Turning 16 this year, so I was 6 in 2004. But I completely agree, Hoenn had Pokemon that actually made sense for the climate. Gen 1 did have some bland designs, like the evo lines you mentioned.

I was originally asked to take part in one out of the blue so I tried it and It was fun so I continued. A lot of people here on the guild said that they were surprised that I was even any good! xD

Well, looking back at it yeah, but they meant I was pretty good. Course I wasn't amazing, meh if they meant to be harsh oh well.

honestly I've RPed since I was about 12 and have improved just a bit in that time. I'm comfortable with my own writing level.

I'm about the same: I used to RP all the time as a kid, but I only did so in MMOs. I have about three to four months of tabletop to my name, and I only recently started doing forums.

I'm 18 now and I started on RPG when I was like 13 or 14. Can't remember which. Long damn time. XD

But Hoenn > all if you ask me. Kalos is pretty awesome, and XY is just awesome in and of itself, but I just loved my old Ruby version.

Yeah, I haven't made extreme developments, but I am better. I've been in a PM-type RP where the posts got pretty hefty, I could do it I just didn't enjoy it as much (and I made more mistakes but shhhhh). I can be a super slow writer so that probably had something to do with it.
