Just a suggestion of course but perhaps Articles and Guides needs to be moved to the News and Newcomers Section? It is so far down on the list that it tends to get over looked and have some great resources that might help new comers and new rpers a like better to navigate the forum and find help in a simpler fashion instead of having to scroll down to find it. (I hate to admit it but I was on the forum for a while before I even noticed the section. Wish I had earlier, it would have saved a lot of wondering and questions on my part.)

I third this idea, perhaps something like a newcomer's guide PM or something like that instead of a PM just pointing them to rules and such.

Maybe also some bits on site "culture" since I knew I sort of went into that while talking to a relatively newer member.
