This is an idea I saw used on another forum, and I honestly quite like it.

It's simple, really: One song is given, but there are two versions: The original, and a cover, either a round two by the same artist or another artist's own take on the same song.

Your job, folks, is to state which you think is better. Sound as simple as I made it out to be?

Have at it, folks. I'll be keeping score as to which is 'better' as the votes come in.

2nd one seems better, but mostly because I enjoy guitar and drums.

@GarlandDaHero What exactly do you mean? Do you only want covers of power slave? xP From the rule it's either band, or the same song. So...the only other option (beside picking the same song over and over again) is picking one of two bands? For what? A song? (a lot of bands don't have covers of songs.) So a cover of theirs? If that's the case, it makes more sense to post the original version as well right?

The point is that people need to post which they think is better, and why.

@GarlandDaHero Okay so it is just you wanting everyone to judge which cover is best of these two songs, and not post other videos of their own? I think the idea of rating covers by multiple artists has more possibilities and would be an interesting way to do things but I got ya. :3

If that's the case, removing this part would make that more clear. (either a round two by the same artist or another artist's own take on the same song.) Because it's a bit confusing with the "round 2" part.

Even without listening, I like testament as a band more. So it's likely not going to be much of a challenge. But I started listening anyway. xP
