~ Chapter 77 ~

Jip And Gib, The Perfect Storm


Jip fired two of his guns, one at each Jeff and Jenso. One fired an icey shot at Jenso, and the other fired an earthy shot at Jeff, all while Gib stood his ground and pumped out poison.

Jenso launched a flame ball at Jip's ice shot in an attempt to stop the attack, and dashed towards Gib. He began channeling flames in his hands and extended his left arm, feigning as if he was about to launch a flame ball at Gib's face in order to throw Jip off. Instead, he dashed towards Gib's left while his hands were coated in flames. He thrusted his hands forwards and attempted to weld two of the vents on Gib's left side.

Jip's ice bullet was entirely destroyed by Jenso's attack, but that didn't bother him too much. He dew a different gun, as well as his catalyst gun from earlier, and fired a plasma shot at Jenso as he extended his hand, aiming to cut off the fireball. But the plasma shot merely whizzed through the air and hit a nearby building, melting a hole in it. As Jenso dashed forward, Jip felt tricked, and cursed under his breath before running to intercept. He was surprisingly agile, but could only barely keep up with Jenso, firing another plasma shot at him as he reached towards Gib's vents. He then fired a catalyst shot into his plasma shot as it was a few feet away from Jenso, and caused it to freeze in midair for a second, before launching multiple plasma lasers towards Jenso in a spray-like fashion.

"Were gonna die?" Jeff said mockingly as he went to detonate the sticky bomb on Gibs leg, timing it so that it would keep Jenso out of the blast radius. "How can you say that when you don't have a leg to stand on!"
Jeff contenplated his bad pun for a moment before realizing he could have worded it better. Doing his best to just roll with it he then proceeds to try to counter the bullets fired with his wind blades launched from several kicks and charged up with ki.
'That blast is designed with the mindset of being able to do some nice damage to metalic objects. Hopefully it will do the trick and get Jenso an opening' he thought to himself.

Gib lurched back as the explosion. Bent his leg casing, but he stood his ground. Rather than reacting though, he sinply stood still and maintained his smoke. But Jenso's welding Job would be effective, but Jib's support was dangerous, and Jeff's Ki would not be able to cut off his attacks.

'So much for that though..' he thought to himself as he tried his best to calm his emotions for a moment he was gonna need more power dor this and thus it would require his full focus, at least for a moment. 'Jenso is gonna have tod dodge those few on his own but I can at least make all further attacks turn to my focus.'
With a amazing burst of speed that lasted for just an instant, Jeff fired himself feet first at Jib surrounding himself with a shield of huricane level wind as he did so and attepted to knock him flying while stabbing him with metal spikes that were on his boots. 'Lets see how he handles wind sage in bullet form.'

Jenso glared at Jip's incoming bullets and created a flame whip, which he held in his left hand. He attempted to get the end of the whip stuck in one of the vents near him, and dashed away from Gib's Left side past his back and around him while distancing himself and moving out of the way of the incoming plasma shot that headed for him. He took note of the incoming spray of shots that followed, coating his right fist in Ki as they came close while still holding onto the flame whip with his left.

He swatted at some of the shots that got near him with his right hand as he circled around Geb, hoping to deflect some of them. He attempted to wrap his flame whip around Gib's torso as he ran around him in circles, hoping the whip would be able to weld the vents on him.

Jip turned to Jeff wide eyed, and spun to shoot him, but before he could react, his gun went flying out his hands and he fell to one knee as hurricane force winds battered him down. Them he felt it, two sharp pains in his chest as Jeff's stomped him clear across the battlefield and into one of the thick metal bars in the Ordo gate. His back snapped, and he fell to the ground, his guns scattering as he flew.

Gib turned briefly, but noticed that his vents had been melted shut. The smoke began to shake in midair, but didn't disappear. Rather, his magnetic control on it had been removed. Gib grabbed Jenso's flame whip, but it melted through his gloves immediately. "What?? These guys.." Gib struggled but his arms began to shut down as the circuits burned, "...they're on a whole other level..!"

Jenso glared at Gib, and tied a knot in the flame whip as it had been wrapped around him. He punched at Gib's head with his left fist, aiming to knock the man out.

"Whoops... I forget that power tends to have the ability to overdo it.." Jeff said as the shock of just how much damage that did caused him to revert to normal. He then turned his attention to the nanocreatures that now were to longer under that guys control. He descided to take advantage of it and use his wind powers to collect them all onto a contained sphere. "Ah much as I would love to take these back to the lab for study, I know I lack the time for that", Jeff said as he prepared to launch the nano sphere elsewhere.

Gib's helmet surprisingly protected him, and the man merely fell over, onto his back. He struggled to free himself but couldn't really move at all. "Sera will make short work of you interlopers!" He insisted, looking back over to Jip. Jip looked as if he'd been outright killed by Jeff's attack. Gib cursed long and wheezing under his breath.

Jenso sighed in relief as Jeff contained the nanobots, as he failed to knock the man out. He attempted to yank Gib's helmet off, and looked down at him. "We're going to take care of Sera. Tell us where he is, and we might let you live." Jenso stated in a cold and threatening tone. If the man told him his location and he managed to remove the helmet, he intended to knock him out with a kick aimed at his head while keeping him trapped in the flame whip.

The helmet would not budge, and Gib didn't show any signs of cooperating.

"What kind of stupid question is that?" He taunted, "Did you not come here to stop him? Are you completely thick?" Gib wheezed and began chuckling lightly.

Jenso shrugged at the man's reply. "I don't exactly know much about the area, hence why his exact location would be better rather than having a rough idea about where he is." Jenso stated. He aimed another kick at Gib's helmet and walked away. "I'll let you live, I think letting you lie there would be funnier." Jenso taunted, heading towards the gates. "Jeff, let's go." He stated, launching a flame dragon punch at the Ordo gates with his left fist.

~ Chapter 78 ~

Sera's Palace


Jenso and Jeff made their way into the compound, entering the grand hall, a giant path that had many doors leading to different parts of the compound. There were hundreds of soldiers in high-tech equipment scattered about however, each looked as if they'd been tossed, sliced in half, or dismembered in some other way. At the end of the massive hall, there was a larger door, painted red with bolts lining its edges.

"Look I understand that you like to make grand entrances Jenso" Jeff started to say as he walked up to the massive red door. "but this is the one you should have used that dragon punch on"
Jeff couldn't help but tease him a little as it made him more able to look past all the death that surrounded him. Cause he really didn't want to think about it.

Jenso smirked at Jeff and walked beside him to the door. "Hey, I can still do it!" Jenso said. "I've learned how to master it enough, so it doesn't drain most of my energy. I still shouldn't use it rapidly, though." He added. Flames bursted out his left arm as he launched yet another flame dragon punch, at the massive red door before him.

The doors swung open, but not off their handles, to reveal the inner sanctum where Sera stood in front of a table, working away at something strange. It looked like a chest-plate, but with wiring and buttons all along its surface. Sera's two white-robed servants stood behind the red doors and slammed them shut as Jenso and Jeff entered the room, standing there briefly before teleporting back over to Sera's side. Sera stopped and smile, rolling his eyes up towards Jenso and Jeff before facing them entirely, while picking the armour up off the table.

Jenso glared at Sera and got in a combat stance. "We're here to kick your ass!!" Jenso screamed at him, looking around the room briefly to see if there was anything out of the ordinary within, besides the chestplate. He took note of the two white robed men near Sera as well.
