@Section Are there landmarks we can Google? Are there districts/neighborhoods? Like I said, I'd like to say "I am HERE." I'm willing to go with other places besides NYC as long as there's a map.

Oh, totally! There's the piers, the Space Needle, the stadiums, parks which will probably be forests at this point, lots of neighborhoods with various names that can be easily googled (ex: Madrona) and there's always the airport as well as the port for scavenging. Plus Bainbridge Island, which is a whole awesome place if someone secures a boat.

I like the outline, but some of it need just needs checked for grammar. In particular the first section 'critic' and an abrput end to Stevensons role when first mentioned :)

After that, this is fine.

The CS are for reference all in all, not to look pretty, but ease of read is essential :)


Understood. I am not a native speaker, so I am directly going to rewrite the whole section. It will prove a good opportunity to add further depth into Tyler's backstory ;)

Understood. I also prefer a google map. I was just looking to see if anyone wanted to create their own.

@Vermillion Also, isn't it kind of premature to say you've spotted @Section when he hasn't even decided where he is or what he's doing? I don't want to be insubordinate, but I think it's a bit rude to post to say you've met someone before they've had a chance to post in the first place.

Also again, do you have a character sheet for your people? I don't see a character sheet(s), but you're IC already.

Also also again, I can't really post until I know where I am. "An office building" is enough for a handful of posts but not an RP.

Myself, @Gunther and @Section have discussed a meeting between my NPC's and themselves, and from what I gathered they were fine with it.

I have not 'met' anyone, merely seen them from afar.

If needs be I can change the location but I think it suitable that a tank not be trapped in narrow streets or overflowing forest.

And again, as I said earlier, my character is not yet in the RP. Neither is my 2nd or 3rd. I will be playing countless NPC's until and perhaps surpassing their arrival to flesh out the world, at my own cost in time too, as there is no need for me to do so.

As far as setting goes, I'll be okay to post wothout an established one for now, as the most reasonable place for a community like the one I'm envisioning to rebuild is in the remains of smaller, more rural old towns. So that is where they will be.

It is, unless you wish to wait for a location specifically?

EDIT: Seattle looks like a good location - small enough for focus but diverse enough in itself and in its surroundings for RP expansion.
