Zerina waited until the last second before quickly spin dancing out of the way of the power gem as she used Iron tail to his Hoshi in the gem in the middle of his body to direct the spinning into the centre of the raining dragon/fire storm cloud, she was planning something big it seemed.

Hoshi didn't receive much damage due to type resistance. "Hoshi, extinguish that fire with your Aquatic Catherine Wheel combo!" The Starmie used a combination of Rapid Spin and Hydro Pump to imitate a Catherine wheel firework only instead of sparks and coloured flames, water shot out from all ten limbs and extinguished the raining flames.

Sashia laughed as she said "Just what I wanted you to do, Zerina Dragon salsa". Zerina smirked and began to dance raising her attack and speed for in a display using the firework water display as her backdrop stealing points from the display by the time all the fire rain was extinguished, Zerina was now running at a plus 3 speed and attack. Sashia then nodded at Zerina then took flight, moving a lot faster then before now before she would charge at Hoshi with a powerful thunder punch though both her fists were crackling with electricity. With Hoshi having copied her type, thunder punch was a super effective move now.

Hoshi was hit for super effective damage. "Hoshi, turn Zerina's speed boost against her with Trick Room!" Hoshi's core glowed as the Starmie created a zone around the battlefield that made faster Pokémon slow and vice versa.

Zerina felt shift in movement and stop as Sashia said "Alright, lets turn that zone into a bright place". With that, Zerina mega evoled and a bright sunlight reflected off the trick room making it glow with orange light before she waited and made electricity crackle in her fist as well as she waited.

Zerina answered his laser beam with a solar beam which would collide with the laser beam sending both moves flying into the room making it reflect all over, giving off a beautiful orange glow with Zerina used to make herself look even more beautiful.

"Set the stage with Cosmic Power and use Double Team to form a constellation!" Hoshi used Cosmic Power to turn the Trick Room's ceiling into an outer space setting with Zerina's Sunny Day being a part of it, boosting its defences in the process. The Starmie made several copies, flew up to the ceiling and formed the constellation of Canis Major with the sun from Sunny Day as the Dog Star.

"Turn it against them once more Zerina, Slam the ground with thunder punch and shatter both the trick room and the illusion" Sashia said as Zerina slammed the ground with her thunder punches sending electricity crackling all over the trick room before there was the sound of glass shattering as the trick room shattered all around the two fighters as Zerina charged in Hard with a double thunder punch against Hoshi.

"Counter with Rollout!" Hoshi swooped down at Zerina, spinning like a living shuriken; and when the battlers' attacks connected, the stage was covered in a cloud of dust. Shiranui saw in the midst of the dust a pulsating red light coming from the stage floor, indicating the Starmie was knocked out. He didn't know if Hoshi's Rollout attack was enough to defeat a Mega Charizard Y through exploiting a double weakness.

Zerina fate was not known until the dust settle and standing near the KOed Hoshi was a badly injured Zerina who roared in victory before she collapsed to her knees, which made Sashia run over to her injured pokemon and check over her scars and wounds before she nodded and said "You'll be alright Zerina though, in this state I don't know about our chances against Liam and his fully rested pokemon"

Sashia nodded though the worry on her face was clearly highlighted by worry for Zerina, though she nodded and sent out her fully healed pokemon though there was a plaster on her head from a wound sustained during her battle with Hoshi but she still roared in challenge to Liam and his Goodra when he sent it out.

I know the advantage it has over our Mega Y performance so we'll be using Dragona strategy here" Sashia told Zerina who nodded and stood her ground as she grab the dragon pulse before it hit her though it sent her sliding back a little before slamming it into the ground and sending it straight back at Gooda underground while she began her dragon Salsa increase her stats to plus 3 while Gooda would be distracted by the dragon pulse.

"Alright Zerina, use that sludge bomb to your advantage" Sashia yelled as Zerina stood her ground and used dragon claw to send the sludge all over the battle field making it very slippery for anyone who could not fly, she got poisoned but was able to expel it due to the very powerful bond she shared with her trainer. She then flew and went to hit Goodra with a Dragon claw.
