the fleet.” He bowed in greeting, swords clanking against his hard bones.

“And I’m Osamu the Second, Osamu Akiyama,” the 18-year old broke in, getting up from his command chair and walking up to Doomborg. “And, I must say, I am happy to meet you, Mr. Borg.”

Doomborg spoke. “Well, it is an honor to meet your acquaintance High Commander Osamu, I have heard many pleasant things about you.” Doomborg then realized that the ship’s weapons were being mounted in preparation for combat. So.” Doomborg said. “I hate to skip straight to business, but are you preparing this ship for an attack or defense?”

“Attack,” spoke Osamu, “the current battle between the Resistance and Reign is over, and we are preparing to take advantage of that. However, we haven’t chosen a battlefield yet, but are planning to scout several potential sites.”

“Intriguing.” Said Doomborg. “If we attack now, we will have the element of surprise. Though we should be careful not to attack too big of a target.”

“Indeed,” was all Osamu could say, as Janilius was quiet…

Sorry for interrupting but it seems that I wasn't informed or wasn't listening. Are we attacking the Resistance or the Reign?” He interrupted, concern growing in him. The battle exhausted the two but they were still powerhouses. The Reign on it’s own could conquer entire universes. Although he was confident his troops were better than the average Reign and Resistance grunt, it can only take one person to wipe out a whole civilisation.

“The Reign,” spoke Osamu. “They’re the more odious. That, and their own Demi-Fiend has a grudge against me.”

Hmmm, so we hitting them hard and fast eh?” There was a small twinkle in his eye, a proverbial grin stretching from ear to ear. He turned towards the crowd of soldiers and shouted at the top of his lungs. “NICO! GET YER FAT ARSE OVER HERE! INTRODUCE YOURSELF!” A Krieg man dressed in angled, thick armour, a gas mask and a jetpack on his back ran over to their location. Saluting and clicking his boots together, he introduced himself.

“Lieutenant Nico Von Hilfer, leader of the Orbital Jumpers, sirs! We’ll jump from orbit, land on the planet and catch whatever the fuck you need us to kill with their pants down, sirs! And, then wait for the army to arrive, I guess.” Jannilius’ proverbial eyebrow twitched at the coarse language and bonked the man on the head with a hammer-like motion. He shooed him away and turned to his fellow commanders, head tilted with a gesture of “what do you think?”.

“I like him,” said Osamu.
