She looked at him, thinking then said "Not much. Apart from the cut on my hand. Why?"

"That's odd," remarked Stein. "I'd expect something like that from greater blood loss."

She looked at him and said "what do you mean? Expect what?"

"This amount of... what's the word I'm looking for?"
"Power drainage?" Rex suggested.
"Yeah, that," said Stein.

She thought, then looked at her hand and said "maybe....kid, sense my aura" kid looked at at and said "what?" "Sense my aura, look at it. It can tell if I lost more then I think I did"

Rex sniffed. "It seems like a good idea," he said.

Kid closed his eyes then opened them again, a glow there now. Then he said. "Whoa....doc how much blood do you think she lost?"

"From the power drained," said Stein. "Maybe almost a full cup. Why?"

Kid looked at him and held up three fingers. Wolf blinked then held her head, the pain coming back.

Rex frowned. "Wolf..." he murmured. "Do you want me to sing again?"

Kid looked at stein and said "why did she lose so much blood? What does this mean?" Wolf shook her head, but grabbed his hand as another wave hit her

"I think..." said Rex, "... I drank it in weapon form." He wasn't proud, but he recalled tasting blood.

Kid looked at him and said " what?" Wolf muttered "doc...give me good news..."

"That's how I got ppowered up," said Rex.
"You should be better in a couple days," said Stein.

Kid moved to speak and wolf held up her hand. "Kid....shut up. So what's the bad news doc? And how did I use three cups of blood?"

"Despite being a Holy Weapon, Rex seems to exhibit a slight vampiric tendency. Fascinating."

Kid looked at Rex and moved forward but wolf held up her hand again. "Kid, shut it. I don't want to hear it. I will be fine...just need to be prepared"

"By the way, is Liz around?" Rex asked, purposefully jumping off topic.

Liz raised her hand and patted him on the head from behind. "I'm right here, dude" Patty said "And I am here too!" Wolf looked at Stein and said "Thanks doc...did you learn anything else from my blood?"

"Other than that you truly are Lord Death's daughter, nothing."
"So, Liz, you busy tomorrow night? You up for coffee?" Rex asked.
