I might be a bit delayed tonight, working on a paper.

Also, having recently played Oblivion, I realize that magical portals are a thing in the universe. The Arcane University had them just to get between floors in their tower, and with the Frostcrag Spire DLC, you had a spire with portals connecting to every city in Cyrodiil.

Fair enough, take all the time you need. I realise that I'm not giving Ahnasha an awful lot to respond to, but I don't want you left behind if there's something she might want to add.

As for portals, yeah, they've always been a thing. I've just assumed that teleportation magic went the way of levitation and such since Daggerfall. You know, they were 'forgotten' in the lore or something since they were retconned from the game.

With portals like that, it's kind of iffy on if they are still around. Sure, they aren't around in Skyrim, but Skyrim also isn't the most magically inclined place. They only have one magical college with nowhere to teleport to. It could still be viable, but in this time period, would probably require portal platforms like in Oblivion. I don't know how difficult those are to create.

Also, I just have to finish references and formatting now.

Yep, I got this tricky algorithm working, which is nice. Now I've moved onto the next thing, which is a sort-of mini research survey on software sandboxing products. It's going to take a while.

I forget if Ahnasha has made any attempt to learn any Dunmeris. I think I remember Fendros doing so for Ta'agra, but I'm not certain if I'm mixing things up.

Yeah, Fendros tried to pick up a bit of Ta'agra. I don't remember explicit mention of Ahnasha learning Dunmeris, but she might have picked up a couple of words in Morrowind. Regardless, Fendros has made it clear what Calia has said.

I'm sorry that I haven't put up a post. The reason I'm up late is that it's the last official week of the semester and I have to re-write a lot of code to get something working. I'll probably be wrecked by tomorrow, so I don't know when exactly my next post will be.

I've been awake for probably around thirty hours at this point. The good news is that I succeeded in that task I was doing with enough coherence to make a post! Now I get to look forward to tomorrow, where I start the next-highest thing on my list of priorities for this last week of semester...

We can move on whenever you like. I could summarise the rest of Fendros and Ahnasha's visit and skip to departing the vineyard in the next post.

What did you want to move onto next? I've got nothing much to justify making a scene for visiting the temple to arrange the marriage. We could do the scene with Meesei and Sabine next, unless there's something else you'd want to do.

Also, I've handed up my last assignment today. I have a bunch of stuff tomorrow and the day after, but expect my posting rate to increase soon...finally.
