@neogreggory Question: Is there a school of magic devoted to enchanting and the creation of magically-powered devices? And whilst I think of it, how about creation-esque magic - fire can obviously call up flames, you can use earth to make various stones and so forth, but what about, say, conjuring a lollipop, for the sake of argument? :P .

Good question, clearly someone thinking with the thinky bits and stuff. Now as to an answer...

I have not included a school specifically for the creation of objects in particular, as I've yet to find something that couldn't be created with the other schools devised thus far. For instance Earth mages could control metal, and then with more precise application one is manipulating gears and creating magic automatons. Add some lightning magic in with that precise metal craft and then you have Add to technomancy.

As for lollipops, I imagine one would use planty nature magic(which clearly needs a better name) in some precise and convoluted manner. I wouldn't know the exact process as I've no idea how to actually make lollipops.

Lovely, thank you for the answer :) . How about warding and/or binding - does one have to learn each school in order to be able to counter it, or is there a body of spellwork specifically devoted to annulling other magic or providing protection from X?

Yet again more fine questions. This is one I hadn't considered to be honest, however it does go well with some matters I've already been considering. So to actually answer your question, there will be a school well suited to the annulling of other magics in general among other things. Still working on the fine details with that one, but all goes well.

As for a progress report, work has been... well slow is one way of saying it for I am a lazy git, but work has been done, most of the first OOC post is done, just missing a bit of lore and context, maybe a few images to find but aside from that all is well. I expect to have it up by the end of the weekend at the latest.

We'll start sometime after I get my friend off of his bony tuckus so he can finish drafting up the rest of it.
Edit: Rather, so he and myself can finish drafting it.
