@BrokenPromise Lmao that's ridiculous! The worst I saw was some Christmas stuff in the beginning of September, but that was in the craft stores. A lot of crafters start that sort of stuff earlier to be ahead of their gift list. Me? I'm just gonna last minute wing it like I do with cosplay, lol. Everyone's getting handmade pajama pants this year xD

@BrokenPromise I can understand that. I'm one of those people who buys next year's decorations on clearance the day after Christmas, lol. Not much to decorate in an apartment. I remember helping my parents put up the icicle lights on the gutters of the cabin when I was younger. I sort of miss those days.

I'm also reminded of the year I went to visit Shoryu and spent Christmas and New Years with him. It was a really great month, I loved it a lot and every day I wish I could be back there. I hadn't felt so alive until then. The fact that I'm not there now bums me out.

Since dad died in a house fire during the Christmas/New Year season - sixteen years ago - you'll (Ailyn knows this already) understand that this quote here is pretty much the only reason I've ever particularly looked positively at this time of year.

I never believed in Santa as a kid (to the best of my memory) -- that sort of thing just didn't work on me, I guess. I suppose I was a bit jaded from the moment I was born, but it had more to do with the way I see things. Anyway, due to that it was just another day for me. Yeah, we got presents and that's cool, sure.

After dad, it sort of just became a bad reminder for me. That month with Ailyn is the only time I could really think 'hey, this is a good time of year'.

Boo, no more cheese!

Uh, after I eat, spent like the last 40 minutes getting it ready and stuff, had to thaw it out earlier. Finally made my plate and sat down. Think while I eat I'll touch up some things on my end for the stream, I'll link it here and in the status bar when it's live.

Fun, I ended up making some chicken that came out well, one sibling made some rice and another did some green beans, yummy!

They're usually considered a sub-group of reptiles, but birds are possibly their closest relatives -- yeah, they're weird.
