She was wiping off her hands as she turned to him and said " my brother, kid death. Dad wants us to meet up in the morning and talk about the mission. If I'm up for it" she flinched slightly then reached for the tea
"Is it possible if I come along?" asked Rex. "Considering what happened-- the warlock, that burst of power-- I think I should be there. That kind of stuff... it's not normal. I mean, the single blast from me was equivalent to Kid resonating with Liz and Patty, and I'm only one gun that wasn't using Soul Resonance."
Wolf nodded and said "It might be better that you do come...fill in blanks..." She started to pick up stuff when a wave of pain hit her and she cursed, grabbing the table and holding herself up.
She cursed again and said "Its from the fight...I don't know why...something the warlock did...its messing with me..." SHe flinched again and said "I might...have to see Stein...at some point...if this doesn't where off soon..."
Wolf blinked then said "Now? Its late...I doubt his.." Another wave hit her and she gasped, holding onto Rex to stay up right. "Your right...this can't wait...I need the doc..."
Wolf fought hard to keep upright, but the pain was geting worse as they rode. She muttered "Rex...you better get checked out too...you were linked with me part of...the fight..."
Rex scooped Wolf up and knocked hard on the professor's door. Stein opened the door, smoking his cigarette. "It's quite late," he said. "You realize that, right?" "I don't care," Rex growled. "My Meister needs help now!" Stein looked at the girl, puffed a cloud of smoke. "I didn't know Lord Death had a daughter."
Stein caught a glance from Rex and nodded. "She needs help, Professor," he said. "Can you help her?" "Never worked on a Reaper before," Stein said. "I can't guarantee anything I do will be successful." "But there's a chance?" Stein nodded. "Then we're taking it."
Wolf closed her eyes, sweat running down her face. "You have worked with Dad enough...to know basics Doctor...and if this thing is a virus of some sort and I give it to my brother or dad..." She gasped again, holding her chest.
Stein set Wolf on an exam table. A look flashed across his face, but was gone in a heartbeat. Rex held Wolf's hand, but Stein shook his head. "Please wait in the living room," he ordered. "I don't want you in the way."
Wolf gasped again then looked at Rex. "Don't worry...I'm in good hands...I'll be as good as new in no time..." She flinched again, closing her eyes tightly
