No, SAO shouldn't have been a fucking parody comedy.

It should have closely followed the source material instead of making it a shitty harem anime.

As for the plot hole, dual wielding swords is much harder than dual wielding axes, so it could be assumed- because the maker of SAO wasn't that much of a fucking retard- that the dual wielding perk only applies to swords.
