They live in a desert continent, a bit like Egypt. Most dracons live on farms or in rural villages, but they have big cities and towns too. Like most continents, they have separate countries. Some of these are independent kingdoms, others are city-states, some are regions occupied by migratory tribes. The eight most important cities run kingdoms attached to themselves. And warfare is very common in the dracon realms.
They are very hierarchial, with males being put above females, rich over poor, nobles over commoners. Not all of them are happy with this, however.
They usually live in houses. Poorer ones live in mud and straw huts. Richer dracons live in houses made of brick or clay. Stucco is also used. The very rich live in manors made of granite or marble.
As for their culture, it varies. It would be like asking what American culture is like if the 50 states were independent from each other. Imagine comparing Texas to Massachusetts in such a situation. Even united, it is quite a contrast. Divided, it would be more so.
We've already gone over how dracons dress, if memory serves. It may help to know that they are perfectly adapted to their desert environment, so clothing was not used for warmth or shelter from the sun. It may also help to know that dracons are not the only sentient species in their continent. Kobolds and goblins live underground or in small tribes on the surface. Dragons live there too, and yes, they are sentient.
I have a great deal of information on my DA account, under "Dracon writings." That may also help. I have much more to say here, but I am on my smartphone as of this writing, so it is hard to get it all down here.
