Saw the eclipse, currently making my way home.

Nice! Now you can say you've seen one. What did you think of it?

It appeared much different from what I expected. I can easily understand why ancient people thought the world was ending. It is rather sudden, and without those glasses, you wouldn't be able to tell the moon is close to the sun. It gradually darkens for a while as the sun gets more obscured. Animals start getting confused, crickets chirping and the like. The day becomes darker, like dusk, but the colors are all wrong. It's almost like looking at a video of daytime through an underexposed camera. It was quite hot beforehand, but as the partial eclipse continued, it became comfortably cool. Then, it gets very quickly dark enough for stars to be visible. The street lights automatically came on as soon as totality started. The eclipse itself looked quite unlike anything I have ever seen in person. The corona was much larger and fuller than I was expecting, and it was not uniform. The moon is dark enough to look like a black hole, with a halo of light around it that looks like something out of a sci-fi movie. It is hard to get a sense of what it is really like from a video.

Man, I can only imagine. I've only seen a partial eclipse before, so I didn't get to see the full-on corona and things weren't quite as dark. Well, hopefully at least one more comes by where I can see a total eclipse in my lifetime.

So, for this scene not to get completely out of hand, I'm probably going to alternate which ones I respond to in each post.

Eh, at least it's a cool scene. I can try to respond for at least two of your characters at a time, while also doing so for some of mine. I imagine some of the posts will be happening concurrently, but hopefully it won't be too confusing. You just respond for whatever you like at the time.

No worries. Also, sorry for the delays in my posting. I have an assignment due in a few days that's feeling kinda like digging a strip mine with a trowel.

I'll try to get a post up around this time tomorrow. This assignment is the bane of my existence.

I'm thinking about a week or so time. Perhaps a scene making an actual, more detailed plan for how they intend to approach Do'rhajul, with new information. And perhaps another scene concurrently. I can skip to it if you like.

Did you want to do the double-date or summarise it? Karl isn't an especially interesting character, so I could easily write down what Meesei's impressions of him are.

I wanted to have Meesei discuss some things with Lunise as well, so they could be doing that while Fendros speaks for the pack for their plans. After that, we can go to the next encounter with the general. Then, retrieving the axe.

After that, there is only one more shorter task for the pack to accomplish with the axe before it is time for them to push their planned attack against Vile himself. I imagine that will be exciting.
