So I've been thinking about this for awhile now, but I didn't know how to make this work. This is supposed to be a "If the American McGee' s Alice: Madness Returns game was multiplayer" Scenario, like if Alice wasn't the only survivor of the fire or if wonderland had others like Alice, coming and going out of wonderland.

It takes place after the events of the first game, Alice and a few others had been released from the Rutledge Asylum after a year passed and put in Houndsditch Home for Wayward Youth where Prof. Angus Bumby works to "cure" the inhabitants there.
The Rutledge group were a challenge to cure, always having nightmarish visions of their safe haven becoming a hellish world.

One day, they were assigned after a session to get medicine from Mrs. Pris Witless. Getting sidetracked by a cat and almost attacked by monstrous Jabberwock-headed creatures, they finally encounter the nurse and meet up with her on the rooftops, Pris then turns into one of the creatures from before and starts to go after them. Suddenly, the earth beneath them gave out, and they all fell back to wonderland.

And that's how their new adventure begins...

In this RP, you can either be an "Alice", a wonderland inhabitant, or a villain/mini boss. Not one of the cannon characters (only if you're a Co-GM)

So there could arguably be more than once "Alice"-type character?
But what about your comment 'not one of the canon characters (only if you're* a co-Gm)? Would everyone else have to play parodied versions of canon characters?

If that is the case, I may have an idea for 'the rabbit'.

The phrasing may be a bit unclear in that regard, otherwise I am certainly interested.

Aight. I've never played the games but I know about them enough that I'm pretty sure I'll get by, but can I get a timeframe? Like, what year is it?

I would imagine it as individuals entrapped in a psych ward with similar dementia that feeds into the lifeblood that made 'wonderland'.
'Alice'-type characters would be ensnared by the paranormality that the realm's magic created, parasitically depending on the 'Alice'-types for strength to exist...though likely exploited by interior nefarious means. While the actual Alice may no longer be a contributing factor, there could be candidates that could be reached through dream-states in order to pull them into the madness which cements their place as new 'Alice's.

This is purely speculation, of course. Just spitballing ideas to rationalize more than one 'Alice'-type character, should people want to play as them.

EDIT: However, the more contribution there is to a creation, the more the fears and strengths come out. Feeding off of what they need, the forces of antagonism grow stronger with every 'Alice'-type pulled into wonderland.

I took the "be an Alice" comment as in the Alice isn't the only Alice. It could that any human girl that falls into Wonderland is called an Alice (as in a race name), named after the first Alice.

If I say Alice one more time, I swear to god.

How much knowledge of Alice: Madness Returns shall the players need to have?

@Briza they need to have at least played half of the game to not get spoiled..unless you don't care for spoilers, then knock yourself out.
