In case anyone's not finished the game (If they even intend to play it) I won't mention any plot points when I ask this: Should I have the Mascot character have a similar background to Morgana? I'm assuming she'll be serving the general same purpose the cat-fiend did.

I suppose now's a good time to say that I haven't finished the game yet. I'm ALMOST finished. But almost in a Persona game translates to "Good fucking luck kiddo."

@Raddum well if your fine starting in a similar position beacuse the first dungeon is for the most part staying similar but it will go more it's own direction as we progress but being an AU Kamoshida seems like a good start and Goro should be the only party member character that really does anything in this story due to having the same antagonist unless someone wants to take over Goro's role im open to changes.
Also that said going to be more like teddie and just not go to the real world often or going to just turn into a normal fox when in the real world?

@RaddumI was 85 hours and 25 minutes that is after killing the reaper twice though which was kinda pointless since i got like 12 level's and no money so fusion sucked for me at the end since i ended with a lvl 74 Arsene and 79 Trumpeter.

Starting off similarly is fine. Though I don't know what I'm supposed to do with the Mascot in Morgana's slot backstory wise if I'm not going down the same route with a similar purpose. Otherwise she's just kind of there... I guess I'll have to figure something out.
She's going to turn into the raccoon dog she's based off of when outside of the Metaverse.
Also, I have a sheet -mostly- done.

@Raddum well you can alter backstory just figure should start in a similar situation but i mean she could just come across the stranded protag and save him maybe he gets caught in a shitty situation like oh surrounded by a bunch of shadows with no escape. I figure i can get a few people started in the same time as i start the story unless people want to join the party later that can be an option hell this protag could leave metaverse perfectly fine the first time maybe getting spied on by your character and jumped beacuse he seems useful? whichever scenario you prefer im flexible.

I just figured the Metaverse familiarity and general guidance would be helpful for the group to have. Though if I did go down the route of just appearing during the first palace I might never get to post at all depending on everyone else's activity because they'd have to get to that point first. Aside from that all I've got to do is potentially scurry around and get shooed off by people because Tomo isn't exactly on the same level for interaction as anyone else until after meeting in the Metaverse, sooooz.
as far as I can tell, I'll be sitting on my thumbs for awhile and I can show up sometime during the first palace. Either as assistance or a potential damsel in distress against demons/a prisoner in a cell.
