Piper the Skitty
[Altepa Desert - Rabao Spring]

@Ninian

Having devoured a quarter of the Huge Apple already, Piper quickly swallowed her food to give the Delphox a more coherent response. "Oh! I said you too! And yes yes yes, I am enjoying myself very much." And with that, she met the apple with another series of quick bites, stuffing her cheeks full before lifting her head to see what the Delphox was about to show her.

While chewing rather loudly, she listened attentively to his explanation, nodding a bit here and there to show that she understood. Despite focusing mainly on the food's taste, she followed his finger, noting where the other places were. It seemed pretty simple, besides the last part of the journey being a dungeon. Finishing what was in her mouth, she looked up at him and raised a paw as if asking for permission to speak. "Yes!" She put down her paw and continued. "I just want to make sure I understood everything and I also have a tiny question at the end. So! The plan is, Gerudo, stay and wait out sandstorm, dungeon, and Folio Town, right? And my question! You said it was a dungeon, is it a difficult one? Like, what types of Pokemon are around there? And how many floors?"

Alodi the Delphox
[Altepa Desert - Rabao Spring]

@MankeyMankey
At Piper's question, the Delphox nodded with a smile, "Correct. The dungeon we will be entering is Folio's Tree itself. Now, I've never actually been there before, but from what I've gathered asking around, it's about eight floors to reach the town proper. I'm not entirely sure who dwells there, but it's likely younger more inexperienced Pokémon, were I to guess. Supposedly, the path isn't very difficult."

Taking the final bite from his apple, he then wrapped the other in the cloth, and put it next to him. Finally, he wrapped up the parchment and returned it to his sleeve, "We should make it to Folio in a few hours. It's not exactly far, but it's certainly not an easy journey. Especially given that neither you nor I can withstand a Sandstorm. Even if we were to locate goggles—which are not easy to come by—we would still be pelted by the sand..."

Shaking his head, he'd give a small apologetic smile, "I'm rambling again. You have my most sincere apologies. Well then, I am ready whenever you are. Do not feel as if you need to rush, however."

Selena the Bayleef and Ember the Quilava
[Folio Town - Entrance to the Trunk]

The flustered Kirlia's reply was hard for Ember to comprehend. But she went along and at least acted like she understood what Lilisette meant. Selena hung on every word, trying to piece together what she was trying to explain. There was one thing that kept hitting her. She kept referring to where she was as 'When' she was. "So... you're from... the future?" She asked, suddenly remembering what she had said the day before when discussing Celebi. "Oh... Oh my... I'm... I'm sorry, I didn't... what I said yesterday... must have hit you so hard..." She said, referring to the event.

"But so... you have... what was it called... Amnesia too?" Asked Ember, causing Selena to look up again. "That's true... so I'd be careful. Even if you think you remember something... it might not be right..." Selena replied, a deep look of concern on her face. "My mom also said not to try to force memories to come back. Just let them come back on their own." She finished.

Fuse the Luxio and Hikari the Luxio
[Folio Town - The Blue Treeko]

The silence finally broke. "Ligero... we are still friends, right?" Hikari asked, causing Fuse to look up and meet her gaze. "Why... why would you even ask that, Hikari? Of course we are. It doesn't matter how long we're apart, that friendship will last forever. That flower is proof." He replied, Hikari looking up at the flower on her head. "That's right... you gave me this, and said as long as it stays in bloom, our friendship would last. And it never wilted..." She said.

The two became silent for a moment, staring down at empty plates. "I always keep my word, Hikari. That's something that will never change." He said. The female Luxio smiled.

After Servine took away the empty dishes and the bill was paid, the two headed for the outskirts. "I want to show you this place, it's got the best view in all of Folio." He said as they approached the Observation Platform.

Omen the Absol and Serenity the Sylveon
[Folio Town - Glyphs Guild]

After a few moments they were addressed by a Heliolisk who, to them, seemed completely reject their offer and disgrace their noble intent. Serenity was clearly hurt by the words, it was a rare event that help would be turned down in a time of need. Omen looked up and locked eyes with the Electric Type. "Had we believed that you were capable of fully defending Folio and its citizens, of no disrespect to any of you, we would have stayed back on the Grass Continent. But this... something is off about this..."

He closed his eyes. "It feels almost like time and space have been warped... and then there's the darkness I sense... deep below Folio..." He opened them. "Our Guild is more than prepared to defend our village. There are few Dungeons near it, and our Guild will stand firm against any attack." He said.

"And the people we care about most are right here with one another." Serenity finally said, Krystal finally popping her head into the scene. "I'm... interrupting something important... aren't I?" She asked, Serenity shaking her head. "No, you're just in time." She replied, Krystal taking a spot next to her sister.

Omen took the floor once more. "We've been travelling across the Grass and Sand Continents, warning Guilds and Organizations about what would come. Some force I doubt even Arceus could explain drew us here. And, like it or not, we're here now, and we'll do what we can for the people of Folio." Omen Finished.

Pyrrha the Gardevoir
[Glyph's Guild - Guild Member's Quarters]

@Light Lord
A small smile played across the Gardevoir's lips as Raiden mentioned he was able to stay, though it faded the moment he mentioned being unable to sleep. "O-Oh... I'm sorry to hear that..." Trailing off, her eyes would avert, and her expression growing increasingly worried.

As he continued, her eyes met his, "...well, don't worry about us. I know we look like mere dancers, but... you know, we're strong too. We can easily hold our own in any dungeon. In fact, we have to to... you know... travel as much and as far as we do... still, I... I want to dance? I understand there's danger, but... I just... I-I don't know..."

Nodding, glanced at the tube, a small smile playing across her lips, "Tea would be lovely. Thank you, Raiden. You're so very sweet..."

Devon the Totodile and Brick the Poliwrath
[Folio Town - Entrance to the Trunk]

@Shiny Keldeo@Ninian
Smiling at the expected non-negative reaction to the Kirlia's secret, the Totodile reached over to wrap an arm around Lilisette. "Yup. We're both in the same boat, with no memories. But Lilisette, just because some things don't add up to what you think they should be, doesn't mean you should blame yourself for it. It's not your fault, you couldn't have known."

Looking over at her with a toothy smile, Devon squeezed her a bit. "I want you to be here with us, because you're my friend. And I promise, we'll get both of our memories back, and figure out a way to get us both back home when all of this is over. Right guys?"

Raiden the Feraligatr
[Glyph's Guild - Guild Member's Quarters]

@Ninian
Nodding at the approval, the Feraligatr set the tube down on the small table before him and reached back into his bag to pull out two small wood cups. As he twisted the cap of the container and began to pour the two sweet smelling beverages, Raiden stared at the falling liquids with a clouded gaze and spoke softly. "I know you want to dance despite what the Guild members told you, and that alone proves how strong you are. Being able to put on a brave face and make everyone happy during stressful times is a tough thing to do,"

Raiden paused for a moment as he reached down to gently pick up one of the full cups between two claws, and extend his arm to offer the cup to the Psychic dancer and smile widely. "...but I also think it's important. You won't be able to do your show tonight, but that doesn't mean you can't dance at all. I doubt the Guild members would mind if you did a little impromptu show in the Square today, would they?"

Glyph the Flygon
[Glyph's Guild - Guildmaster's Office]

@Ninian@Shiny Keldeo
Folio's Guildmaster had remained silent with a bitten lip throughout the dispute in the doorway, meanwhile a few of the badge-wearing Pokémon in the crowd began to whisper.

"Are you kidding me? This special snowflake ditched his own Guild to come help us cause he thinks we can't handle it? What makes him think that his Guild can handle it then huh?"

"I'm more surprised that he's even heard of us....This town isn't exactly easy to get to."

"Hey, the more the merrier. If they're being truthful, why not let em help out?"

"Time and space being warped? I think he might mean the crazy vertigo up here.....What? Is it just me?"

"Quiet."

The whispers immediately went silent as the Flygon barked the command. The Marowak and the Breloom standing behind Robel backing off into the crowd as Glyph's wings fluttered a bit as he took a deep breath through his nose, his glassy red gaze drilling into the Absol that had stepped forward's eyes.

"Omen, while I understand that you and your companions mean well, your actions have been far too hasty. Until you unkindly eavesdropped on our meeting, you had no details of what these senses could mean, thus the Pokémon you have warned have nothing to go off of for preparations." Narrowing his sharp eyes, he continued. "It is very unwise to work based off of mere danger sense. Even the predictions of powerful Psychics must be questioned until evidence is presented. We only have solid evidence for a disastrous event because of this town's history, and because of investigation done by our members. What we do not have solid evidence for however, is when this will take place, or if Folio will be the source. We can only prepare for the worst based on the information we have, and see what happens."

Crossing his arms, the green Dragon's harsh stare softened a bit. "Now, if you want to help, you can prove it by travelling to nearby Dungeons, and recruiting willing Pokémon to help defend Folio. Are we clear?"

Piper the Skitty
[Altepa Desert - Rabao Spring]

@Ninian

Young inexperienced Pokemon huh... Sounds easy enough... Piper thought to herself as she happily munched on her food and listened to the Delphox's response. Although he had answered her question a couple words back, she allowed him to ramble, finding his voice to be soothing background noise while she continued her meal.

Swallowing one last time, she shook her head in response to his apology. "Oh, no need to be sorry~ I like hearing you talk." She stated casually as she followed his lead and wrapped up her leftovers - a half-eaten Huge Apple and two untouched White Gummis. "Actuallyy, I think I'm ready to go now. I'm a bit full... Anyway, could you carry this for me? I don't have anywhere to put it and I wouldn't want it to go to waste, then we can go off on our adventure!" With a bright cheeky smile, she held the bundled cloth up to Alodi and waited for his response.

Lilisette the Kirlia
[Folio Town - Trunk Entrance]

@Light Lord@Shiny Keldeo
"Um... yeah... I'm from the future...? and uh... I think I have amnesia? Maybe? It's really confusing. Anyway, I'll try really hard not to believe every thing I remember, but... it's hard not to..."

Wincing a bit as the Totodile embraced her, she let out a soft, nervous laugh, "Y-Yeah, I guess you're right..." As he continued, tears began to well up in her eyes, and she launched herself towards Devon, tackling him into the two girls nearby, "T-Thank... Thank you....!"

After what probably knocked everyone to the ground, Lilisette picked herself up, brushing off her skirt. Somewhat forcing a smile, she spoke up, "I feel better. We should probably get going... s-sorry for holding everyone up like that. I'm being silly..."

Alodi the Delphox
[Altepa Desert - Rabao Spring]

@MankeyMankey
Tilting his head somewhat, the Delphox gave the Skitty an inquisitive stare, "You... like hearing me talk...?" Taken aback and flustered by the casual compliment, he frantically attempted to regain his composure, "R-Right, well..." Taking Piper's wrapped up leftovers in hand, he then glanced over to his own bag, frowning somewhat. This seems a bit much to carry, hmmm....

Standing up with both of their meals in hand, he flashed a smile at Piper, "Unfortunately, I planned to travel light this journey. Silly me! It's not a problem; I'm sure I can purchase a satchel at the outpost."

One transaction later, Alodi has found himself with a large satchel bag!

Now donning a brown messenger bag slung over his shoulder, the Delphox was prepared. With both meals neatly tucked away, he turned towards his companion. "All right then, shall we~?"

Selena the Bayleef and Ember the Quilava
[Folio Town - Entrance to the Trunk]

The two smiled as the group shared a rather heartfelt moment together. "I know we can figure this out together, we'll find a way!" Said Ember, very confidently. "It won't be easy, but I agree that we'll be able to-" Selena started when, with her eyes closed, she felt a sudden force against her that pushed her and Ember to the ground. "Ouch..." Ember replied somewhat casually. "Could have given us a bit of warning..." Ember said with a laugh.

Selena's mind was otherwise occupied with a sudden pain in her left front paw. Taking a look at it, it had a low amber red coloring around what would be her ankle. "Oh no..." She thought, shaken from her thoughts by Ember. "Hey, Selena, you okay? You're zoning out a little." She said. Inconspicuously hiding her injured paw, she replied. "Yeah, sorry, had to catch my breath... that's all... knocked the wind out of me." She answered.

Ember smiled, never the wiser. "Alright, yeah, I didn't see that coming either. Hey Devon, you okay?" She continued on, Selena alone with her thoughts. "Should I have lied... Mom told me never to tell a lie... but I don't want to ruin this for everyone... it's our first adventure together... besides, it doesn't hurt that bad... well... maybe a little... but I can take it." She thought silently while the group recovered.

Omen the Absol and Serenity the Sylveon
[Folio Town - Folio Guild]

Omen couldn't believe what he was hearing. From the sounds of the Flygon Guild Master, he was getting lectured for doing what was right. Well... on one hand, his explanation hadn't been very well spoken... he was never good with words... but what the Guild Master said next really rubbed the disaster Pokemon the wrong way. The Guild Master was going to change nothing about his plans. The anger was starting to seep through, and Serenity saw this. She had to take over.

"I'm... sorry if Omen offended anyone about what he said... he's not the best when it comes with words." She said, taking the floor a little ahead of Omen. "Omen spent a great deal of time speaking with our Guild Masters about the issue. They meditated together, coming to this decision as a group, a family." She explained. "Although not all of the details were clear, we had enough to go off of to know what was going to happen."

Taking a breath, she continued. "We didn't come JUST to help Folio, we came to serve as messengers spreading warning of what would come. From us spread more messengers, so word is spreading quickly." She looked over at Omen, who had his head hung low and eyes shut in anger. "My partner did speak rather quickly about being here to help, and we'll do what we can while we're here. But we're... just the messengers." She finished, looking at the crowd that seemed to be almost glaring at them.

"So... with that said... we need to prepare for our next journey... we'll be in town if you wish to... speak with us for any reason. Let's Go Omen." She said, with a bit of force and emphasis on her last words. Without another word from Omen, he and the Sylveon at his side made their exit, the Glaceon waving kind of awkwardly. "O-kay then... well... bye." She said before darting to catch up with the others.

[Folio Town - Outside the Guild]

After passing by the Guild Guards once more, Omen finally let it loose. "I Can't Believe Them!" He said angrily. "The Apocolypse is Practically on Our Doorstep, and They Don't Seem to Be Taking It Seriously. There's No Running, There's No Hiding!" He said, Serenity trying to calm him. "Easy, maybe they're working harder than you think..."

"No, I Can See What Kind of Community This Is. One Where the Guild Doesn't Trust The Citizens It Swore to Protect. I Just..." He paused, his head turning out towards the desert. "What is it?" Serenity asked. "It Isn't Here. The Focal Point... It isn't here..." He replied, Serenity and Krystal looking at each other with questioning glances. "Never mind. Let's just get some gear, we'll probably just spend the night, then... well... I don't know yet..." He said as the trio headed towards the Town Center.

Fuse the Luxio and Hikari the Luxio
[Folio Town - Observation Post]

The two Electric Types laid side by side as they looked over the vast desert that surrounded Folio. "It's actually been a long time since I've seen the view like this... usually the sandstorm blocked the view, but it stopped a few days ago..." Fuse explained. "It's amazing... it really is breathtaking." She replied.

He sighed. "Look, I don't care how much the clan wants me back. I set out with a purpose, and I still haven't fulfilled it. Until I can do that, I won't go home." He said, Hikari looking at him. "And like I said, I set out with a purpose too, and I'm not going home until I finish that." She replied with a smug smile on her face.

The two sat in silence for a while. "So... how long are we going to sit here?" She asked. "As long as we want, I guess. There's no jobs to do, and the Guild Master hasn't announced any big plans yet... so we pretty much have all day to ourselves." He said. "That works for me!" She finished as they continued looking off across the desert.

Piper the Skitty
[Altepa Desert - Rabao Spring]

@Ninian

As the Delphox seemed confused by her compliment, Piper grinned widely and nodded, amused by his reaction. "Mhmmm~ Your voice is... calming... relaxing... It's just very nice." She watched him carefully, seeking another flustered look on his face before following his lead and hopping off her cushion.

Hearing his worries regarding their meals, her cheerful expression faltered slightly. "Oh, well, I mean, if you can't carry it, then that's o-" She stopped herself and listened to Alodi's proposition, her bright smile immediately returning. "What a great idea!"

While her companion went off to make his purchase, she decided to spent some more time with the refreshing spring water. After a pleasant time quenching her thirst, she trotted back to Alodi and nodded happily. "Mhm, I'm all ready! You lead the way!" She exclaimed excitedly, the promise of the feast making its presence once more in her mind.

Alodi the Delphox
[Altepa Desert]

@MankeyMankey
With a bit of a spring in his step, the Delphox headed off into the vast desert. Looking over to his traveling companion, the Fire-type flashed a smile, "You're rather cheerful. I suppose that meal has lightened your spirits? It certainly has mine," winking, he'd continue, "Though I certainly would not turn down a feast whenever we reach Folio~ I wonder what it looks like! Ah... I've been all over the Sand Continent, but not once have I traveled there. It is a place shrouded in mystery. Despite that, I am aware of another Delphox that happens to reside there. She is referred to as the Sol Sibyl, and seemingly has mastered her prophetic abilities far more than I have. Not that I'm complaining, of course."

Further wading through the sand, Alodi slowed his steps as his ears heard a change in the wind. "Hmmm... it would seem the wind has picked up. I hope that doesn't bode ill for our journey. I believe Gerudo isn't much further, but..." Averting his gaze to the ground, he paused before glancing back to Piper. "Well! Let's not dwell on that for now. So then, tell me about yourself? What do you do for fun, how has life been thus far? Anything will do, whatever you'd like to talk about."

Pyrrha the Gardevoir
[Glyph's Guild - Guild Member's Quarters]

@Light Lord
As Raiden spoke, Pyrrha's gaze fell downcast as she considered her situation, and his recommendation. "I suppose you're right..." After taking a few moments, her gaze finally met his, "If you believe it will help those in Folio, then... well, I cannot refuse such aide."

Picking up once of the wooden cups, she placed it to her lips, taking a gentle sip, "Ah... this is delicious, thank you very much, Raiden. You're too sweet..."

Robel the Heliolisk
[Glyph's Guild - Guildmaster's Office]

@Light Lord@Shiny Keldeo
While Glyph conversed with their guests, Robel slipped past, shooting a glance at them before making his out of the building. They're very close to having a grasp on the situation, but even then... they do not know. We have plenty of time to evacuate, and as soon as the damage is done, as soon as I defeat the Manifest, then all we need to do is fortify Folio to buy us some time...

Devon the Totodile and Brick the Poliwrath
[Folio Town - Entrance to the Trunk]

@Shiny Keldeo@Ninian
The uplifting Totodile suddenly gasped as he was once again, tackled by the surprisingly strong Kirlia. "GAHOW!"

Devon's side awkwardly collided with the nearby Ember, which resulted in a domino effect that also took down Selena. The three Pokémon collapsing in a heap, with Selena taking most of the fault by being on the bottom of the stack. The dazzled and slightly pain stricken Water-type's vision blurred for a moment as his hand brushed something soft, soon realising he had fallen on the laughing Ember. He shook away his daze before smirking at the Quilava's comment. "By now, I doubt she cares about warnings. We've just gotta get used to her tackles."

Tilting his head to look back at Lilisette, the blue croc laughed. "It's alright. You weren't holding us up, it was important."

When he was asked if he was alright, Devon hastily slide off of Ember's front and back onto the ground and turning around to nod. "My side and my burns just sting a bit, I'll be fine." A sharp toothed grin over took his jaws. "I gotta keep up my role as 'Tank' somehow."

"If you guys are ready, then let's get a move on. That shopkeep's waiting." The nearby Poliwrath said as he hefted the two bags on his shoulders. The large, mossy mouth of the entrance to the Town Path next to him seeming to echo the gruff sounds of his voice.

Making sure the clip on his bag was secure, and his badge was still clipped to his strap, the Totodile eyed up the large, darkened hole in the trunk before turning back to his friends and pumping a fist. "Let's do this guys. I wanna see what a Mystery Dungeon is really like!"

Glyph the Flygon
[Glyph's Guild - Guildmaster's Office]

As the three newcomer's left after the Sylveon's rather lengthy explanation, the Flygon's head hung as he left out a disappointed sigh. "Oh dear...Well, whether they assist, or if they continue on, that is their choice. I will not fault them for it."

Whispers once again flooded the room of Pokémon, but were quickly silenced by Glyph raising his head up and regaining his composer. "Now then, back to the topic at hand. I want Team Dune, Team Razor, Team Oasis, and Team Monolith out in the field recruiting Dungeon Dwellers. Convince them in anyway you can, but please be gentle with them. I will select and group up a few more Explorers without Teams to cover more ground. All who are left, will be the ones to spread the word and begin to evacuate the homes in the far reaching branches. I've already sent for the local carpenters and metal workers to assist with putting in the beginnings of the barricade later today."

Inhaling slowly, he then continued. The stern, serious look on his green face never waning. "I would also like to remind everyone of the emergency evacuation route, inside of my sister's home. If we are unable to get everyone out before the barricade is put up, or if there are those that are willing to leave, but do not wish to be flown down or escorted through a Dungeon, will have that option. Only tell them this if they are being stubborn, because if too many know of it, it will become dangerously crowded."

Raiden the Feraligatr
[Glyph's Guild - Guild Member's Quarters]

@Ninian
The battle hardened Rescuer chuckled as he brought his own cup to his lips, and closed his eyes. "I try my best."

Setting the cup down on the tiny table, Raiden crossed his arms over his chest and crossed his legs. His head tilted down to his left as he stared at the floor, as if lost in thought. Glancing back up at the Gardevoir, he then smiled again. "The tea tastes a lot like the kind I used to drink back in my village. I assume it's a similar berry mixture. I always used to share it with a friend of mine; A little girl that lived next door to me."

Piper the Skitty
[Altepa Desert]

@Ninian

Bouncing happily alongside Alodi with a bright smile plastered on her face, Piper hummed a cheerful tune. It was a typical hot desert day, but her belly was full of delicious food and that was all that mattered. "Oh yes! I am always absolutely positively cheerful all the time and a bit of food will do a great deal to amplify that~" Clapping her paws together at the mention of the feast, she gave a quick nod. "Yes yes yes! I agree, I've never been to a town in a while!"

As her partner began his pleasant rambling, she ceased her humming and listened attentively. "Oooo~ It's a lady Delphox, hmm? She sounds quite talented. I'm sure you look up to her a great deal... and perhaps a little more..." She grinned mischievously before bursting into a fit of giggles. "Ah, I'm just kidding~"

Piper continued walking besides him, matching his pace with each step into the warm sand. When the Delphox began to slow, she stopped and looked up at him, perplexed. "Did I say something wrong?" She asked cautiously before hearing his concerns. "Hm... Maybe we should mo-" Upon being asked to talk about herself, she immediately perked up and nodded. "Oh yes! I can do that! Let's keep going though."

Once the two resumed their trek, she looked at the ground, thinking about where to start. "What to say... what to say... Ah! I've got it!" She exclaimed excitedly before clearing her throat. "Ahem. Well, I'm from the mountainous region just southwest of here. At least, I believe it is southwest. I haven't been there in a while after all. I think I even forgot the name..." She averted her gaze to the ground in deep contemplation. Shaking her head, she laughed lightly and looked back up at Alodi."Oh, silly me! I forgot what I was going to say next! Oh, right, what I do for fun! Well, I enjoy eating, sleeping, and stealing. My trifecta of happiness and excitement! I also love to explore and travel and meet fellow Pokemon... but those have been a little out of the question lately. I'm sure you know why... I mean, everyone's just been so hostile. Sometimes I haven't even provoked them yet and they still try to attack me! It's ridiculous... buuuut I guess it can't be helped. My charmingly good looks can draw some dangerous attention after all." Bringing up a paw, she stifled a giggle. "What about you? What do you do for fun?"

Lilisette the Kirlia
[Folio Town - Trunk Entrance]

@Light Lord@Shiny Keldeo
"Oh um! Sorry, I just... I got a bit excited. I didn't mean to tackle everyone..." Face flushing a bit, the Kirlia averted her gaze as the others spoke amongst themselves. I hope I didn't really hurt anyone... I need to be more careful...

Brick's voice brought Lilisette from her thoughts, and she blinked a bit confused, "Wait, you're coming with us? Don't... I mean, normally don't fresh exploration teams go off on their own? Or is that just um, the Water Continent? You really don't have to follow us, we'll be okay! Really!"

Alodi the Delphox
[Altepa Desert]

@MankeyMankey
Piper's reply warmed Alodi's heart, and he flashed a bright smile, "Wonderful! I'm positively glad to hear it~!"

As she continued, the mention of him having some sort of feelings for the Sibyl caused him to flush deeply, despite the fact she mentioned that it was a joke, "O-Oh, no, no! Nothing... Nothing like that, I assure you. The Sibyl is also far too occupied to maintain any sort of relationship—or so I've heard. In fact, only a chosen few have ever actually seen her."

Listening to Piper's stories, Alodi's brows furrowed with concern, however it was due to the wind, not the content of her words. Curious... it's entirely too early for a sandstorm, yet here it is, beginning. This does not bode well, soon... we'll be surrounded. There must be somewhere we can take shelter...

Smiling as wide as he could force himself to, he replied, "Ah! You must be from Yellow Sand Labyrinth, or at least somewhere near there. It's certainly an interesting place, I could not imagine living there however. As she began to discuss what she did for fun, he couldn't help but laugh, "You steal for fun? Well, that would certainly explain things. Truth be told, I'm surprised you haven't joined that rumored guild of thieves. Though I guess I shouldn't be giving you ideas, now should I?" Flashing her a wink he'd continue, "Anyway, yes... so many hostile Pokémon, far more than there should be, at any rate."

The subject was brought back to him, and he flashed a toothy grin, "Well, if you couldn't guess I'm a wanderer, I suppose. A traveling Magician—though that's mostly to pay for my wanderlust. What I do for fun is study ancient ruins, artifacts, anything of that sort. I also enjoy frequenting taverns and eavesdropping on gossip~ Strange happenings in the world around us. I then use that information to pick my next destination." Pausing, he held up a finger, looking to Piper, "Given you enjoy exploring as well, perhaps you'd like to come with me? It does get rather lonely."

Pyrrha the Gardevoir
[Glyph's Guild - Guild Member's Quarters]

@Light Lord
Raiden spoke of his village, causing Pyrrha to tilt her head in interest, "Oh...? Well, I'm certain she loved it. It's rather delicious. Do you normally make your own tea, then?" Pausing for a moment, her brows furrowed as she continued, "I never did ask, and of course you do not have to say, but... where are you from?"

Piper the Skitty
[Altepa Desert]

@Ninian

Silently noting the concerned look that briefly appeared on her companion's face, Piper continued talking about herself, stopping to respond to his comments. "Yes! The Yellow Sand Labyrinth does sound familiar... I believe it was near my birthplace..." She continued on, her smile faltering for a moment upon his mention of the thieves guild. Picking herself back up, she responded in her usual bubbly tone. "Oh... Um... Well, I've heard of them! Buuut I enjoy the thrill of working alone. I can imagine joining a group would be hard work and having to answer to someone? Ugh, it sounds terrible. Besides, I want to be great at what I do by myself. If I were to work with others, they'd just steal my spotlight, right?" She returned his wink and finished up her response before tossing the subject back to him.

With an intrigued look, she listened to him speak, enjoying the sound of his soothing voice. "Oh yeah, that's right! You did that magic trick to take that thing back after I stole it from you!" She closed her eyes and gave a happy sigh, reminiscing on the recent memory before looking at him. "You like studying? I've never heard of anyone who liked to do that before... but then again, there aren't really any schools where I'm from..." Upon hearing the word 'gossip', she grinned deviously. "Ooo gossip~ I love hearing that stuff! Oh, that reminds me! I also like eavesdropping!" She stated proudly before pausing alongside him at his gesture.

Confused, she tilted her head curiously, worried. It had been a while since she had such a long conversation with another Pokemon. Perhaps she was speaking too much. "Um... Was there something I sa-" Hearing his proposition, she stopped mid-sentence in disbelief. "Wait... W-What... You want me to come with you?" She stammered out, shocked by the request. Although the desire to become his traveling companion had crossed her mind, she had never planned on asking about it so soon. His move was sudden and unexpected. It made her feel strange... Did he really want her to travel by his side? The chance of his words being true delighted her on the inside, making her tail happily sway back and forth.

Trying to keep her cool, she cleared her throat. "Erm... Well... We're already going to Folio Town together, right? Are you just asking for me to confi-" As his words replayed in the back of her mind, it became clear as to what he meant."Wait wait wait! A-Are you asking me to come with you as in... a long-term thing? W-Well... if that's the case... then I'd love to!" She exclaimed brightly, tears of joy welling up in her eyes. Quickly, she turned away and used the back of her paw to wipe at the droplets before looking up at him. "Ahem... What I meant to say was... Sure, I'll accompany you... if you've really fallen for me that quickly~" She teased playfully with a sweet smile. Unable to contain herself, she sniffled and wiped at the tears trickling down her cheeks. This really can't be happening....

Alodi the Delphox
[Altepa Desert]

@MankeyMankey
A cheerful smile spread across the Delphox's maw at Piper's positive reaction, a soft chuckle escaping his maw as he noticed how flustered she'd become. "Indeed, that is what I am proposing~" Putting a claw to his lip, he'd continue, "I cannot say I know where we'd be heading, mind you. I've heard some interesting rumors regarding Folio Town, as well as something large happening on the Mist Continent." Looking down to her, he'd wink once more before continuing, "And trust me, I'd never dream of stealing your spotlight~ Not like those others. Of course, I'm also not usually in the business of lifting, unless you'd consider finding treasures in dungeons such. Mind you, some do consider it such. Especially the articles I find myself interested in."

Raising a finger, he'd stop before looking back at the Skitty, "Speaking of treasures! I had found this a while back. Of course, I cannot do a thing with it. Perhaps you could make better use of it? I believe it may raise capabilities in a Pokémon who's compatible. At least that's what I found with a bit of divination."

Stopping dead in his tracks, he'd step in front of the Skitty with a wide grin, "With that, I present you...!" In a rather over exaggerated fashion, Alodi would pull a scarf-like item from his sleeve. "This!" In his hand, Alodi offered the White Silk to Piper with a grin.

Upon hearing his confirmation, Piper's heart swelled with joy. It was all she wanted to hear. "T-Thank you so much!" She exclaimed cheerfully, clapping her front paws together. With her tail wagging with glee, she dried her face with the back of her paws and listened to his explanation. "That sounds so exciting! And the Mist Continent? I've never been there before! Oh, this'll be wonderful!" She squealed with delight, meeting his wink with a watery one of her own and a little giggle. "Of course you wouldn't steal my spotlight, you're too kind~" Grinning widely, she shrugged. "Wellll... I could always help you with that too... Treasure hunting can be considered stea-"

Stopping herself when he raised a finger, she tilted her head. "Yeah...?" She asked, wondering what he meant. "Y-You have a gift for me?" She looked up at him, her eyes tearing up once more. Seeing the white scarf come into view, she gasped and stared at it in disbelief before cautiously taking it. With shaky paws, she fastened it around her neck, tears streaming down her face. "I-I love it so much! Thank you! Thank you!" She sniffled and frantically wiped at her cheeks. "I-I promise I'm not usually this emotional... I-It's just that... Well... I... I didn't expect all of this to happen today... I-It's so... W-Well you... you are just so kind... a-and..." Clearing her throat, she shook her head, afraid she'd say too much too soon. "Umm... Let's continue on!"

The tears were a bit unexpected, causing the Delphox to flush a bit, scratching the back of his head and looking away, "Don't concern yourself! Think of it as a... promise, of sorts I suppose? We could register to be an official exploration team, or not! It matters not to me~" Turning on his heel he'd continue to press forward. "Anyway, yes perhaps I was a bit too forward. For that, I apologize. That said! We should actually make haste. Please do keep a look out for a... cave, or some sort of structure. Perhaps a dungeon, though I'm fairly certain there is none nearby..."

Glancing over, his brows furrowed, "The wind has been picking up considerably, which would suggest a Sandstorm of significant magnitude is brewing..." Considering the situation for a moment, he'd continue, "Speaking of which, have you ever been caught in a Sandstorm?"

Selena the Bayleef and Ember the Quilava
[Folio Town - Entrance to the Trunk]

As the group prepared to go, Brick made his intentions clear that he would be accompanying him. "Hey, I'm not complaining. But... I doubt he'll be doing TOO much, am I right?" Ember said, moving up alongside Brick. "It makes me feel a bit safer... after all, there's always a chance we could run into whoever attacked you, Devon." She said, bringing up the rear while continuing to hide her injury fairly well.

"Besides, like Ember said, he's probably going to be more of a supervisor, only stepping in when he needs to, as well as showing us the way... I think..." She finished.

Fuse the Luxio and Hikari the Luxio
[Folio Town]

After talking a little bit, Hikari managed to convince Fuse to do something he'd never thought he'd ever do. So, the two headed back towards the Guild, stopping at the door before heading on in. "Hey, guys, is the Guildmaster still in his meeting? I... we've got something we need to talk to him about..." He said, looking at the female Luxio next to him.

Omen the Absol, Serenity the Sylveon, and Krystal the Glaceon
[Folio Town - The Blue Treeko]

After heading back into town, the group was directed to the Blue Treeko, which seemed to be a favorite place of the locals for a bite to eat. So they got a table, ordered their food, and now the discussion was back on. "Okay... I won't say they're treating the situation like a complete joke, but so far they don't seem to have taken anything seriously enough either." He said, finally having calmed down a good amount. "Well, you heard what I heard, they're planning on evacuating the town..."

"But where will they go and be safe? Even Valiant Village isn't safe, that's why Spirit and Luna immediately began rallying the townsmon and preparing defenses." Omen explained, remembering the state of their home when they left. There was no chaos, no panic, but a complete cooperation between the Town and the Guild. "Yeah, but they're already used to dealing with things like this. From what I know from walking around, Folio's been fairly secluded from the world for a long time." Krystal explained.

Omen sighed. "Maybe... but there's still the matter of how they're dealing with the situation. They think that by increasing their numbers and evacuating the town they can keep everyone safe. Doing that could only put them in greater danger..." Omen said. "I guess... right now there's one way in and one way out, if you can't fly. That would kinda make it safer to stand your ground where you have the advantage..." Krystal had heard enough. "Just stop already... no matter what you say, they're going to do what they're going to do. So we need to either move on or help out." She said, stomping her foot down on the table, shocking the other two.

Piper the Skitty
[Altepa Desert]

@Ninian

With the silky scarf snugly fit around her neck, Piper decided to take point, an energetic bounce in each step. It was truly a wonderful day and it wasn't even close to being over. Realizing that the Delphox had a bit more to say, she stopped just a meter away, turning to look up at him. A light flush on his cheeks made her heart swell with joy. His embarrassment was a pleasant change from the primal emotions the wild Pokemon around her area displayed.

"Oh my gosh, that sounds like a wonderful idea! We would make a fantastic duo, right?" Piper squealed at his casual suggestion of officially registering together. She had heard about such teams before - the exciting and dangerous journeys they would take on together and the mysteries they'd explore. Becoming a part of such a thing frequented her mind but she had believed it to be a hopeless dream... up until now.

Nodding at his word to move forward, she waited for him to take lead before following right by his side. "I see... I'll try my best to find one." She began looking around with each step, trying to make out any possible shelters in the distance. "Um, yes, I have been caught in one before... It was a frightening experience... The lack of vision and debris painfully striking against your face... I would not want that to happen again... It was manageable... but only because I stumbled into a little cavern not too far from where I was caught. What about you?"

Alodi the Delphox
[Altepa Desert]

@MankeyMankey
Surprised at Piper's positive reaction, the Delphox raised a curious brow, "Oh, you'd truly like to start an exploration group? Well, perhaps while we're in Folio, if they're not too busy, we could register ourselves." Putting a claw to his lip, he'd ponder, "Though, we would need a name for our team? I'm afraid I'm not very good at such things, though if you cannot think of anything, I can do my best..."

Alodi's mood darkened considerably, as his gaze fell downcast, and his voice sounded more bland than its usual upbeat melodic timbre. "I have, yes. It was a harrowing experience..." Clutching his arm with a paw, he'd continue, "I was on a training mission. We were caught in a sandstorm, however we couldn't find shelter soon enough. You... may not be aware, but after a sandstorm begins, feral Pokémon become frenzied..." Glancing at Piper for a moment, he'd then avert his gaze, "It's more terrifying than a monster house."
