Yeah, I'd say technical out-boxing would best describe TJ. It'd be unfitting of a gentleman to just go full ham. (Though he probably has enough raw strength that he'd be able to get by on full ham anyway.)

Fun fistic fact, the type of mustachioed man typically associated with the gentleman bareknuckle boxer of old would more closely resemble a slugger today as footwork was not as developed and the jab, cornerstone of modern technical boxing, was foregone in favor of using the lead hand to defend from and open up paths to strong blows from the right hand. Early rules also allowed for a decent deal of grappling as long as holds were applied on the waist or above. Anyway, thanks for the info, should get cracking on my guy.

Yeah I'll be honest, I didn't really think so deep about TJ when I was coming up with him. It was mostly just a bunch of general details that I figured I could detail out later as needed.

Nah it's not a dig against the character or anything like that, just a curious little thing I thought I'd share. I find it fun seeing how perceptions around combat sports/martial arts change or how they line up with actual practice.

I apologize to you all for my uncalled for absence. My colleague is currently being sued for malpractice for what we did during out trip. I'm being called as an expert witness. Hope things go well. If anyone wants to take the reigns of GM, by all means, you are more than welcome.
