Yeah, I might be bringing over a character from another RP as well. Not too sure yet. Looks good, though.

I was also thinking of creating a superhero RP, but it would be a lot different than this.

It would be set in an original universe, with inspiration from a series of games. It would revolve around a game show in which heroes had to do various missions and navigate the politics of the game to create alliances and get votes from the audience in order to not be voted off. Those that were voted off may still have a part in the RP, though I'd have to think something up.

The power set I really want to work with is two-fold.

The first level would be that, once the character makes eye contact with a person, they are able to take complete control over that person's sensory perception, being able to amplify, reduce, or even outright shut them down. Not just the traditional senses either, also the more complex senses like balance, kinesthetics and even their sense of time.

The second level would involve prolonged eye contact, inducing a trance on the target to control them.

@Thundercrash Damn that power is one of the most effective countermeasure to defeat Carmen! (the character I linked above, who has fast reflexes and can enable slo-mo for herself at any time and have better senses as a result - as a result she can dodge a whole lot of moving objects and accurately make hits herself)

Even came up with a clever/stupid superhero name for her: Remix. Because she can "remix" a person's perception of reality.

I'm planning on my character being a mostly normal. She'll probably have a normal job, no special shooting skills or hand-to-hand combat skills or any other special skills. As for powers, she only has one: she's really, really, really hard to kill. She's gonna have extremely fast regeneration powers, which heal most extreme injuries in a matter of seconds. :D
