@ZB1996 I knew I forgot to come back to this.

@Zhaliora I don't think Haesteinn would know much people, he only went there for a few years and, given how harsh the North is, it seems likely that anyone he'd met would also be dead now. It's possible though.

And I wasn't sure. I'm guessing a few years back, but it seemed unimportant at the time when his father died.

Was just thinking if Eira would had met either him or his father in her trips to the Hall.
Also depends on where the homestead is. If it's along the way or more remote.

@Zhaliora Well, I have no direct feelings towards either side. If you want your character to perhaps know him (if she visited the Barren Hall a lot then it might be likely) then go ahead.

A normal squad is between 4 and 10, so it's about normal size, but the more the merrier. xD

@Kho I decided I didn't want to wait for summer to launch it again. :^)

The idea was to go in, yes, but then it occured to me that we do have a midwife of sorts with us. I mean, it'd be hilarious if she just ran in first with a meatcleaver and started cleaving them up, but I feel like that'd be really out of character.

As for the inside of the encampment, I was thinking of some guys. Like I said ICly (or rather, Haesteinn said) they're brigands. You can know that OOCly, I guess. So it's not like they'll be armor clad panzersoldiers armed with MP40's or anything like that. They'll barely have leather armor, so we'll be able to win it easily.

They do outnumber us I imagine - I'd say they have about 7-9 people still in the camp (including the guard, who basically is a free kill). I think that's fair. Then Ellinor is also 'attacked' by a ruffian, probably some returning outlaw who happened to miss the rest of the people leaving, noticing only Ellinor. I'll leave his motives, attack and etc. all to @Azaria Blue to deal with.

@Azaria Blue You should .... do what you think is best. I mean, if you wanna do a 4-post-struggle with him that's fine. If you wanna stab him dead in 1 post that's fine. But keep in mind that I literally have no clue how excessive or how quick the whole palisade is gonna be - so you might be stuck doing nothing if you do it quick, so it'll get boring.

@Azaria Blue I have to say your post was more cohesive this time Definitely good quality actually. And I like that we have a character who isn't a warrior - this may be a war focused roleplay but a warband needs it's care given no? :)

I've not GMed as much as I'd like and it's always hard for me - I'm not good at it by any means so driving people forwards is always a concern for me. If at anything anyone feels like they need something to do, just give me a remark. I'll always do my best to tie characters together and form a cohesive story but I have a hard time noticing when people feel left behind or when their characters are not as included as they'd want to be.

@Brother Tumbo I was thinking it'd be best either if Keys stumbled upon Ellinor, or perhaps saw the skulking group head towards the palisade. Might be a way for him to join up with the crew?

So just to make sure, Eira shot her third arrow and then retreated into the forest in order to bring attention to herself, and Haesteinn and Genseric will use that chance to climb over the wall and ambush them?
