Fallout Inspired Nation Role Play:

There are various sizes of Nations here. . . You could have anywhere from a few hundred members up to a maximum of 1,000,000 inhabitants. Countries with more than 300,000+ citizens are likely Empires like the NCR or Caesar's Legion. If you have somewhere between 700,000-1,000,000 inhabitants in your nation, you likely have access to extremely valuable resources like clean water and electricity.

This is 2370 AD. 270 years after the Great War which irradiated the world, the ruins of cities, the destroyed infrastructure of roads and dams, mutated creatures and animals roam what is now the wastes of America, and the rest of the world. Most of the world is without the amenities and enjoyment of the past. Fighting to survive and hoping to live through the day and wake up the next morning. Or even better, to live into middle age without getting cancer or mutating.

Civilization is growing, and indeed, it is a miracle that it even sprouted from the ashen earth to begin with.

Notes:
For nation creation take heed. Clean water, electrical power are two enormously valuable resources. It's even better if you can find food that hasn't been contaminated with radiation. People tend to live around their 40's and maybe live up to 50 years old, although some people can live around as long or a little longer than we do, from 70 all the way up to their 100's. Like Fallout, there are ghoul like individuals who can live for many, many years, maybe indefinitely, from the radiation. If someone is exposed to enough radiation they transform into these ghouls, also simply known as Mutants. Too much exposure to radiation at the moment of Mutation transforms them into mindless, zombie like monsters that crave flesh of anything, be they bug, animal or PERSON.

Be aware, ammunition is plentiful, simple weapons of the past, like certain rifles and pistols are also abundant, but very powerful weapons capable of harming tanks, etcetera will be more rare. There are even weapons like lasers and plasma weapons. Exceptional circumstances can allow people to fly through the air in rarely seen aircraft. Among the most rare of all military assets a faction these days can have is an air force. Be ecstatic if you can find more than a handful of jets/planes in the air in working condition.

Nations Name: The Ordo Pallidum

Form of Government: Despotism

Describe the System: The Chief Inquisitor is the head of the Ordo, this man is elected by the previous Chief Inquisitor after they have served for 20 years. The Chief Inquisitor has total control over the Ordo and instructs them on what to do when; he also has a privy council who handle the day to day running of the Ordo’s bases.

Population: 3,000

Important Settlements:
-The Bastion, an old capital building it was the first place the Ordo settled and ‘cleansed’ of the mutant plague. It is deemed an almost holy location and only those who truly distinguish themselves reserve the honor of defending it.
-Eastguard, a former high school it is directly to the east of the Bastion, here is where new recruits are normally trained and almost certainly will have the highest number of Ordo Zealots at any one time compared to the other bases.
-Grey Skies, this is a former military airbase and is a prized possession of the Ordo, it houses a number of planes that, as of yet, are not working however the Ordo hopes to soon be able to fix them and take to the skies to purge the lands like angels.

Description: The Ordo was formed to combat the growing threat of the mutated and ghoulish that infest this wasteland. It is seen as being a lower form of life if you are radiated in such a way and in the opinion of the members they must be cleansed from the land. They take their teachings from a book known as the 'Born Heretic' which is normally quoted by Chief Inquisitor Leonidas Kalk during his speeches or lectures. They are a very ruthless band and travel across the wastes killing ghouls wherevber they can be found. Recently news of a nation made up entirely of ghouls has been arriving in Ordo territory and in preperation for this they are pushing a very heavy recruitment drive for more members as well as liberating a local hospital from bandit control to try and increasr the number of medical supplies they have access too.

Military: Your average Ordo Zealot carries with them a small arms of some description, perhaps a 9 or 10mm pistol and 2 mags of ammo as well as a larger gun of some sort. Most have a basic Service Rifle whilst others carry an Assault Rifle, their rifle also has 2 mags of ammo. They are also clad in a basic bullet proof vest and adorned with the crimson robes of the order that hang down them. The Ordo also has a number of machine gun positions built into each of settlements as well as 2 mortar positions in the Bastion. The more experienced of the Ordo members, Ordo Veterans, are armoured in a light metal plate. FInally the Ordo has around 50 vans that were armoured up to carry Ordo members across the wastes, each of which has a mounted machine gun on the top. The vans were converted by 5 mechanics the Ordo has who are now stationed in Greyskies and are working on the planes there. Finally each base also has a supply of RPGs in case of an attack from an enemy in which bullets are not effective.

Nations Name: Xeno's New Order

Important Settlements:
-The Black & Red House, A Capital building repainted black and red. It is the capital of the New Order, it was also the first place claimed by then President Xeno to start his campaign to purge the World of all impurities.
-The Octagon, A highly modern military base. It holds the joint chief of staffs for the military. It also works as a communication base as well shows locations of armies and of pre-war bases.
-Joseph Air Force Base, A major military installation in the New Order. It houses the entirety of the air force which consists of 10 transports, 20 fighters, 5 bombers and has some planes that need to be repaired. It also houses 5 jeeps and 3 tanks.
-The Bunker, A little retreat for all important personal as well as a safe haven if things go bad and as last stronghold if needed.

Description: Xeno's new order are the remnants of what used to be the United Federation of States. Xeno's men own the eastern Sea-board of the Pre-War country and one of thee most advanced groups left.What used to be a democracy changed into a military dictatorship after all the corruption finally turned into a war,Xeno's Order has access to many luxuriates such as clean water and electricity, They even have manpower and loyalty from their followers. They will not wipe out all the unpure but instead use them for slave labor. Xeno's army does not wish to stand against others it only wishes to bring peace. If they must d it by force so be it.
